Awesome! I was thinking about doing it myself, but when I saw you say you would try it, I got lazy. Can't wait to try it.

Delay on the beta testing i added more cards to the database but lackey wont load the images to the game board when decks load, ill look into tomorrow til then i need to sleep typing over 400 cards i need some rest.

well heres an update i couldnt sleep i didnt want to give up on it, sooo i fixed it uploading the plugin now.

WOOHOO!!!

I looked at the Plug-In after I finished work on my own Lackey project and fixed one of the problems for you. You just need to turn all of the horizontal cards vertical and replace your current card back image with the one shown in the picture.


EDIT: For comparison here is how it looked before. (RoxaSoraX' pic)

It worked correctly in a solitaire game. Only thing I'm not sure about is how to get your player card out without having to draw the entire deck. :huh:

the second one isn't working for me for some reason. I have it downloaded but when I move it to the file it's not working.

Install the images in the lackey folder, plugins/kingdomhearts/sets

to werid username: Just click deck (button) then right click to see the pop up menu, reveal deck find ur player card and unreveal your opponent should know your not cheating cause the chat will state that the deck is unrevealed.

shuffle your deck.

This looks great! I just downloaded the files and it works just fine.

anyway if some how we approve of this and you want to upload the main files to the site, i can set up a link within lackey that will update the plugin with the latest version.

I can always use megaupload but i think its better that we release on this site.

Never mind, I got it to load it.

Oh from what ive noticed if we set the download link for th eplugin to this domain, we can bring more attention to our site. The program can pick up our game server but newcomers who wanna try the game can just get our plugin using lackey. So might as well send some traffic our way.

for anybody downloading and wanting to test the online game play ill keep my server on most of tonight and restart up again at 3pm.

I download it, move it into the file and it doesn't work.

Heres what I did for everyone i installed it for.

Download and extracted lackey on the desktop

Open the Lackey folder, then the plugins folder

Download and Extract the plugin (kingdomhearts) in the plugins folder.

Next Open the kingdomhearts folder, and download the images.

Extract the images folder (setimages) into the sets folder (thats in the kingdomhearts) folder

Open Lackey program, goto preferences, goto Load Plugin (1st option) and Browse for kingdomhearts

Thats all, and it worked for everyone, maybe your missing something.

Im going to do a full install package tonight for the game, make things easier for all of us, besides i found some errors that require a database update. I also need to find a hosting site for the plugin, so you can auto update the database in lackey. i cant use megaupload because they dont use direct links for downloading. =(

So how do I connect to the server? I can do everything just fine except that.

Ill put it up i just got home before work so i can leave my server online.

How to connect:
Click server tab

Click the button: Refresh Server List from Tracker

Lackey will load it servers and the select the room you want.
Ours is the only KH plugin so it should be easy and ill be hosting.

I think the problem is the second one shows up as a firefox document with my computer

Full install just move the kingdomhearts folder to the plugin folder all images are already there and the database is updated.

I have made an update that basically cleaned up RoxaSorax' version and added the remaining Rejoin cards.

You will notice next to card names abbreviations for the set it comes from and "~" on words that should be bolded. This is done to help get around the technical limitations of Lackey CCG.

Looks great! Thanks man, ill fix the raritys for the rejoin set other than that wonderful, great job on the resizing of the cards, cuts the annoying huge pictures, and def, slims down the whole plugin.

Question: Is there a way to add functions like, search for your player card in your deck and bring it to the field instantly?

And in want to add a function for the Tigger card so in the chat you can type
"/tigger" and the result will say:

PlayerA jumps up and down shouting Huhuhuhu!

It would just be funny.

^ Maybe even a sound effect of Tigger. xD

No, however you left the removed zone as an editable part of a deck. I was going to fix that however I found it to be a convenient spot to put the player card so I left it in.

Some cards require to be removed from play thats why i left it there.

That's not exactly what I meant. What I meant was that Lackey thinks the removed zone is part of the deck and I was going to fix that but didn't for the reason I stated.

I updated some of the cards text to match the current errata, resized the Rejoin cards to match the rest of the cards, and added a few missing files.

There are still some minor errors with card text from the first version.

lol in the update before this last one, in the rejoin set the Lv 3 Kairi card is called Kairo. hahaha i was laughing so hard when i first saw it. i believe a few promo's are still missing as well. i could have overlooked it, but i didn't see the Lv 0 Kairi Promo in the list of cards. Other than that it looked really good to me. :)

On another Note, i was wondering if it was gonna be possibe after the work for all the cards and translations are done to work a bit with the Lackey setup as well. I tried out the plugins and i noticed that all the cards show up right away, for people who actually want to play this game with a fair amount of equality it seems like right now everyone could run the best possible deck in the game, and then it wouldn't be as much fun. i was thinking about setting it up in a way that you start by choosing a starter deck with a pre-constructed deck inside, then setting up a way to determine winners and losers of a game. then those people who win,(or Something along these lines) they earn points to get packs that will give them a random set of cards from whatever set they bought of the packs, it would make it seem more like an online version of the real thing. At least by my thinking, and it might encourage a broader fan/player base than it would if everyone ran the exact same PURE EVIL form of a deck. I realize that this might be asking for way too much, i just thought that as a possible way to revive the game something along these lines might be just the answer we have all been searching for...

@Lunafayt The closest thing Lackey has would be Open Packs mode. There is no way to force it on players.

Added the Piece of Memory cards and the unreleased promo cards (Thank you, WayToTheDawn.) I've also added the missing Belle promo, fixed a couple errors, and added the missing rarity info on a lot of cards. Lots of cards are missing images. This version will be released on the Lackey CCG forum as well.
