Title: Another Word for Innocence..
Description: tag;; Rose [Mature]
Asher Gi'Ovani - July 8, 2010 04:11 AM (GMT)
Before either of them knew it, they had arrived in Or'Lin...or at least the outskirts, just along the camp. The rather large camp and barracks was bustling on his own. Asher almost felt like him stepping foot inside would only cause it to fall apart. He had never seen the place run quite so smoothly without him. His men were shaping up quite nicely...it made him proud and scared all the same.
As they came upon the camp, there were tall wooden spikes all around it, but the front gate was open, as if expecting his return. The two watchmen at the entrance, gave him a once over, their faces going from stoic to surprised to excited in a manner of seconds.
"GENERAL!?" they called to him, leaving their posts to join him. They appeared to ignore the girl with him, nearly overwhelming him with a slew of questions of who, what, when, where and why. He quickly silenced them, not wanting them to draw attention to the beloved Asher Gi'Ovani. Asher just knew that he was in for an earful from the other generals and he wasn't quite ready for that yet. Especially since he could not bring Roselyn with him.
"I'm going to have to ask you guys to keep it down. I'm need this much of a ruckus about me being back. Don't cause a scene." Asher warned the two men, who had sickeningly happy grins on their faces. It was only then that they began to look the blond's companion over. Now...Asher was glad that he was the only one that could see between the two of them. His men definitely had minds of their own...
"Who is this intriguing creature...?" The shorter of the two elves asks, licking his lips slightly.
"What are you doing, bringing home cuties like this?" called the other, crossing his arms mock disapprovingly.
"This is an Ambassador from the Skin Walker tribe that I recovered at and you had better keep that tongue in you mouth. Next time It'll be gone. Show some respect!" Asher growled, his arm almost protectively snaked around her shoulders, trying not to weigh down her back pack.
The two men snap to attention, sturdy as poles. The shorter elf had curly blond hair and light freckles and was definitely not as buff as his counter part who stood 2 feet taller than him and was well muscled. The other had long dark hair, braided to the back in one long braid.
"State your name and position," Asher spat, not necessarily feeling as grouchy as he sounded. Though he was peeved that a new girl shows up and suddenly they are slacking.
"Cadet Mi'ete Loe," range the red head, staring off into the woods.
"2nd Lieutenant Jonas Pise'ora," the tall one glared into the darkness.
Asher was glad they couldn't see her face...at the least. He wasn't going to explain anything in particular that he didn't have to...just yet anyways.
Roselyn Starwalker - July 8, 2010 10:40 PM (GMT)
Roselyn knew they where close, she could hear the faint noise of people talking, footsteps, clinks of metal, the neigh of horses.. She moved closer to Asher's side and placed a hand on his back, suddenly nervous. There would be so many she wouldn't know, so many things that she had to learn. This was the farthest out of her comfort zone she'd ever been before, and although she was glad to have the chance to see the world.. she realized that she was also terrified. The closer they got, the more her acute hearing could pick up, and she suddenly wished more than anything that she could see.. What were all those noises? What did the camp look like? What did Elves look like? Rose bit her bottom lip and chewed, overcome with curiosity and almost shivering with nervousness..
All at once, two distinct voices cried out at the same time, and footsteps approached them both quickly. Asher stopped walking and Rose followed suit, pressing close to him, tightening the grip she had on his shirt. Blinking hard, she attempted to see through the blurrs and shadows before her eyes, willing herself to see to no avail.. The two men started out a string of questions. Where had he gone? Why had he gone? What happened? Vaguely, they reminded her of herself, always questioning Asher about something. What's this? What's that? How do you do this? How do you do that? A smile tugged at the corners of her lips and she relaxed, hearing Asher address them both, telling them to calm down.
'Who is this intriguing creature...?
What are you doing, bringing home cuties like this?"
Rose blinked, wide eyed now as she realized that eyes where now on her. Unsure of what to do or say, or even if she should speak at all, she just stood frozen for a moment, blushing darkly. Luckily enough for her, Asher jumped to her rescue, and he growled a command, and a threat to them both. She felt his arm slip around her shoulder and she leaned into him subconsciously as the two others immediately became quiet. Grouchily, Asher demanded names and positions from them both, and they immediately obeyed.. Cadet Mi'ete Loe and a Second Lieutenant Jonas Pise'ora. Pausing for a moment she looked at Asher, as if asking what she should do before looking back in the direction of the two voices.. Swallowing her nervousness, she stood up a little straighter, and spoke back. "Cadet Mi'ete Loe, Lieutenant Jonas Pise'ora." she acknowledged them both, her voice firm, "Roselyn Starwalker." she introduced herself then, before quickly adding. "An honor to meet you both."
Again Rose glanced up at Asher, unseeing, wondering if introducing herself had been appropriate.. It seemed so in the situation. But then again, she had always heard Elves had strange customs.. She would have to learn them all, and quickly.. She hoped that Asher wouldn't get into too much trouble.. bringing her around.. Then again, it seemed as if he had his hand on the situation fairly well..
Asher Gi'Ovani - July 9, 2010 06:11 AM (GMT)
It seemed she was already getting the hang of it all. Although she could not see...very well anyways, Asher was sure she could hear perfectly--way better than him even. He half wondered if the sudden stimulation of going from forest to bustling city would be terrifying. That is pretty much why he took her too the camp first. He felt...although it wasn't as intimate as her village...they were like a village. Every person had their part and a job to do. It would be less overwhelming for her to meet a few of the soldiers here than to have to hear all the craziness of a large city.
He would take her another time...Just the two of them.
"Alright alright...at ease, back to your posts. You'll hear about what happened later on. We are a few days away from our big battle, don't let your guard down so easily next time..okay?" his voice as a bit, just a bit softer now and less aggressive. The two men dropped their stance and began to walk back to their posts. Actually looking like guards.
"Come on...We should probably go inside. A bit safer there..." the blond said matter o factly, guiding the young star walker through the open gates and into the camp site. There was a lot going on: people walking around, training, arrows flying to posts, sword battles, and horses could be heard from the stables. All these things, however, were not his big concern. He merely nodded at the many people that greeted him from a far, giving a slight nod. Eventually he would have to talk to his commanding officer about all this. Especially with Roselyn's importance and he would also have to introduce her to the men he was acutally in charge of.
He was broken from his list of todos by a tall long haired blond running his way. She wore a beautiful dress, made of a dark orange fabric and embroidered with a light blue thread. It was a very fine hand made dress and just from that was enough for him to know who it was.
"Asher! You're back! I am soo glad you are back! I was sooo worried!" the woman called out to Asher in a deep, warm feminine voice. She spoke as if it had been years not days since she had seen him last.
The girl jumps onto him, throwing her arms around him in a tight hug. Asher barely had enough to get his arm from around Roselyn and around the slender girl and fought to keep his balance, nearly toppling over from the force of her leap.
"Ah...Lesa, I knew you were waiting for me. You didn't have to worry! I'm fine..." Asher replied, an affection in his voice. He sounded just as excited as Lesa as he tried to calm her down.
"Wow...I haven't seen you in clothes like that in ages...You really were at a Skin Walker tribe. Did you feel at home?" she asked, finally letting go to examine his clothing.
"It took you not time to heal. I surely thought you would not be here for the battle..."
At the last part...her voice seemed disappointed...as if she wished he had been further away. "Well...you are back...that is all that matter right? Right..."
"I wanted to make sure I got back here in time...its my duty...You know that Lesa..." the general said softly. He knew she felt just as strongly, if not more than Roselyn about the whole thing. However, it was his commitment was to his people and he showed it in his actions and thoughts.
"Well..." Lesa went on, ignoring his comment, "Who is this girl...? You brought someone back from the tribe?" she looked confused, but sounded more disdainful. Almost as if, why would he do that. Anyone that knew her could tell that she was just concerned was all, for the girls safety...whoever she was. Asher just hoed Roselyn understood that. "Actually...we can talk about this in private...everyone is staring now. Come on, to your tent. I'm sure you wanna rest before facing anyone else..."
Almost as quickly as it occurred, Lesa was off to Asher's tent, Asher and Roselyn in tow. Asher had almost forgotten about Roselyn in the heat of seeing his sister again."Ugh...follow me..." Asher said as he lightly grabbed
"Now..." once in the confines of the tent...almost rushed there. "Who are you...?" once again the skeptic tone.
Roselyn Starwalker - July 10, 2010 01:22 AM (GMT)
Roselyn shifted, walking as close as she could to Asher without tripping them both up, not wanting to touch, or trip over anyone or anything that might be laying around, or going on. She could hear the air coming off arrows, and the dull thud as they hit things (not people she hoped), the clash of metal, and the faint neigh of horses. So many things going on at once, and although she couldn't see them, she still felt slightly overwhelmed.. With eyes wide, she wondered what would happen first.. How would she find a niche here when he was gone? It all seemed like too much to handle at once, and her grip on Asher was like the only thing keeping her stable. Then again, that didn't last too long either.
"Asher! You're back! I am soo glad you are back! I was soo worried!
Roselyn blinked and before she could really process what was happening, Asher had let go of her, and had been pushed back away. Blinking in a confused fashion, she looked around, listening to what exactly was going on. The new female commented on his clothing and then about being back for battle. Roselyn furrowed her brow, the uncomfortable feeling she had gotten earlier coming back to eat at her chest. Her ears perked as she caught the woman's voice again, disdainful, almost accusing, pointed right at her. Roselyn didn't like that one bit. Furrowing her brow she opened her mouth to snap before she spoke again, ordering to the tent. The Skin Walker ground her teeth together, hearing footsteps walking briskly away.. Roselyn was very tempted to chunk her pack in the direction of the females head. She was sure it would make quite a satisfying thud, and wondered if it would knock her to the ground.. That would only be satisfying if she could actually see it..
Rose didn't even hear what Asher told her, only knew that he grabbed her, and tugged her along. She didn't appreciate that either, and if not for the fact that she didn't know where she was going, she would have jerked out of his grip. She was not a happy Star Walker. Once inside the tent, she pulled away, rubbing her arm and shooting a hard glare in the direction of the woman's voice. The sound was no longer something comforting, but an irritation that grated on Roselyn's nerves. Again, in the same tone, she demanded a name, talking at her, instead of to. Tossing her hair back behind a shoulder, Rose took a breath in an attempt to calm her nerves. Holding her head high, proud, Rose spoke, "My name is Roselyn Ursa Starwalker." she said easily, before, mimicking the same tone Lesa had given her (hoping to piss her off), Roselyn asked her own question. "Who are you"
Asher Gi'Ovani - July 12, 2010 05:37 AM (GMT)
Asher was NOT liking where this was going and definitely didn't like where it was going so fast. It had suddenly went from a peaceful return home to a stare down fest between his blind companion and his suspicious sister. He could feel the migraine coming on. After his sister demanded to know who she was, Roselyn spat out her full name and demanded the same in return. Why his sister was acting so strangely he did not know. Maybe he could smell the alpha female coming from a mile away? He didn't know, but they both needed to cut it out and stop smelling themselves.
Lesa stared down her nose at the girl, before noding in reply. She raised her brow at the name...but couldn't put her finger on why it was so important. She chuckled lightly, before responding, "I'm Lesa Yuni Gi'Ovani, Asher's sister, if he hasn't already spoken of me. I can tell this girl's got spunk. I like that."
This definitely was NOT what he expected, but then again...as much as he loved his sister, she was quite weird. "You know how dangerous it is here...is there any particular reason you'd bring someone into this soon to be chaos?" she asked...her voice softer and a bit more concerned. "I didn't mean to seem angry towards you Roselyn...but there is a war that is to be had here."
That was about as close to an apology as the girl would get.
Asher opened his mouth as if to just tell her that she was to be an ambasador for their people...but that isn't what he said. He knew that was her purpose here, but at the same time...he wasn't really sure how people would deal with her around here. Or if they would allow her to stay. Either way...he knew she needed to see this...to experience what it was like in another world. So...he came up with something on the spot. Something that would keep his sister out of it as well as not get to many other people invovled.
"She's my girl friend," he said, brow as straight as could be. "I brought her along because...I didn't know if I would get to spend much time with her before the battle...or if I'd make it back. She is also quite a skilled healer...she's the one that helped me back to good health."
Wow what lie that was...and for a moment, he was for sure that he wasn't going to get away with that one. Though he looked up at his sister...only to see her jaw drop with a clatter to the ground. He was sure if he turned to his side, he would get a similar look from Rose. Well, it wasn't like he was against the idea...entirely...he just didn't care for such ideas so soon. Then it hit him that he would have to look the part from now on if someone asked. He mentally kicked himself.
"Well...that was not what I expected you to say...but another healer is always useful...I don't think I have ever seen you with a girl friend..." his sister said, a bit hesitant. "Oh...and I guess you two would like to be alone after your long journey...Welcome to the camp Roselyn...I'll meet with you two later..."
She blushed a bit at the last part before quickly retreating towards the sxit, "You know...you could have told me in that letter that you were bringing your girlfriend..." She disapeared beyond the flap.
Asher sighed, before turning to the girl next to him, "uh...Here...let me help you with that...and...i can explain..." He begins trying to help her out of his bag...
Roselyn Starwalker - July 14, 2010 10:25 PM (GMT)
"I'm Lesa Yuni Gi'Ovani, Asher's sister, if he hasn't already spoken of me. I can tell this girl's got spunk. I like that."
Roselyn was thoroughly confused.. Lesa had been acting like a bit of a brat, and it seemed like they were going to end up going at each other like cats.. and now she was commending Rose on her spunk? What the hell was 'spunk'? Whatever it was, she liked it, and all the poor Starwalker could do was blink.. Lost and confused.. If that wasn't bad enough, Asher just made it ten times worse.. It seemed that his sister had once again taken attention off of her, and put it back onto her brother, chastising him for bringing Rose about in such a time of battle and war.. That annoying lilt of a voice actually softened, and just when she was about to open her mouth to speak once more, Asher took all thought from her brain in one single comment.
'She's my girlfriend..'
Girlfriend. Rose didn't understand that terminology either, but she had a good feeling she knew what it meant. Lovers. Life-mates. It meant you hugged, kissed, never parted for more than a day's time from one another.. shared the same furs at night and eventually where bonded by ceremony and had kids.. Rose's green eyes stared into the far wall for a second, as if trying to figure out when all of this had started.. Sure he was likable enough.. Inwardly, the thought kinda thrilled her, warmed her heart.. But she wouldn't let herself admit it.. They had spent almost every day he had been in her little village together, never spending more than a few hours from each others company.. A touch here, and a small hug there.. But definitely no kissing, and he had stayed on his own at night, while she shared the Starwalker tent.. Rumors had spread, yes, but rumors didn't make things true! Roselyn didn't hear anything from that point, and before she knew it, Lesa was gone.. and she was having to restart her brain to deal with the situation.. Elves were so strange! This whole new world was strange.. And it just got worse after every passing moment. It was like she had gone down a rabbit's hole and ended up in an alternate world where everything was completely backwards.. not to mention bonkers!
As soon as the tent was only occupied by herself and Asher, did he started to stutter and stammer over his words, asking to help and offering an explanation. Snapping back to reality, Rose's brows furrowed as she turned in his direction. "What the hell was that all about?!" she snapped, simply dropping the pack on her back to the floor. "Please, do explain. I'm terribly confused as to what her deal is, and as to exactly when you and I became potential life-partners." she growled, taking a step away from him. The poor girl wasn't really angry with Asher, per say.. But confusion had taken it's toll on her mind, and she was just desperate for answers. Coming into this new place with no clue how to act, or what to do, being questioned like a criminal, and then having her life sprung on her was just too much. She was giving a little.. cracking under the pressure. She didn't cry when she was confused, she got angry.
Turning away from him she didn't move anymore, and instead buried her hands in her hair, tilting her head up and taking a deep breath, trying to control all the questions, doubts, and worries that started to slowly pile up within her mind.. The wound on the back of her head started to throb dully, and she rubbed her temples with the butt of her palms, trying to ease away the headache that was starting to form. "I'm sorry.." she said, reluctantly with a sigh.. Knowing that she had snapped at him.. "It's just a lot to take in at once.."
Asher Gi'Ovani - July 15, 2010 12:10 AM (GMT)
Well, at the very least she didn't faint on him. That much he was grateful for. She also did not try to interrupt him--another grateful factor. Though...the story was completely different after his sister had vacated and all Asher could really do was take it full force. It wasn't like he told her his plan. HE didn't even know the plan till it slipped out his mouth.
"Please, do explain. I'm terribly confused as to what her deal is, and as to exactly when you and I became potential life-partners."
Yep...this was exactly what he expected her to ask...or rather demand of him. Within a few moments of being in a new place, she was already in a whirlwind of information. He kind of felt that way returning to the Skin Walker life...even if it was for only a few days. Granted, it was more like a puff of refreshing air after a while, but he doubted the same could be said about all of THIS.
He step toward her as if to place his hands on her shoulders, to try and calm her, but dropped his hands to his side instead. She probably didn't want to be touched, because it was quite obvious that they were NOT REALLY in mid courtship. It wasn't something he was interested in doing...at this point in his life...but he wasn't opposed to doing this with her...She was a nice enough girl...or so he though. Until he started to purposefully make her life hell. Was it hell to be associated with him in that way? Well...now that he thought about it that way...it kind of stung...a lot.
"I just..." he stared softly, moving back towards his bed. "I thought it would be easier for you, if you had a more neutral view on things. If you came in as an ambassador...you wouldn't get to see what you needed to see. And this way...if you walk with me...people won't be as suspicious...Not that you can't talk to other...people."
He takes a seat on his bed, looking over at her. It just occurred to Asher if she was angry...it was more dangerous for her to just leave than it was for her to stay and get it out of her system. She had nowhere to run...and if he recalled right..that is something she liked to do.
"You know...I don't want you to feel like you have to do anything you don't want to. If you don't want to stay here with me...you don't have to. I also want you to be able to move about as you please...so if you want...I can at least give you a tour of the camp till you know it better yourself," his voice came off as remorseful for a short time, but he tried to lighten it up, so he just sounded excited. He didn't know how well it worked...he was usually good at hiding his true feelings...but he never thought about how it sounded vs how it looked.
"Here, we can even start in this room if you want..." he stands up.
"Then you don't have to be bothered with me if you don't want to be..." His voice kind of trailed off as he walked over to her, gently touching her shoulders as if to guide her around the room.
Roselyn Starwalker - July 17, 2010 12:15 AM (GMT)
Hearing Asher's reasoning behind giving them the pretense of being lovers actually made a lot of sense to her.. And that little bit of sense helped clear away some of the mass confusion she was currently having to deal with.. Something that could explained, something that was stable. She grasped onto it and took another deep breath, sliding her hands out of her hair and trying to relax.. Scouting out and remembering every step in the encampment right now, seemed like a little too much for her brain to handle.. It was already working over time as it was.. But learning the layout of his tent sounded like something immediately necessary.. She didn't want to be falling over his things. Feeling his warm hands on her shoulder, she turned around and embraced him tightly, wrapping her arms around his torso and resting her cheek softly against his chest. The hug was apologetic, and slightly needy. He was her stability in this unbalanced new world, and she could tell from the sound of his voice that she'd hurt him in her angry outburst. The last thing she wanted him to do was leave her alone..
"I'm so sorry Asher.. she murmured against him, apologizing once more for her angry outburst.. holding him close and tightly for a second, as if he would walk away if she let go.. Slowly she pulled away, looking up at him, keeping a hand on his chest, the other reaching out to grab his arm, keeping him in the tent with her. "I just.. Wasn't ready.. I wasn't expecting so much to happen all at once.. I got overwhelmed..." she explained, pleading up a him to forgive her with unseeing eyes. "Please don't go... Stay here with me.." All this wasn't his fault. He'd only been trying to help. Again she'd lashed out without thinking about how he was feeling.. Only ready to snap at the first person she could.. "It really is a good idea.. I mean.." she gave a soft blush and glanced away. "If anything, I should be asking you if it's too much.. I-I mean. I don't want to get you into any trouble.. or anything." she said bashfully, as if just now becoming aware of all the things being a lover entailed.. Even as a pretend lover.
Glancing back up to him again she took a deep breath and tried to will the burning from her cheeks. Grasping his hands, she turned around again, and held her arms slightly out beside her, keeping her hands under his palms, so he could lead her about the tent.. "L-lets just stick with the tent for now.." she said softly, wriggling her fingers under his. "I'd rather walk the camp with a fresh head.." she said with a sigh, leaning ever-so-slightly back against him. The feel of his chest against her back was comforting, and she felt more stable. Now she could think. Closing her eyes she tilted her head back up at him again, smiling. "No tripping me up, okay?" Her voice was playful, a small attempt at lightening the tense mood that had just passed between them.. She didn't want, nor like being on rocky ground with him.. It was better if they stayed level with one another.. Open, so that no more misunderstandings could happen.. Rose understood that his plan had been a last minute decision.. She'd have to teach him how to think of those sort of things ahead of time..
Asher Gi'Ovani - July 17, 2010 01:36 AM (GMT)
When it call came down to it...Asher just decided to suck it up. It's not like he said all those things expecting her to just accept it. Plus...he didn't think he was courting material anyways...yea. He didn't really know the first thing about women...well...maybe a few things that his sister told him...but nothing much. He spend so much time trying to AVOID advances that he didn't really know what advances he was supposed to make. He'd rather be alone the rest of his life than to have to play these love games...He was a General...not some master of disguise. Asher had never been in love....and he wasn't sure if it would start now.
After reasoning with the situation, he felt a bit worse, but he needed to stick with his ideas. Women weren't at the top of his to do list and the only reason Lesa and Roselyn were on his important list is because they were his sister and his new friend. He told the elder Star Walker that he would take care of her and that is what he intended to do. Make sure she didn't get hurt here...even if he might not be able to protect her forever.
It was like everything he said was one big contradiction however and before he knew it...her small frame was wrapped around him tightly as she hugged him. He held his arms up away from him...not really sure what to make of it all. His mind screamed no when it came to "Should I hug her back?" Though in stead he petted her back, fingers getting tangled in her soft, raven strands of hair. He felt very apprehensive about it all..but he dared not pull away...she seemed if she might spontaneously cry.
And Asher knew he'd rather her yell at him for the rest of the evening then cry for a few minutes in front of him.
She seemed genuinely sorry....but he wasn't entirely sure why she felt the need to be...or so he told himself. "It's okay...really...I'm staying, okay?" he replied, his voice still hesitant. Though...all the blushing just added to the confusion. Was she suggesting she didn't mind pretending? Was she just humoring him? He sighed, shaking his head, wishing she'd make up her mind. The blush was cute no less. God...this girl made his brain so fuzzy with her adorableness...(<3)
"No, it's not to much. Pretending isn't hard," he said a matter o factly, hoping to get off the topic. It suddenly all made him nervous. He was going to have to kiss her in public...maybe....Just the thought made his face flush. "Uh...uh...yea...lets start here..." His voice seemed very small and VERY nervous...he just hoped she didn't hear it. He was sure she did though..with her being so close...It was just them as well...like out on that boat. Having her so close had Asher feeling the same was he did before...but this time he had and excuse to be there...much longer and much closer. Bringing his thoughts back he quickly began to try and level his head, making sure to not lean so close to her....even if the back of his mind wanted to see if she still smelled so sweet.
He gently grabs her wrists, guiding her forward slightly and reaching her hand out to touch the flap leading into his tent, "Alright...well lets start here since this is the entrance..." He then lead her towards he right slowly, and lowers her hand to run along the sides of the table. He takes her around the whole thing before letting her touch the things on top. A soft, wrapped up leather case. a round soft brush with no handle, a comb made of leather, a bowl. some leather gloves, and some leather wraps. "This is just my shaving stuff...my gloves I sometimes use for riding and some leather my sister engraved for me..."
Asher takes her along another small table that has a round basin, describing that it normally has water in it, but he's been gone for days. In the corner hangs his long heavy leather cloak. "This is a cloak Lesa made for me, its rather heavy, but if it gets too cold you can wear it if you like..." It would probably way her down, but the innards were very soft, he guides her hand to run along the inside and outside before moving on to a few other things in the room, like extra furs and where his clothes are. He talks about making room for her stuff and guides her to the bed.
"The bed is kind of low...so your shins will hit first...be careful..."
By this time he has moved to her side, a hand at her waist and the other guiding her hand.
"There is a huge wooden post in the middle of the room. You can almost touch everything if you touch the post and reach outward..." he lets her do this on her own, but then realizes that she is about to trip over her bag and Asher reaches out to pull her back, tugging at her waist as she nearly falls, bringing them closer again. He could have just leaned forward and kissed her at this point...but WHY was he even THINKING like that anyways?! He blinked at her for a moment before whatever "this" was, was interrupted by his sister entering the tent...again...at the most impossible moment.
Roselyn Starwalker - July 18, 2010 05:28 PM (GMT)
Roselyn listened very careful to Asher's voice, which had suddenly become very nervous.. She tried not to think about why, and only about imagining the tent.. The rough fabric of the tent opening was the first thing she felt, and Asher told her they where near the entrance.. She observed and recorded this, noting which direction the exit was facing in relationship to the rest of the tent, before nodding her head at him, ready to move on.. Not very many steps were taken between them. The tent wasn't large, and everything was reachable pretty much anywhere you stood.. She committed every little detail she could to memory.. The feel of the leather packet.. the soft brush with no handle, a comb, the scoop of a bowl, leather gloves.. She pressed her hands around, and on top of each item in turn, learning its exact place on the table before picking them up, one by one. She wrapped her hands around each one, feeling the size, and the shape, before placing it exactly in the same spot she'd gotten it from. After a few minutes, she nodded, and he moved her again, to a basin that usually holds water.. a cloak, silky soft to the touch hanging in the corner of the tent.. She let her fingers linger on the soft, plush inside and smiled. Such a lovely coat.. With a tilt of her head she supposed that Lesa loved her brother very much.. And vaguely wondered what kind of Skin Walker she was.. If she missed tribe life..
Snapping back to her thoughts, Rose realized that her shin's had indeed bumped into the bed, and she crouched a moment, sliding her hand over the covers atop it before standing again and holding out her hands for Asher to take again. Instead, he told her that she could reach almost everything in the tent by standing next to the pole in the middle.. Timidly, she groped for a moment before the smooth wood hit her fingers and she stepped up to the pole, reaching out in turn to all the things she knew. The bed, the basin, the table.. the cloak.. Walking in a slow circle, she didn't realize that she'd dropped her bag in the middle of the floor in her previous anger, and started to trip right over it. Luckily enough for herself, Asher darted out, and caught her in time, tugging at her waist and redistributing her balance back, and onto him. With a small noise of shock she blinked, squeezing him nervously as her brain tried to register what had just happened. She'd been tripping, and now she was flat against Asher's chest, closer even than they had been before when she'd hugged him.. She blushed deeply, moving her hands and rubbing his shoulders nervously. His arms stayed firmly around her waist, and at the moment, Rose felt like she might have just crumpled to the floor if he hadn't been holding her up..
Rose's ear twitched. Footsteps where approaching and she started to count them as she heard them. Quickly determining that whomever it was, was heading right for Asher's tent, she quickly leaned up on her tiptoes, reaching up on of her hands to cup his cheek, and pressed her lips softly to his. Closing her eyes quickly, she held him to her softly with both hands, leaning into him naturally to make the kiss seem.. realistic. She'd taken that last moment opportunity to show him that she really didn't mind pretending to be his lover.. That it really had just been overstress and shock that had made her freak out so much over the idea. It was only about two seconds into the kiss that Rose completely lost.. Her cheeks were so read she felt like they would melt off at any second, and she couldn't help but to relax in his hold. Even when the tent flap had burst open, and the intruder entered, Rose didn't part until a few more seconds, reluctant to leave him.. Blinking and looking over toward the entrance of the tent, Rose went wide eyed, as if realizing what she'd just done.. The look on her face didn't help their case. The red cheeks and the wide eyes just made it look like they'd been caught in the middle of a lovers moment.. Which is what she had essentially wanted.. Now she wondered how much of that had actually been fake.. and how much of it had been.. real..?
Asher Gi'Ovani - July 18, 2010 07:47 PM (GMT)
Asher's brain seemed to dead pan for a minute. It had taken him a bit longer to hear someone coming, but before even that, he found himself in a very strange position that he didn't know if he exactly hated. He could only blink, shocked at the sudden affection...or what he considered it to be. A gentle hand came up to guide him towards her soft lips. It was nothing more than that, but the feeling was none the sweeter.
Why...why is she doing this? he wondered vaguely, as his eyes closed slightly. Strong arms pulled the girl before him ever closer as he forgot what was happening. Asher felt slightly warm under the collar, his body betraying what his mind had been yelling for so long. Even so, when she pulled away, he leaned to follow, just wanting another quick kiss, just to touch her lips again...only for a moment...
...no....nonono....What am I thinking?! he screamed in his head, quickly trying to deminish the idea of kissing her again. Asher still wanted to know why...Such a gentle...sweet...barely there kiss? Was she toying with him...? Or...maybe she was just practicing for when they needed to actually do it? He was very annoyed that it didn't last longer. All the extra senses only made this desire a tad stronger, as he could smell the rain still in her hair and feel the warmth from her body...Looking down at her, her face was unbelievably red and her beautiful eyes were quite wide. She made it seem like it was his fault...was it?
Then he remembered that they were no longer alone and sighed, still quite annoyed. The general gazed over at Lesa with half lidded eyes, his cheeks also a slight pink. He would have to address Roselyn about this later...the mixed signals were becoming harder to deal with. Though...he couldn't place why everything was bothering him so much now. Why all of this? He shouldn't feel this longing either.
"Yes Lesa..." he said softly, trying to recover from it all.
"Ummm....sorry guys...I just wanted to remind Asher that he still might want to announce to the commander that he's here..." Lesa said, smiling slightly as she looked else where in the tent to give them some privacy. She never thought her brother to ever be quite that affectionate. She almost felt bad for walking in on that. He gave her a look like SHE had done something wrong...and she suspected that she also might be in trouble after coming in without warning.
"She's right...I probably should do that before her gets too angry. I have been gone for a week after all..." he said, partially in thought. His gaze returned to the girl in his arms.
"Hey..." he said, a hand coming up to smooth turn her face back to his. "I'll be back alright...?" With out skipping a beat, he tilted her chin up and leaned in to brush his lips against hers, following it with a more succulent kiss than the one she had given, locking their lips together momentarily. His hand slid back to rest behind her head, keeping her near. This was the satisfying feeling he had wanted just now. Eyes closed, and lips sliding against hers...a bolder approach to their little game of pretend.
At this point, he didn't care if they were pretending or not, he just knew he wanted more of it...but he also had to remember that this was just a game. Not the real thing. The kiss only lasted a few seconds before Asher hesitantly pulled away, sliding his arm from around her, as he moved away. His other hand slid from behind her head to scratch her chin playfully as their lips parted. His half lidded gaze seemed glassy as he said, "Don't go anywhere..."
Asher never did like half doing things...
Her smirked slightly as he walked away, suddenly feeling a bit better about this whole thing...but he knew he would have to deal with Rose when he returned...if he thought he was in trouble before...hehe...Asher could only imagine the trouble he was in NOW, pulling a stunt like that... At least they looked like a real couple now. And he hoped that was enough to keep his sister away from their tent a bit longer next time. Though...he was starting to feel like they might need to go a bit slower after that...his heart beat had been so quick and he nearly forgot what the objective of the whole situation was. To pretend
NPC -Lesa Gi'Ovani
Lesa hadn't been looking directly at the couple until Asher spoke up and felt very embarrassed about turning towards them again and seeing that...kiss. She didn't know exactly what she walked in on before...but she knew she probably should at least knock next time. He seemed to infatuated with her. You don't just kiss any ole' girl like that...
He had walked past her, on her way to the commander's tent. It shouldn't take long before he came back. This would be the opportune time for her to get to know his love interest a bit more. They seemed a little strange at first and she seemed a little spacey, but there was something about her that Lesa liked.
"Soo....what started this little romance...?My little brother hasn't ever looked at a a girl quite like he has looked at you..." Lesa asked, stepping into the tent a little further, he question laced with mystery. She was really dying to know...and she doubted that Asher would tell her...plus...he would probably be rather busy in the next few days.
Roselyn Starwalker - July 19, 2010 12:14 AM (GMT)
Roselyn had pulled away, and he had just followed, seeking her lips, once, twice, almost three more times before she had turned away to look in Lesa's direction. Her heart pounded against her chest and she felt her grip tighten on him slightly as she started to feel a little.. dizzy. Trying to concentrate, she kept her gaze near the opening of the tent, but cast down slightly, never moving away from Asher. He was just so very.. Warm in that moment.. And just the thought of letting go reminded her how cool the air in the tent had gotten. She just wanted him to hold her for a few moments more.. Wanted to savor what she could of the brief kiss that had been her.. first. Pretend lovers or not, she'd just had her first kiss, and the thought made her eyes wide once more, and she had to resist the urge to bring her fingers up to her lips, almost in surprise. Her ears vaguely picked up the sound of their talking.. Something about a commander needing to know that Asher had returned.. His voice was gruff, slightly irritated, and his hold on her had only tightened.. She rested her head softly on his chest, moving her fingers across his shoulders like a soothing pet.
She hadn't realized he had addressed her until she felt his hand cup her cheek and turn her head back to face him.. She looked up at him with an unseeing gaze, and his fingers grasped her chin, even as he leaned in to capture her lips in a kiss that made her heart flutter, and her head spin.. Rose kissed him back, sliding a hand up to cup the back of his neck, mimicking him slightly as he held the back of her head.. Slowly, before the kiss ended, his body slipped away, and once they finally parted, he simply gave her chin a tickle, before telling her not to go anywhere. She was leaning forward slightly, toward him, having been so very reluctant to be let go, and now she looked at him with a small pleading look. Come back soon And then he was gone..
Taking in a deep, slow breath, Rose suddenly felt very unstable on two legs, and immediately backed up a step, her calf hitting the bed in the tent, before dropping onto it a little unceremoniously. She glanced toward were she guessed Lesa was, a small surprised look in her face as she asked such a simple question.. How did they happen? What started the romance.. She gave a small smile, knowing that her cheeks were still burning, and looked away. "It's.. kinda hard to explain." she said with a small shrug, sliding the back of her hand behind her neck and rubbing. "I was the one who brought him in.. And cared for him while he was in the village.. And it was like.." she paused for a moment, searching for the words that could describe what she felt.. "Like suddenly I couldn't remember what my life was like before he arrived.. you know? Like everything had been a blur up until that point.. nothing else had really ever mattered." she paused once more, taking a breath. "I couldn't help myself." Rose gave a soft smile and shrugged, not realizing that everything she'd said had been true.. She hadn't lied to Lesa, she hadn't had time to even think it was necessary..
Rose paused for a moment, knowing that she had been rambling on and she gave an apologetic smile, reaching up to grasp a lock of her hair and play with it idly. "Sometimes I wonder if things moved too fast.. Worry about what will happen.. what could happen.. And then I'll realize that he's near me.. touching me, or holding me.. talking to me, and it all just disappears.. and I just.. know.." She gave a small chuckle and ran her hand over her cheeks, glancing back over at Lesa again.
"I'm sorry.. I probably sound.. really silly.."
Asher Gi'Ovani - July 19, 2010 04:05 AM (GMT)
NPC - Lesa Gi'Ovani
Listening to the girl was quite amusing, after all that had happened so quickly. Just from their appearance, they seemed rather close. Between their kissing and his clinginess to her since they arrived, it was written all over this scene. She was quite the beautiful girl as well, with her long raven locks and bright green eyes. She had a cute smile as well. Lesa couldn't help but just be excited about this girl. Giving her a hard time earlier was only to test her boldness and she was quite bold. This girl also seemed to not need to be taken care of.
Lesa knew that her brother was a wonderful guy. He always believed in some kind of equality between women and men. Women didn't need to be treated special because they were women and men weren't to be treated as if they are the stronger sex. Women can be strong as well. These were things that Asher grew up with and help true to. Lesa was so proud of her little brother. He just turned out so well.
She recalled him saying that he never wanted to get into a relationship with a woman. That it would only lead to heart ache on the woman's end. This girl had to be special some how. Asher had definitely turned up the charm a lot. Roselyn didn't seem like she knew if she was coming or going.
Lesa slowly walked toward the winded girl, smiling as she sat down beside her. "You don't sound silly at all, Roselyn," started the seamtress, gently touching the girls shoulder. "You just sound like someone in love..."
Lesa couldn't remember the last time she felt like that. That she felt a feeling like that. It is just her and her brother against the world. He had found someone...maybe it was her turn too. Her turn to just...finally give the guys around camp a chance maybe...? Or maybe...she should go back home...to be with her own kind? A strong Skin Walker always did make her blush a little.
Skin Walker...When was the last time she actually identified with a Skin Walker...not very often...but she did try and remind Asher of that every once and a while.
"Asher has always been a sweet heart...I am glad that he has finally found someone. He is also a bit of a smart alack...and i apologize for that...he gets that from me..." she laughs softly, knowing good and well, Asher has already played quite a few pranks on her already. Lesa didn't even have to ask about that. "OH and I want to thank you for taking care of him. I really am grateful. I don't know what I would do if I lost that boy again..." She sighed, remembering when her brother first left the village. He was gone for more than a lifetime it seemed.
"Anyways, I will have to measure you and make you some clothes. It's the least I can do!" Lesa exclaimed, suddenly glad she had a girl buddy to talk to. "And you have a wonderful shape! Anything would look good on you! I HAVE to make you something, dear. I am sure that Asher would love it, too!"
Even through all the cheerful speech, something seemed very odd about the unbelievably adorable girl before her. She didn't ever look her in the eyes...or towards her face. What was with that? She didn't seem like she had something to hide...Was she...was she blind?
Lesa reached our her hand to wave it slowly in front of the girls face as she said, "I don't really know how long you are staying...but it is great to have another Skin Walker here. I wonder...do they still do the star Walker rituals?"
Roselyn Starwalker - July 19, 2010 02:00 PM (GMT)
"You just sound like someone in love..."
Love.. Roselyn's heart fluttered, and yet quaked in fear at the same time just hearing that word. Love was dangerous. Like holding a cobra by the tail. You dodged and danced to keep away, but once it struck you.. it would eat you from the inside out.. Sure, she believed happy romances were possible. Her own parents were happily joined, and had been since they were her age. Rose had never once heard them argue, about anything except for her, and even then it had no place to be called an 'argument'. Sure, love lasted for some.. But Rose hadn't wanted to take the chance to find out. Being blind was tough and came with it's own challenges with normal daily life, but your other senses took charge well enough.. But the young Star Walker was fearful that being physically blind would also make her emotionally blind.. Leave her vulnerable. She was vulnerable enough as it was without a man's hand wrapped around her heart.. The slow realization that her words before had actually been truthful didn't last long before her denial was packing it away again. It was all a hoax, a ruse.. They were just pretending .. right?
Roselyn made sure to smile genuinely for Lesa as she talked about her brother, showing that she was paying attention, without looking at her directly. She tended to avoid looking straight into the direction of voices, lest her obvious lack of sight make anyone uncomfortable (especially herself). Rose had been fortunate enough not to jump when Lesa touched her, and instead only tensed for a moment, before immediately reacting. The older woman was a mover. The Star Walker hadn't even heard her walk over. Her companions voice then grew excited as she started talking about making clothes, and how anything would look good, especially to Asher. Her cheeks went pink and she gave a soft laugh, trying not to sound nervous. "Thanks, I really appreciate it.." she said with a nod. She supposed that walking around in furs wouldn't be quite the norm here, and the only real thing made of cloth that she had was the robe Natal had given her before she left.. It was a pretty robe, to say the least, but it was still only one.. She tried to think of something else to say.. to match the cheer that Lesa was showing her so openly.. It was something Rose wasn't used to.. She'd always kept her distance from other people, and no one had ever really bothered to interact with her as enthusiastically as Lesa.
The fact that Roselyn couldn't even see the faint shadow of Lesa's hand waving in front of her face was the start of a slowly dawning realization. There were too many things on her mind for her to notice it now.. but her world of inky gray shadows against pitch darkness was over. Everything was black. Like someone had covered her eyes in a black blindfold, on a moonless night and stuck her in the depths of a cave. There was nothing left. It was gone. 'I don't really know how long you are staying...but it is great to have another Skin Walker here. I wonder...do they still do the star Walker rituals?' Rose blinked and turned her head slightly in Lesa's direction, completely oblivious to her waving, still avoiding direct eye contact, and gazing.. "Oh yes. Our Star Walker is always working.. We've had a lot of youngsters come of age lately.." she said with a soft smile, feeling kind of bad for leaving Natal to handle all the upcoming rituals on her own.. Rose kept out the fact that she was the apprentice to this said Star Walker. Asher hadn't told Lesa, and so she took the hint, and figured that she shouldn't either. "Just watching all the excitement reminds me of when I did.." she said with a soft reminiscent smile.
Asher Gi'Ovani - July 19, 2010 03:46 PM (GMT)
NPC - Lesa Gi'Ovani
She is blind.
Lesa frowned slightly, clasping her hands back together. She didn't want to let on that she knew...even though Lesa has a history of being loud and VERY aware...she didn't think this was the moment to let that on. It was her little secret that she now knew. Asher would have explained that probably in private she hoped. This was quite the interesting thing to find out however. Though...the very idea made her worry about her brother. If she knew him at all...he would feel like her had to help this girl at every turn. Lesa wasn't aware of how Roselyn handled this...but she probably wouldn't care for it very much...probably. Or...maybe she liked the attention? No...she blushes too much...she seems kinda shy about these things... Lesa thought, always the observant one. A bit more over the hill than her brother.
"Oh yes...I can still recall the day that I went to seek out my animal. It was chosen that I seek out an Ocelot and the one that I found was quite playful...It tormented me for little while before I was able to slay it," the tall blond laughed, touching the bracelet that she had made of its teeth. "They say, the animal that you came across, is only as brave as your spirit. For that I am certain...You seem like a brave individual, so your animal must be grand as well. I just...wish Asher could reach his...I am sure he has spoken with you about it...?"
She trailed off a little...thinking back to the day that she found him. She thought he was dead at first...his breathing and pulse were so faint. It was also a chore for her to drag such a huge man back to the camp...thankfully they weren't too far away. Though...remembering back, she knew she would have traveled even greater distances to see him well again. Not an expense was untouched those few months to make him better. With as cold as their father was...he didn't wish for him to die either...he was just too drunk most of the time to say anything remotely kind. Heh...to think...things turned out this way...just from Asher leaving, what other destiny would have occurred if they had all stayed and father was still alive?
"I am sure he will find that thing that he is missing one day. He's talked to A few Star Walkers and they mainly said that it was his spirit...though who knows. It has been decades since then..." Lesa explained, gazing around his small tent. He still lived so simply...oh Asher...
The mood was slowly drowning and Lesa hated sad moods and quickly obliged the situation with a change of mood. "The encampment is pretty big, without a lot to explore around here...though if you get lost of something...don't be afraid to ask for Lesa. People fear me around here they won't steer you wrong, I can count on it. Seriously...if you need anything...just ask, Roselyn. We might even get to go horse back riding if the calvary aren't using all of the good horses?" the older woman said with a bright smile...even though she knew the girl couldn't see it. Though, since when did knowing something mean that she couldn't act normally?
"OH!" she said a little louder, "if Asher gives you any trouble, tell me and I can whop him one for ya. You can come in now, little Shea..."
A very amused Asher opened the flap to the tent, a huge grin on his face. He had only been standing there a short while and his sister didn't bother keeping that a secret. So much for ease dropping...even though from what he did hear...it was all pleasant. Some things weren't meant for his ears, that could be understandable. It was obvious that his name had come up, but with what persuasion was unknown to him. He'd stood there...hoping to know what Roselyn thought of him...but he figured that wouldn't come up that easily. The feeling of their lips touching as they did, still vibrated through his mind. Could he...really pretend to do all this with good conscience?
As he came in, he tossed a bag of some sort near the bed and walked around to sit next to Rose. His arm slid behind her on the bed as he propped up his arm, leaning against her slightly.
"Well...you were right, He wasn't happy...but that guy never seems happy around here. He was a least enthusiastic about me being back though...I start my normal routine tomorrow. 'I wouldn't want you breaking any fragile bones too early', he said..." Asher rolled his eyes.
"You haven't been telling her any horrible stories about me or giving away my deepest darkest secrets have you?" he glowered at his sister playfully. Lesa stood up, hands on hips.
"Now what kind of sister would I be if I didn't dish out the good stuff?!" she replied, exaggerating. "Your relationship wouldn't last as long if I didn't tell her that you peed your pants on your first hunt outing..."
"What?! Damnit Lesa..." Asher's face red with embarrassment.
"You know me, I had to throw in something juicy...I was just about to leave tho'," the girl snickered. She leaned down to whisper in Rose's ear, just loud enough for her to hear. "Take care of my brother..will you? He's all I've got..."
"Supper is in a few hours kiddos...don't wanna miss your rations!" Lesa said quickly after standing up and happily headed toward the tent flap. "I promise I'll knock next time...I don't want to come across any surprises...or be blinded by horror."
Before Asher could retort, Lesa skipped off, the flap closing behind her. A smile found it's way onto his face, his sister was crazy, but he loved her dearly. He sighed as he looked at Rose.
"You know..." he started, trying to figure out how to say it. He needed to bring up what happened...before things got out of hand. As much as he liked the kisses from earlier, they needed to set ground rules...or something. "A-about befo...re...I think we should...talk about this pretending thing...I mean...you are a good kisser...a great kisser...but...I think we may have jumped the fence with it. We should practice you know...?"
Just after he said that last part her realized what he said and put a palm to his face, "NO...I didn't mean...I mean...ugh...!" He was aggravated and a bit conflicted obviously. He knew what he meant, but he also knew what it sounded like...Seeing as the first two kisses were heaven...he could only imagine with a third kiss would be like...or if it would even continue to be just kissing at all..."Don't...don't you think so...? So we don't surprise each other like before....?
Why was he so antsy....and nervous all the sudden? Why was he so close to her all of the sudden? Had he ever been quite this relaxed around her? Everything from the kiss, to the holding, to the touching and protecting...just seemed so natural...
Roselyn Starwalker - July 19, 2010 11:53 PM (GMT)
Rose continued to humor Lesa good naturedly, nodding in reply to her suggestions and speaking when it was appropriate, smiling.. It was.. Almost easy. Lesa did most of the talking, and that was fine with Rose. She'd just met Lesa.. it'd take a little while before she was comfortable enough to ramble on, or talk to her like she did with Asher.. She liked Lesa well enough (although the meeting had been rocky) and decided that she was a nice enough woman.. She cared about her brothers well being, and his relationships.. The young Star Walker silently promised to try and not disappoint her.. And that's about the time when Lesa called out for Asher, whom entered the tent almost immediately afterward.. She raised a brow, wondering just how long he had been standing outside of the tent.. and how she had not heard him. Shrugging it off, she couldn't help but to smile as he sat down beside her, close, their sides touching as he leaned into her slightly. She leaned back, resting her head on the front of his shoulder, sliding an arm around his back.. It seemed so natural.. So easy. Like two puzzle pieces that just.. fit.
When Lesa left, Rose gave a soft sigh and turned into Asher slightly, sliding her other arm around his waist, cuddling into him slightly.. She told herself it was just in case his sister forgot something else.. Yeah. That was it.. Just in case.. "A-about befo...re...I think we should...talk about this pretending thing...I mean...you are a good kisser...a great kisser...but...I think we may have jumped the fence with it. We should practice you know...?" Rose looked up at him as he spoke, tilting her head slightly, letting a smile tug at the corners of her lips. His stutters were unexpected and cute.. something that she knew he normally wouldn't do. She didn't have to see his face to know that he was blushing.. The word 'practice' however, brought up the way he'd kissed her before he'd gone.. and before she knew it, she was blushing too, glancing away shyly. The kiss had instilled feelings in her that she'd never had before.. Her heart pounded, and her whole body had felt like it was on fire.. She'd felt like parting from him for just one moment would be too much to bear.. Asher wanted to.. practice?
Rose gave a bashful shrug, still looking quite shy, not directly at him, but not releasing him from her soft hold either.. "I didn't mean to.. surprise you.." she said softly, blushing a bit darker. "I just figured it was the best way to show you that.. that I don't mind us.." she paused for a moment, moving her hand to curl up onto his chest, playing with the leather straps there nervously. "P-pretending.. t-that is.. o-or practicing.. I-I guess there's no harm in.. a little p-practice.." she said, her cheeks burning as she glanced up at him, wishing that she could see his face.. Just to watch his reaction.. Suddenly she felt a little embarrassed, probably sounding like she just wanted to kiss him again.. She glanced away for a moment, trying to get herself under control before sparing him another peak, "What.. are we practicing again?" Suddenly unsure of exactly what he'd meant when he said it..
Asher Gi'Ovani - July 20, 2010 12:59 AM (GMT)
"P-pretending.. t-that is.. o-or practicing.. I-I guess there's no harm in.. a little p-practice.."
It looked like he wasn’t the only one that was nervous. The way that she had leant into him so readily when he returned was interesting, however. This whole thing was coming way too naturally. Her thoughts also seemed to be along the same lines as his. He watched for a moment as she began playing with the leather straps of his shirt. His uneasiness slowly withered away as he was charmed by her feeble actions. What was it that made her so enticing to him? She was normally very bold about her feeling…but she seemed just as nervous as him. Most of the other girls he spent time with were very aggressive and he easily turned a blind eye to them. In short, he was used to being the chase not the chaser. Now the tables had turned and his curiosity had gotten the better of him suddenly. Roselyn…He needed to know what it was about her…that he longed for. This bout of pretending was now more of an adventure than he thought…
"What.. are we practicing again?"
His thoughts were slowly interrupted as he heard her question. She was still flustered by the kiss he gave…and she seemed like she wanted to try it again. They would definitely need to practice to make it look as real as possible. Yes…practice. Practice made perfect…always. Though….at this moment, as he averted her gaze…he kind of wanted to kiss something other than her lips…
“Well…” his voice came off a bit deeper than the norm. More like a soft rumble in his chest. “I thought that…maybe we should…practice making sure we look like a couple…” A stray hand came up to play with a lock of her hair, the soft strands twirling within his fingers. He leaned a little closer, his lips a few inches from her face. “…like kissing…and other things…” came his silky voice as he gently kissed her cheek, then her ear.
“It helps…so there aren’t any…surprises…Don’t you think…?” He began kissing along the curve of her ear, the arm that was once behind her, slowly rising to wrap around her slightly, a hand barely touching her hip. His other hand slowly pushes her hair from her shoulder, revealing her neck . His breaths were slow and hot as he paused to take in her scent again, his lips parted slightly. It was a fresh scent, from the rain on the pine trees they passed earlier. “You smell wonderful…” he licked his lips as he leaned a bit closer, his lips feathering against her skin, contemplative. The light touch fell into light kisses down the side of her neck, a callused hand slowly sliding down her arm in unison. Asher’s mind was kind of hazy, fully locked on how soft her skin was and how his lips just glided along it. He wanted more. More of this sweet skin. The arm that snaked around her waist, a hand playing with the end of her shirt. His head dipped down into the crook of her neck, a shift from light kisses to gentle sucking.
Was this what he had been missing out on…?
Roselyn Starwalker - July 22, 2010 09:48 PM (GMT)
“I thought that…maybe we should…practice making sure we look like a couple…like kissing…and other things…”
Roselyn didn't think her face could get any hotter, but it did, and started to feel like she'd stuck her head next to a raging bonfire.. When she felt his lips on her cheek, she gave a soft intake of breath, and as his hot breath hit her ear in another soft kiss, all her nerves went on a hay day. Not being able to see him make her exceptionally sensitive to touch, and each soft, tender flutter of his lips on her skin was like sending a tiny bolt of electricity into her skin and down every nerve ending. Rose released it with a breathy moan, her head tilting slightly to give him more access to the skin of her neck. Her green eyes fluttered closed, and she didn't even hear him speaking again, too distracted by her pounding blood and the touch of his lips on her skin. The feeling was too intensely electric for her to object.. At this point, she didn't even think she wanted to.. The kisses continued to be just like the soft touch of a feather until he paused between her neck and her shoulder, purring at her, saying something that contained the word 'wonderful'.. She couldn't help to think that yes, yes it was wonderful, intoxicating even. A small shudder worked it's way down her spine and she let her hands drift up, running her fingertips softly over his skin, feeling a little giddy that she was able to touch him in such a way, without reprimand or rejection.
After a moment of lingering anticipation, his arm wrapping around her waist, fingers playing with her bearskin wrap, he put his mouth on her once more, drawing a soft gasp from her lips. He was no longer kissing, but sucking on her skin, lightly, but firm enough for her to feel his tongue lapping at her, tasting her as if she were something sweet. Her fingers paused as his shoulder and she squeezed lightly, arching her back compliantly into his hold, another tender moan escaping from her parted lips. Suddenly she felt exceptionally warm, all over. Her face was burning and there was a heat in her abdomen that made her ache, but for what, she didn't know. Every time he touched her, it seemed to quell, and she yearned for more. Shifting, she slid her hand up his shoulder, cupping it up under his chin and pulling his mouth from her neck with a shudder.. Dipping her head down blindly she captured his lips with hers, firmly pressing them against his, slipping her hand lightly around his head, tangling her fingers in his blond hair.
Rose found that it was slightly awkward, trying to press so closely against him sitting the way they were. She disliked not being able to be as close to him as she wanted, and with a soft noise she parted, taking a few soft gasping breaths, continuing to brush and rub her lips against his. After a moment of catching her stolen breath, she kissed him again, and slowly started to press him back, urging him to lay.. Slowly she convinced him onto his back, and, reaching out, she caught herself with a hand before falling back onto him, holding her self up. Her raven locks fell around them as she moved, gently settling her body on his, moving one leg to slip between his, the other curling up at his hip. Situated comfortably she slipped a hand up his chest, softly admiring each dip and curve in the muscle.. The new, closer contact her body had with his took the ache down, but it was still there, pressing for more and more. Parting her lips with his Rose whimpered, and caressed his cheek with her free hand, looking at him with deep green unseeing eyes.. "Asher.." his voice was a soft plea, a gentle purr upon her lips, asking him for something.. Anything.. She wanted more, but needed his guidance.
Leaning down she brushed her lips with his again, but only briefly, her hand playing along his side, teasing the flesh. "Asher.. teach me.." she repeated his name.. Adding a verbal plea to her soft voice. Rose wanted to know how to be his lover.. wanted to learn and was ready and eager to please.. The act of pretending had disappeared from her mind. All that mattered was him. The touches he gave, the feel of his mouth.. He'd successfully drawn her in, and now she was eager and willing. After all, the excuse of just pretending was perfect for denial.
Asher Gi'Ovani - July 23, 2010 01:09 AM (GMT)
What was this…? What was going on? Whatever it was…it made his toes curl and his body ache. It had been a long time since he’d found himself in a situation quite like this one. Obviously too long, with the eagerness her felt. Asher wasn’t one to lose control either and the very feeling was nipping at his heels. He had managed to tangle himself in the vibes of this beautiful Star Walker, feeding off her delicious moans, whimpers, and supple skin. Rose seemed just as eager as her hands ventured up his chest, causing him to his against her neck, a kiss in tow. They tasted even better the third time, his hungry lips savoring hers intently. Ideas swirled about his thoughts, knowing exactly what this could lead to, but never the less, he pushed it aside. Before he knew it , he was pressed down in his back and he didn’t mind at all…but it was only then that he figured the raven haired girl had better ideas. Rose was strewn across him like a snake about a tree…
Asher bit down on his lower lips as smooth fingers petted at his chest. The wall of muscle contracted slightly at her light touch, Asher giving a soft shudder as she passed over his most recent scars—still tender to the touch. The sounds she was making were heavenly to his ears and the way she pleaded with him…calling out to him to teach her, could have easily been mistaken for so many things. So needy, as were her lips. He leaned upwards, easing a hand behind her neck to pull her into the kiss she so desired. His tongue dabbed at her parted lips, begging for entrance. He pulled her downward, lips still entranced with her tender lips. The soldier eased her down onto him, wrapping both arms around her waist, wanting her closer….and getting it as he felt her soft bosom against his chest. A hand slithered down the small of her back, incidentally brushing against the familiar tail of her skirt. Just that was enough for him to feel very dirty…very very dirty. He could only imagine how it would look with her on top of him like this, begging him to teach her, with her innocent doe tail curled in the air and his hand grabbing at her skirt mischievously. A knot began to form at his core, feeling the need for her rising. He didn’t think his little faun knew what she was getting into, with the way she purred and curled to his touch. A hand eased down her bent knee and up again as he considered this momentarily, only to fade away as his fingers casually roamed up the succulent skin of her thigh.
“Just tell me if it feels good…” he whispered against her lips, distracting her as he pulled her stray leg from between his leg and up to his hip. With that, he turned the tables once more, pinning her to the soft fur of the bed. Asher’s hands grew fascinated with her strong thighs, still exploring them as she lay quite flushed on her back. Her legs were that of a runner, smooth yet firm to the touch. The rough hand continued to hike up her skirt as he pressed his hips down against hers, wanting her to feel what she was doing to him. He groaned at the friction against the strain, wanting to be rid of his constraints…but not just then, even though it made itself painfully aware. Hesitantly, they parted as Asher skimmed his lips lower, following the trail of flesh down to the V of the shirt, a warm breath taunting her cleavage. That feminine scent was stronger and he craved it. In his mind it was beautiful, the way her olive skin contrasted brightly with the darkness of the leather shirt. The blush of her skin taunted him, as did the sliver of her stomach that shone at the edge of her wrap. It was all the more for him to want to see her in all her glory, he could already feel a slight bump under her shirt as he roughly ran his thumb around it in a circle.
"...I want to see all of you...do you trust me...?" he whispered huskily at her. The hand once toying with her thigh began to undo the tie that kept her top closed. His hands were starting to get ahead of him...starting to move without him. All Asher knew is that he wanted it and wanted it now. Did he even have the strength to say no? Could he say no to the woman writhing and moaning below him?
Roselyn Starwalker - July 23, 2010 06:39 PM (GMT)
The Star Walker was riding Cloud 9. She found that she very much enjoyed the feel of his chest.. the soft contractions it made when she tickled it with her fingertips, the tensing of the muscle.. She'd wanted to try again, but Asher had already captured her attention again, his lips on hers, his hands softly holding and caressing her.. It was getting difficult to concentrate on everything at once.. Holding herself up, his hands, his lips, his body.. She was dizzy with sensation and simply craved more. Instinct told her she was walking in the right direction, and she wanted to run.. she wanted to know where it lead to, how it would end.. Parting her lips for his, following as he pulled her close, pressing their bodies almost close, his hands roaming their way down her back.. Her cheeks flared red again as she felt him play with the little doe tail sewn onto her skirt.. what seemed just like an innocent detail her mother had done.. was now very.. naughty.. A shiver passed through her body as he moved on, trailing his hand down her thigh to the bend in her knee, seeming to contemplate what, and where to touch next.. His gruff husky voice whispered quietly to her, his lips moving against hers.. She gave a helpless nod and a soft noise, not wanting to part from his lips, compliantly letting him rearrange her leg, so that she was straddling his waist.
Before she could think anything of her new position, he turned the tables, grasping her softly and rolling them over. It was so fluid that Rose didn't quite remember if she'd already been there, or if he had moved her at first.. When he started caressing her thighs and sliding her skirt up her legs, she promptly decided it didn't matter. Her deerskin skirt wasn't long, and as soon as her laying position hindered it from moving up any more, she arched up her hips up, just in time to meet his as he pressed against her. A soft gasp left her lips at the contact and she moaned, feeling something quite hard pressing against her insistently.. His groan made her curious, and she pushed her hips more into his, grinding softly, moving herself against the firm bulge, wanting to hear his reaction. Was he in.. pain? Or did it feel just as good to him as it did to her.. Surely it did.. How could it not? His lips left hers and Rose gave a soft mournful sigh, which was quickly replaced with another moan as he started to trail down her neck and chest. Her skin tingled and suddenly her bearskin wrap was too much, too annoying, a hindrance. She wanted it off. His thumb was already rubbing in a circle around one of her breasts, and she arched her back into the touch, tilting her head back, lips parted in another moan.
"...I want to see all of you...do you trust me...?"
He wanted to see her. She knew what that meant. Already she could feel his fingers working at the ties on her wrap, her silent answer already being followed. She leaned up slightly and nodded, pressing forward to brush her lips against his, ".. yes.. yes, please.. I trust you.." she murmured softly, brushing a hand against his cheek before leaning back and letting her hands join his, working through the ties with quick precision. She'd taken it off and put it on thousands of times.. she knew the quickest way to remove it from her person. After a moment it was finally free, and she arched her back, pulling it off completely and tossing it aside, laying back again and taking a deep breath. The cool air of the tent was shocking against her over warm skin and suddenly Rose felt.. nervous.. She pressed her hands against her sternum, resisting the urge to cover herself from his gaze. What if he didn't like what he saw? She could hardly even remember what she looked like herself.. It was a vague memory.. Her fingers drifted down, starting to slowly trace the long pale scars on her torso.. They started just under her left breast, arcing around in a slow slope before meeting her right hip, slanted across her body. The snow leopard had not let her go without a fight.
Her eyes had opened when he'd first asked to see her, but she was only met with the expected darkness. Now she had them closed again, head tilted back slightly, breathing slightly labored, waiting for him to either touch, or deny her.. Bringing one of her hands from her scars, she brought it up, playing her fingertips down his chest again, studying him blindly.. Rose wished that she could look upon him like he did her.. To see the body she wanted pressed against hers so badly.. It was so regrettable.. but she supposed that it was better than not having him there at all.. Blushing she trailed her hand back up, going to caress his cheek, softly pulling him back down as she leaned up, kissing him again. Her lips parted against his automatically, and her tongue darted across his skin, ready to pull him back into what they'd started. Stopping, at this point, was like telling the sun to stop shining.. She just felt like.. she couldn't.. She didn't want to. Pretending or not.. she wanted him and wanted him to want her as well.
Asher Gi'Ovani - July 23, 2010 11:57 PM (GMT)
This whole thing was turning out to be quite the learning experience...more for her then him. Asher knew the female chemistry and generally how things worked. He was far from and expert at it, but it mattered little as he explored Rose's body, allowing his hands to play where they pleased. Rosey, he didn't expect her to be so ready. Especially when she grinded their hips together. His eyes clenched, a deeper groan escaping his throat surprisingly. Between the two of them...there wasn't a whole lot of fabric...just his leather slacks and the thin fabric of her under things. A shudder ran down his spine as he thought about it, but he would control himself. However, he held her hips down so he could consider what he was doing....instead of jumping to the finish.
"Ahah....you don't want to play with that just yet..." he whispered as she began to help him with her shirt. It was gone and discarded in seconds and his violet eyes fell onto more of the olive skin and across her soft mounds. He took that moment to just look at her in the dim light of the tent. Hair spread across the bed in thick black waves around her head. Then it was all over as quickly as it began, as she became suddenly aware of her nakedness. The look of insecurity both aroused and saddened him. "You're beautiful...don't hide it..." he said, before kissing her, hoping to make her forget.
His hands covered hers as she reached out to feel his chest again. For a moment, he thought he understood what it was. He could see almost all of her now....yet it wasn't the same for her. He let her run her hands along him as they kissed, his tongue exploring her mouth intensely. It was beginning to be too much...his groin crushed against her hips again and he moaned into her lips. It was as if they were made to move together..and it felt too good to do so. If he wasn't careful, it would be over. He raised his hands to momentarily praise her breasts, down to the sway of her waist and hips and back to the skirt where he took it upon himself to run his fingers along the soft cloth, moving slowly down toward her pearl. The fabric was long since soaked through and felt almost like it wasn't there, his finger rubbing ever so lightly against her nerves.
Asher began to suck along her bottom lip before traveling back down the familiar path to her breasts. The magic finger continued its work and it didn't take long before his free hand became impatient, working her undies down her hips, breaking away from her momentarily. In one quick swoop, they were gone and the only thing before him was a mostly naked Rose...in a skirt and boots. Asher thought to remove the boots and skirt...but the naughty part of his mind enjoyed it far too much. He was still teacher after all.
It wasn't long before he rejoined her, but not before he took her in one last time, "So beautiful..." Asher ran his hands up either thigh, his warm breath blowing along her thighs. The scent of her excitement flooded his senses. So close...was all he could think as he went to gently lick her pearl, something he was sure that she had never felt before...and her taste...he could feel the knot in his stomach get tighter and the aching in his groin. He had to remind himself this was about her, he had to slow his roll...even though his body screamed otherwise. Asher licked along her glistening lips , tickling her nub at the top with a smile. The sounds he would get from this..
Roselyn Starwalker - July 24, 2010 09:00 PM (GMT)
'Your beautiful... don't hide it..
Rose blinked, her head tilting up slightly, looking like she was about to ask him a question, before his lips captured hers. After a second, she didn't even remember what her question was.. His lips were captivating, tender but firm, his tongue exploring the cavern of her mouth with intense curiosity. She loved the way he tasted, the way he felt, the way she felt.. It was almost like she was asleep and this was her dream, full of bliss and Asher's soft touch.. a touch that drove her wild. Everything just seemed so right. The sound of his moan, and the movement of his hips against hers were starting to make her heart pound, and her blood race.. The fire in her abdomen burned hotter than before and her hips arched up into his again with a soft whimper. Her hands explored him extensively, taking in as much of him as she could.. Across his shoulders and down the front, slowly scoping him out, picturing every dip and curve, every muscle and scar.. Leaning up slightly she continued down his stomach and abdomen, fingertips playing softly across his skin, circling his navel before going a bit lower, starting to follow a soft, fuzzy patch of hair.. It trailed down until she felt the top of his leather pants, and before she could even think about following it further, he'd moved away, his own hands starting to explore her.. Momentarily distracted, Rose's hands quickly drifted back up, one sliding up to tangle into his soft blond hair, while the other wrapped itself around his neck, lightly, her fingertips petting his back.
Softly he ran his hands down her body, stopping momentarily at her breasts before sliding his hands down the sides of her body, slowly, as if appreciating her feel. Then she felt his fingers slowly stroking through the soaked fabric of her underclothes and she gasped loudly against his lips, eyes closing tightly as jolts of pleasure sang through her. A low moan parted her lips when he started to suck a trail back down and she arched her back, lifting her hips slightly as he started to impatiently tug down her underwear. It didn't take long, and soon enough, she was bare before him, knee's bent and spread slightly, still wearing her boots and skirt.. although, at this point, her skirt was bunched up so much it might as well have been a wide belt that covered part of her hips.. She blushed darkly, feeling particularly naughty, especially when she could feel his eyes drinking her in, looking over every inch.. The cool air was starting to effect her, and she made a small noise, closing her knees and wriggling, lifting her hips slightly, as if trying to keep the heat within her.
His voice and the touch of his hands trailing up her thighs was all her body needed before her knees opened again, her skin quivering as his hot breath hit. She took in short, deep breaths, trembling in anticipation.. What was he doing? What was coming next? Feeling his breath come closer, more intimate, her eyes snapped open, and she opened her mouth to say something.. That's when his tongue hit her flesh, lapping along that over-sensitive bundle of nerves. Her upper body jolted up and she cried out, hands flying down to the bed, fingers closing around the furs tightly. "A-asher!" she called out his name in surprise, having no idea what he was doing.. Wondering what in Gods name had possessed him to .. lick her! Another tremble rippled through her body and she tilted her head back, lips parted, slowly sinking back to rest upon her elbows. Her toes curled in her boots, and she clung tighter to the furs, resisting the urge to move her hips up into his mouth. Soft whimpers and tiny noises escaped her, almost without her realizing, back still arched sharply.. "Asher.. Asher wh-what.." she was interrupted by a low groan as his tongue hit her sensitive bundle again, her hips shifting forward in reflex.. The hot texture of his mouth was almost unbearable.. it felt like any moment she would burst.. "Oh god.. what are y-you doing?! Ahh!" she managed to choke out, hips moving again, arching up, body flexing against the tremors of pleasure kicking through every inch of her body like waves now, instead of short jolts, one flowing right after the other, each one getting harder and harder to bear.
Asher Gi'Ovani - July 25, 2010 01:43 AM (GMT)
He was right. She went wild. As he gazed up, she was restless under his touch. It just made him want to please her more, as he gently sucked on her pearl, amused at how such a small part could make a girl pudding in his hands…or his mouth at this point. The way the body worked was very interesting to him sometimes…though…the way emotions worked were just as interesting. Asher pulled away, after one last lick. He grasped her waist pulling her up from the bed and into his arms, he reached down to grasp her leg, turning them both so he was sitting on the edge of the bed and she was comfortable on his lap. Asher guided her chin upward, his lips carefully caressed hers. Just before he leans in to kiss her, he stops, remembering what this was all about. At first she had been all for the pleasure and then she became unsure. She’d never been touched this way, and this was obvious. Asher didn’t want to scare her with moving on too quickly…
“Rose….” He whispered, his arms sliding around her small waist. “This…is what lovers do…” Hardened fingers gently ran up the small of her back, slowly. He wanted to drown out her anxiousness, make her okay with all this. “They want to touch each other…to make each other feel good…” He figured she might be slightly peeved that he stopped, but he didn’t want her to rush this. Asher reached around her neck, gently pulling her into a softer kiss, not all the hungry, needy kisses like before. Just a simple kiss. Even then, his other hand was still working her over, fondling the soft curve of her breast and teasing the tiny nub of a nipple in one fluid motion. He really was enjoying this. She had such a curvy shape, from her slender hips to her petite waist and sexy exposed skin. “Being lovers isn’t about what you see…its about knowing…because long after sight is gone…you know what your lover feels like…”
Now Asher said this with purpose…It was all much deeper than he would have thought. He was getting caught up. There was no pretend anymore. He was a little too deep for that. He took her hand in his and put it against his face. She could feel the roughness of his unshaven beard, his high cheek bones and big nose, and his strong brow. “I know you…well this is me…” Together the hands traveled down to his chest and scars. He had no shame for his scars. He was proud of the battles he had fought…even the one he was fighting now…with her. As they passed over his most recent scar again…he smiled…knowing that this scar had its own special story as well.
The frolicking hand along her breast worked its magic, pinching and rolling her nipple between his fingers. His lips were on the other side of her chest now giving her other breast its much needed attention, lathering and sucking it with eager tongue and lips. All the while, his own skin was itching for more. He guided her hand ever lower to pick up where she had left off, lightly grazing the dust of golden curls below his navel and onto the straps that kept him under control. He sighed into her breast as her fingers lingered above his need.
Roselyn Starwalker - July 25, 2010 07:23 AM (GMT)
Rose was so lost in the sensation, she didn't even mind that he was not immediately responsive to her question.. So lost that when it stopped her eyes snapped open and a shiver ran down her spine.. The warmth of his mouth left her completely and she gave a tender whine that was quickly replaced by a squeak as he pulled her to him, lifting her up and settling her onto his lap. She looked at him questioningly, and he simply held her chin, brushing his lips against hers in a tender caress before pausing and pulling away slightly. Her name whispered on his lips made her ears perk and she leaned in close to him, settling her thighs on either side of his hips, hands resting lightly on his chest. Chill bumps covered her body as his fingers ran up her back, touching her softly, making her sigh and close her eyes a moment, listening to him as he spoke.. So this is how lovers were when they went off to be alone? Somehow it didn't surprise her.. Rose wasn't completely naive, she knew that whatever they did involved being alone with each other, and was obviously private, but she had no idea that it was.. like this. She felt so totally and completely.. Comfortable.. Safe.. Loved..
When he leaned in to kiss her again, softly, she returned it with a sweet tenderness.. Her lips staying over his gently, a hand coming up to caress the side of his face, lingering on him like she never wanted to pull away.. When he did, his words hit her hard. “Being lovers isn’t about what you see…its about knowing…because long after sight is gone…you know what your lover feels like…” Her green eyes blinked a moment, slowly taking this in.. Her heart welled in her chest with something that she didn't quite know how to explain.. after sight is gone.. you know what your lover feels like.. Rose felt the biggest urge to cry.. What he'd said meant so much more to her than anything else could at that point, and suddenly being blind didn't bother her as much.. Suddenly it didn't even matter anymore.. Because she had him. She couldn't see him, but he was real, tangible under her hands.. Rose didn't need to see anymore. She wasn't a burden.. She was a lover.. his lover.
Asher's hand came to grasp hers, and he ran it across his face, to the stubble on his cheeks, his nose, his eyebrows.. She was only confused for a moment before a soft smile tugged at her lips and she gently took over.. Running her palms and fingertips gently down his face, lingering on his cheeks and going over to caress his ears softly.. Her hands ran through his hair, down the back of his neck, over his shoulders and across his collar bone, back up to his chin, then slowly down again.. Slowly she retraced, with a purpose, the area in which she had so quickly frisked before in their heated moments.. She took in every detail slowly. The scope of his chest, his sides, his abs, stomach.. every scar she found she traced lightly, learning its feel and shape.. the position on his body.. Finally she reached his newest one.. The one across his abdomen that she'd help treat.. the wound from the vampire that had attacked them in the forest the night they'd first met.. It seemed like so long ago.. A soft sigh passed her lips as if she just noticed the extensive attention she was now receiving from Asher upon her chest.. It was followed quickly by a soft moan, her fingers trailing lower, catching that soft trail of hair once more.. Slowly she pet downward, following it until she hit the leather of his pants.. Arching her back, she waited a moment more before reaching down and cupping Asher's chin, tilting his head up off her breast to rest her forehead against his.
Brushing the fingers along the front of his pants, she felt the hard bulge there and curiously pressed her fingertips along it softly. When their hips had met earlier, she'd felt it then, and he'd moaned right along with her.. Shifting, she looked at Asher curiously, pulling away slightly. "Asher.." his voice left her lips in a soft coo, her hands going up to caress his cheeks.. "I.. I want to touch you.." she said blushing darkly.. "Teach me how.. to make you feel good.." she asked softly, trailing her hands down to pet the little trail of fur on his lower stomach again, enjoying the feel of it against her fingers.. Her lips started a small trail of kisses down his neck, mimicking the actions he'd done to her earlier, before trailing them up to his ear, nibbling his earlobe softly. "I want to make you feel as good as you made me.." she said, trying to keep the hint of a whine out of her voice.. She wanted to learn, and she wanted to touch him.. but most of all she wanted to bring him pleasure.. To hear him moan again while she touched him.. Rose wanted him to enjoy being her lover, as much as she enjoyed being his.
Asher Gi'Ovani - July 26, 2010 02:06 AM (GMT)
All the things that he had said dwindled down from something that his sister told him a long time ago about women. Beauty was only skin deep…and although he could be surrounded by beautiful women for the rest of his life…not all had good intentions. They could be after Asher for a number of reasons and she supposedly told him this so that he didn’t just go after the prettiest thing walking. That didn’t stop him much now. The woman before him was innocent…far more innocent than the women normally found in his company. This one, Roselyn…she couldn’t see him and could only go on what he said and the actions he performed. It was only when he hands washed over his face that they really became closer. The only other time that he received this much attention is when he had a bad injury and women flocked to his aid. He would usually turn a death ear to such things, but now as a bit different. She was gentle and cooing and wanting him in more ways than one. When had they skipped friends and become lovers…? Did he want to please her because she was here and now…or did he want to do that because he actually cared about her? He’d only known her for a few days and he was already undressing her literally. The ball was in his court with this one. They were in the heat of the moment…and they were just now asking this question? Why now?
Then he was pleasantly reminded by the soft rubbing along the thing that was going to get him into the most trouble, even though he wanted it so bad. Thoughts were but a breeze through his mind as he was gently fondled. "Asher..I.. I want to touch you..Teach me how.. to make you feel good.." she said. There was a lust about her voice, needy, wanting, long even. As if she had been waiting forever for him to do this. He had to say that he had been working hard to make her feel good, but also basking in her moans and aches, exploring her thoroughly. Rose was like a firecracker waiting to go off. Her fingers played with the leading trail of hair and her lips teased the skin along his throat, not stopping, even at the suspense of his raspy breaths.
"I want to make you feel as good as you made me.." What man could turn such an open invitation down? It was Asher himself that regretted all of this. He had toyed with her tender spots, kissed her until her knees were weak and even tasted her sweet womanhood. All she wanted to do was return the favor, it seemed. Though…Asher knew she didn’t realize what she was getting into no matter how she messaged his skin or nipped at his ears...or how she said his name like a succubus. They could play a little longer couldn’t they? Asher’s hand came to engulf hers, making her rubbed little harder against the bulge and he hissed in reply, biting down on his lip as he made up his mind. He wanted her…
“…You should touch me here then…” he whispered back, as he began to undo the straining ties of his slacks. He sighed, relieved as he released his ache. He wasn’t sure how she would react, with this sudden reveal, but he slowly guided her hand down his lower abdomen. Asher guided her hand down to the base of his member and slowly up the curve of the underside, letting her pet it lightly. A shaky hand reached to grip her thigh firmly at each stroke as Asher gasped quietly in her ear. The hand that guided her coaxed her to wrap her fingers around him, sliding their hands up and down. It was only then that she got that moan that she wanted so badly. To hear him at his weakest and most vulnerable state.
Roselyn Starwalker - July 28, 2010 04:27 AM (GMT)
With his guidance, Rose was able to find out where the sweetest of soft spots on him lay.. With his hand over hers, leading her, he moved her to rub along the hard bulge in his pants more firmly than she had before. A hiss left his lips and she looked up curiously, as if surprised it had gotten such a reaction from him.. Following his voice, she waited a moment, feeling his pants loosen, and then fall away slightly, revealing something she couldn't see.. Immediately she wanted to touch, but he took her hand again, slowly leading her back down his abdomen, further to the base of something hard and warm.. With curious fingers, he led her hand up his length, before her fingers closed around him, and he pushed her hand up and down, which extracted a glorious moan from his lips, one that made her want to shiver.. Yes. That's what she wanted. She wanted to know how to make him moan just as sweetly as she had for him.. To give him back the pleasure he'd given her.. to repay him for being such a tender and compassionate lover. This would be the perfect way..
Ignoring the hand that grasped her thigh in pleasure, she quickly used her free hand to pull his away, leaving her to do all the work. Slipping her hand back down to the base of his length, she took them both, one on top, and other on bottom, and slowly trailed up. Her fingertips examined him closely.. It was almost like wood, covered in soft velvet, and, by the noises he was making, exceptionally sensitive to touch.. Once she'd gone from base to tip, she went back to using only one hand, wrapping her fingers around him, and slowly moving up, and then back down again, letting her thumb brush over the soft top when she came up, and squeezing just a bit more as she came down. Her head tilted up toward his slightly, waiting for any sort of reaction that she could possibly get from him.. She continued this motion for a few more moments, playing with squeezing and letting go, and at one point, just playing her thumb along the top, exploring how he felt.. It was definitely different from anything else she'd ever felt before, and rather odd. She'd had no idea until now what a man felt like.. and she supposed she would never really know how it looked, but she could give a good guess.
Moving again, she slipped off of his lap, keeping one hand on his length, while the other steadied herself on his thigh.. Settling between his legs, on her knee's, she sat back a moment, as if trying to examine him through the darkness, like she was trying to see him.. Sliding her closed hand to the base of his length again, she leaned forward, and gave the top of his length a lick. His skin there was salty, slightly damp, but not unpleasant, and she glanced up again before leaning forward, and taking the top of his firm arousal into her mouth. Careful of her teeth, she ran her tongue along his skin, not moving her head, but simply keeping him there, experimenting with what all she could do with her mouth. Timidly, she gave a little suck, before trying to slowly move forward, as if attempting to see how much of his length she could fit. Her tongue continued to move along the bottom of his skin, and she gave small sucks in between movements. Rose would move more of him in, before pulling away slightly, and then moving forward again, continuing this process until he started to hit close to the back of her tongue and throat. Resisting the urge to gag, she pulled away slightly, taking in a breath before trying again.
After a few moments of this she pulled him out of her mouth completely, taking a moment to breathe properly, before planting a soft kiss on his tip. Instead of asking if he liked it, she simply started to repeat the process, taking as much of him into her mouth as she could at once, before pulling back, and repeating. Her tongue never stopped moving on his skin, and her suckles where frequently periodic. Vaguely, she wondered if Asher had this much fun when he licked her.. The moans she assumed she'd get would make it even more worth while.. That is after all what she had wanted.. To hear him moan, and to tell her she was doing right.. That she was pleasing him and being a proper lover.

Asher was once again surprised at the girl’s eagerness. The situation went from guiding to just watching. His breath felt forever caught in his throat as she slid her fingers across it’s desire. It was good to know that she was becoming familiar, but it was doing wonders for him. The blond found himself propping himself up with both hands, fingers grasping the sheets beneath them gently. Rose only coaxed shallow breaths out of him at first, as she explored what she could not see. It was probably quite the odd object to hold, that he was sure. Probably like playing with a new toy that you aren’t sure where to begin with. As Rose began experimenting with her handle a bit more, it also became apparent that she was a very quick learner as the general chocked out a gasp, feeling her fingers wrap around him and continued to move alone the shaft. Against his willing, his hips rocked smoothly with her movements, wanting more….faster. His eyes half lidded, Asher gazed down at the girl, vaguely wondering if her lack of knowing was a ruse…and how she could work him into a stuttering mess like she did.
“Wha….?” he started, beginning to ask what she was doing as she got off his lap, but knew the answer as soon as she was on her knees. His eyes momentarily fixed on hers as she looked up. Asher couldn’t believe the curious yet innocent look she gave. The blindly searching gaze almost made him feel like he should be commanding her at every turn. It was as if she knew what he was thinking as she made each gratifying movement…but then…she moved on to bigger fish. His eyes widened a little as she leaned forward, licking his member. The blond shuddered, his eyes closed as his focused on the feeling, Before he could get used to this new approach, a moan grinded out his throat loudly, filling the tent. She went from licking to sucking so quickly, that Asher wasn’t sure if up was down or right was left at this point.
Asher melted back into the fur, the moans still rolling off his tongue and he gasped in short breaths, unable to speak. Her tongue slithered along the underside of his penis, his hips bucking slightly at the intense touch. When his eyes did finally open, they lingered on her, watching her rhythmically move her head. In the back of his mind he wondered how she became so good at this and also trying to regain control of himself. Whenever he thought to stop her, he was interrupted by the his own moans and groans of pleasure, not even caring who might be outside of the tent. “Ahhhh…AHHHHH…..mmmm….Rose….” was all he managed as she briefly stopped, allowing him a moment of desire. He wanted more…BUT…there was something much more fun they could do….
Almost as if on cue, his shaft was overcome by the wet warmth of her mouth…again….and again…before he finally gathered the strength to stop her before she could send him over the edge. Asher sat up, pulling his raven haired…”lover” from her knees and onto his lap again, wasting no time in flipping them both onto the bed. Towering over the girl, sprawled out beneath him, he snatched her unsuspecting lips into a hungry kiss. The blond found it very hard to be gentle at this point, the abandoned, but not forgot, aching desire between them becoming too strong to just play around anymore. He grinds his hips against her, resulting in his shaft sliding along her wet womanhood, but not into it…not yet. Asher groaned, the sound muffled by their kissing, while he began working his trousers off, right then and there. It wasn’t long before they were kicked off, forgotten in the room.
“Ro…Rose…I want this so bad…I want you…Do you want me…?” His voice trailed off as he whispered against her lips, switching our urgency for passion…He wanted her to be okay with it…to want it as bad as he did…Every time he closed his eyes, he went through all the things he could do to her…what she was making him feel. Self control was very thin….
