So I was digging thru the Firefox extensions page last night and loaded up on some more. I now have RSSTicker, Foxytunes and Tab Effect, which is frickin' awesome!
I finally know what that orange thingy is in the address field of some websites now...hey Kavic! We need an RSS feed for this place! ::watches Kavic blow his stack:: :P Anybody else have extensions? What are they? Tried any that were no good? I really wanted one of the weather ones, but when I installed it I got nothing but error pop-up boxes :( |

* Adblock plus (it blocks ads and sh1t, that's why :D )
* Flasblock (blocks the annoying flash things unless you want to see them, quite good) * Flashgot (dunno why, haven't found any good use for it yet) * ImageZoom (quite pointless most of the time, it just enlargens/shrinks the image you want, does nothing to the quality (-> zooming == pixels ftw)) * RefControl (You can forge the httpreferer instead of just not sending it (the old trick in about:config)) * User Agent Switcher (just in case something has to be checked the way it looks in IExploder) At work I tried this PicLens-thingie where you can see the images on a certain website as a slideshow-gallery. It's more of an eye-candy thing than a really useful tool for me :think: At some point last summer I used Sage and then Brief to read my RSS-feeds, before I got tired of them slowing my net surfing for a while (while they updated the feeds) and switched to GoogleReader. I used to use FoxyTunes with FF1 ages ago, but had some strange trouble with it and decided to drop it :think: |

I tried reinstalling FoxyTunes, and it wouldn't take for some reason. :(

Adblock is the greatest singular reason to use Firefox :D
I upgraded to FF 3 and lo and behold foxytunes still works. I like it alot. I have Foxytunes version 3. Did you upgrade Firefox, Kavic? Sadly, Tabeffects doesn't work with FF3 :( Eyecandy, yeah, but I really loved it. |
