Appearance:
Angel stands at the somewhat average height of five foot seven for a girl her age, whilst she weighs a healthy 112lbs. She processes a pale, but clear complexion. One of the first things noticed about Angel is her straight hair, which actually passes her slim waist and often seen to reach her thighs. The colour of this is a light honey or strawberry blonde, whilst most people prefer to point out it is actually in between blonde and red. Her eyes are a solemn dull amber colour with little sparkle left, and these are permanently outlined by thick dark lashes. Usually, Angel wears little make up except for her standard bright crimson nail varnish.

There are many other things about Angel, however, that attract most of the attention granted to her, wherever it is actually good or bad. In comparison to these couple insignificant details, Angel’s long hair is considered somewhat normal by standards. This is because Angel was born in Halloween Town, and thus isn’t your ordinary girl. This is blatantly obvious by the pair of black leathery wings that sticks out between where Angel’s shoulder blades are located. On the other hand, Angel might not process any demon horns, forked tail or anything else to suggest her demon heritage, but this little trait of hers does make her given name ironic.

If one can learn to take their eyes off Angel’s wings, they will be greatly surprised by her choice of clothing. In today’s common world Angel would be considered somewhat of a punk or goth, but in her home world her fashion is nothing unusual. Angel loves looking weird and strange in her clothes that are mostly tightly fitting and flattering of her well built figure. She tends to wear a lot of jewellery as well, which rang from a mass of spikes, chains, earrings and necklaces. Her favourite colours unsurprisingly are red, black, white and silver. Angel doesn’t look like an angel, except the angel of death probably, and she enjoys the fact she doesn’t.

Personality:
Most people that know the honey haired demon will simply consider her a screw up. She is prone to being clumsy and always the girl to get things wrong. If someone is going to trip over, without a doubt it will be her and if someone was going to burn dinner they would all look in Angel’s direction. Her terrible memory doesn’t help matters either, and it is well known that she is considered somewhat of a ditz. These traits have made Angel somewhat withdrawn into herself around strangers and she, to an extent, actually believes as well that she is somewhat useless. No one trusts her with anything, and thus Angel doesn’t trust herself either.

The reason for Angel being like this is simply because she can’t handle being under pressure, and when this happens she tends to angry. Throughout her childhood Angel was often meant to be some sort of a child prodigy because of her unique birthday, but the truth couldn’t be more opposite. She was frankly too lazy and opinionated to take part in any of the Halloween events, whilst she also found scaring people one day a year pretty boring. Then of course Angel’s parents and other relatives talked none stop how she was a disgrace to the family name and a huge disappointment. Angel was only young at the time, and these words had a big effect on her.

Other then this, Angel is like any other rebellious teenager. She has no regard for the rules and the feeling of those around her. She is quite self absorbed in truth when it actually comes to it, whilst she has been known to process a temper. This because Angel is the type of girl to bottle her feelings up until they eventually get to breaking point. She never cries either, wherever it is publicly or in private, as her brain automatically connects it to weakness. However, this trait has given Angel the aura of being somewhat strong willed, but in fact this couldn’t be farther from the truth. Angel is secretly insecure, and her attitude is just simply to cover it.

Nevertheless, there are several other aspects of Angel’s personality that should be taken in account and one shouldn’t just write this girl off as a waste of time. Her behaviour might be no way near matching her goody goody name, but Angel isn’t necessarily bad all the time. She does like having fun with people she feels comfortable in the presence off, and these are generally people that understand her. Surprisingly, Angel does smile often and has been to show happiness at times. Another thing is that Angel frankly doesn’t like being the leader in any situation, unless she knows for sure that she can do it better and effectively much faster.

History:
Angel was born the first and only daughter of a somewhat happy couple whose residence was in Halloween Town. Her mother was a demon, a succubus of all things, whilst her father was a rare hell fire. Thus, Angel inherited her mother’s leathery demonic wings and her father’s quite human appearance. However, it wasn’t necessarily her parentage that made Angel so special in their home world. In spite of the fact it was called Halloween Town, not many babies were actually born on this special day of the year. Angel was one those rare ones that did, and hence people expected great things from her.

No one is sure how anyone came to chose Angel’s extraordinary name that completely contradicts herself. Angel was expected to be some sort of child prodigy according to legend. Jack the Pumpkin King was also born on this unique and sacred day, and even he had rose to pass their great expectations. Everyone expected Angel to do the same, and this was only pressed by the fact she was alive. Most of Halloween Town, of course, were considered dead or undead. This was another thing that made Angel exceptionally rare, but in truth Angel wasn’t what they thought she was. She was the complete opposite.

Thus, Angel was soon proven to be a huge disappointment to the town’s people as well as her parents. Angel was naturally clumsy and often messed a lot of things up. In the end no one trusted Angel to do anything after she nearly destroyed their holiday at an incredible young age, and this affected the honey haired girl badly. She hated being put under constant pressure, so to avoid it she simply acted like she didn’t actually care about scaring others or their frightening holiday. It was during these few brief years that Angel’s temper developed, and to be honest she was actually happy doing nothing.

As she progressed into her teenager years Angel became extremely unpredictable with her behaviour. She was rebellious even by their standards, and was known to be somewhat of a loner. It’s hardly surprising when her childhood friends weren't some of the best examples to follow, but in truth they were more into the Halloween spirit then Angel. However, Angel never made it into their little cliché with the excuse being she wasn’t actually scary to look at. Angel secretly took this a compliment though, and she began wondering the world outside her own. It wasn’t until Angel was actually fifteen did she discover her key blade.

This eventful night happened the night before Halloween, Angel’s birthday, when a group of heartless attacked their Town. Angel knew perfectly well this was bad, as the Town itself wasn’t actually evil. Within seconds, Angel is still unsure what happened, a blade and crimson key blade appeared in her procession. She destroyed the threat, and then went on to discover that its source was the heart and chain she had processed since she was a baby. Angel distinctively remembered her parents saying that they had no idea who had given it her and this only made several question appear in Angel’s mind.

She was considered a hero in the town, but once again this placed the great expectation back on Angel. She regretted it, and once again retreated from the lime light. Her parents, disappointed once again, grew to learn that they would simply have to accept her. She didn’t want their attention, and she didn’t want to be special. It was soon after this that Angel took another life altering turn that pointed her in a new direction. Eventually Angel left her home world in pursuit of a new adventure somewhere else. She thought that sixteen years of constant Halloween was enough for her, and thus didn’t even look back.

In the year running up to Angel’s seventeenth birthday, she has learnt and done a great deal in that short time period. Angel has gained skill with her own unique key blade, Melancholic, as well as dabbled in the art of magic. Her new place of residence is in one of the many vacant houses in the third district, which is located in Traverse Town. It might not necessarily be the life Angel first imagined, but she doesn’t plain on settling down yet. Not when she taken up the habit of killing heartless that wanders so willing into her path, as well as picking up the tab with the well known five finger discount.

Angel is not going to get a shiny spanking brand new halo any time soon, that’s for sure.

Weapon(s):

Melancholic Key Blade -
Angel’s key blade is always concealed whenever it is not in use, and Angel is able to make it appear with the simple heart chained entwined around her right arm. The chain then basically becomes the key chain for her Melancholic Key Blade when in use. Over all, the size and weight is perfect for Angel to use. The handle is a circular with cross section passing through it, very similar to the cross she is leaning on in the picture, whilst a jet black in colour. The guard, on the other hand, is crimson in colour with several light grooves present.

The actually key part of the design, however, is slightly more complicated then first envisioned when paid any great deal of attention. This is because at this point the shaft curves inwards slightly, which forms to appear a reaper-like weapon. On this curved part is where the usual key design is located, but it is not as intricate or as simple as other key blades. In comparison, it is almost perfectly smooth except with several ridges tipped in red. It has been noticed that these greatly resemble one of Angel’s wings that it was in fact based upon.
