Based on the Animated Series from the 90's

Several years ago Professor Charles Xavier gathered a small group of exceptional people with extraordinary abilities. These people became known as the X-Men. Professor Xavier led the X-Men through the good times and the bad. Unfortunately Xavier became seriously ill and while on his deathbed he gave a moving speech to each one of his X-Men, he was taken by his consort Lilandra to Shi'ar space in hopes that his life could be saved. It is now uncertain if he will ever return.

It had been hoped that the shock of loosing Xavier would be enough to turn Magneto into forgetting his dream of starting the war between humans and mutants, but apparently it wasn't to be. He instead is concentrating more on his Brotherhood of Mutants.

For now the Xavier Institute is in Cyclops' hands, while Storm is currently acting field leader of the X-Men. Their mourning has past, and now the Institutes gates are open. Letting in the next wave of mutant kind and hopes of peace between man and mutant.

More and more mutants are appearing worldwide, but will fate decide which road they will take?
