Before set 4 was released I thought 3 was the best because it had a variety friend cards.

3 has the better staples than 4.
Four was kinda a launch of the new World Symbol affiliations, but since the game went dead the idea now is just stupid. In my opinion.

My favourite card for the set would probably be Cloud, or Aerith.

i said Cloud before i got him and read his effect, now i must say Sephiroth. But my favorite FF7 character is Yuffie but shes my fav in BoD

All the more reason to check in with our site of all the Japanese cards.
Learn the card translations then buy the Japanese cards and play with them...that's what I plan to do...when expanded on, I think it's a good card mechanic.

Set 3 was a good set, it allowed for Dark Players to start into not a bad archetype.

is set 3 the best set in all 4 sets cuz i recently bought a light and darkness booster box and still waiting for it to ship to my house. i am hoping to get a cloud or sephiroth card :)

Set 3 was a much loved breath of fresh air. It once again did the job of supplying us with a new play style, and injecting new hope into the community
It brought with us some of the best cards in the series, and also some of the worst. it was also the last set in the game that I ever committed to purchase...oh well

Yes indeed.
Every set had promos and I believe the Set 3 promos were an alternate Kairi Level 0 and Flag Sora.

Well...actually, I don't think he was referring to actual card in the boxes. He's referring to the fact that these promo's were released during the release of Set 3. I believe, on extremely rare occasions, promo's were misprinted into the sets. However these misprints were normally corrected soon after the set's release
Set 4 was the first set to be released with Promo's intentionally released with the actual box
