I am going to try and develop a new banner graphic for the webiste and I thought it would be kind of fun to use a screenshot / 2 screenshots to help with the graphic. What I'm looking for is a beautiful / cool setting in the game (LOTRO or GW). Given where it would go, it would be better if it didnt have characters in it, although a big group picture might not be bad...

So I need your help! Dig through your old screenshots - go take new ones, lets see em! I dont think this site can handle massive image uploads, so put them up on photobucket or something and link them here.

I'd like to have a contest for this, but I'm scratching for prizes. Maybe I can add the forum title of your choice for winning :) Any other ideas?

I went through my Guild Wars screenshot folder and picked out a few. Unfortunately there are people in a couple shots, but if you like the shot enough maybe you could crop them out or something!

I'm not aware of any walls in Guild Wars, unless you count the Great Northern Wall, which the Charr broke. I bet if someone ran around Ascalon City in presearing (the training area when you start a new character) they could get a few shots of it.

A new banner graphic is a good idea. I have nothing against the Prince of Persia dude in the present one, but that we have an ASoIaF themed name, play Guildwars and LOTRO, he just added to the schizophrenia :)

A massive group shot would be cool, maybe tie it in with a kinship event. I can't think of any walls in LOTRO, I'll look around. Maybe a scenic place that all players can reach with minimal escort (like Weathertop), or have a mass trek to Rivendell for a photo op with Frodo, or Gandalf and Elrond.

Maybe have the banner half LOTRO, half Guildwars (too bad we can't all get together :) ). The Great Northern Wall in Ascalon does fit the bill, if I remember right it was a wall against the Charr invasion and reminds me a bit of the ASoIaF wall.
