Prologue:
Every fairytale started with once upon a time but mine started with him. Every moment, every touch, every second was him. Nothing could change the fact that my life revolved around him. He was my best friend and my life, my boyfriend and my soul, nothing could compare with how much I was attached to him. But during that month in December almost 3 years ago my tragedy started.
"Neil?" I asked over the phone.
"Yeah?" he replied.
"Just wondering if you want to hang out tomorrow, you know near our tree." how romantic it would be. Just me and him enjoying another sunset.
"Sure, that would be great. We should engrave our initials on it. At 5?"
"Awesome! Meet you there." My excitedment was overflowing.
"'Kay, bye. I love you."
"Me too."
I waited and I waited. Hours past and he still hasn't arrived. Where was he? I wanted to spend my birthday with him! How could he even have a thought of abandoning me? What was I to him? It was 9 and still no sign of him...I walked towards our tree and started examining the trunk. There was something engraved there..."I love you, Amber. Wait for me, Neil" What is this? He...what?
So this was how it all started. In despair I lived and I will live with those eight words he gave me for eternity. Will he come and find me? Please I beg you, come find me.
