Miko Peled is a Jew, the son of an Israeli general who took part in the war of 1967. Miko has written a book entitled The General’s Son. In that book he sweeps away, completely IMO,the myths of Israel. There are three major myths which Peled exposes:
1)The myth of 1948 and the lies surrounding the “a country without a people for a people without a country.”
2)The myth of an alleged “existential threat” supposedly justifying the Israeli war of aggression in 1967.
3)The myth of Israeli “democracy.”
4)This video is 28 minutes long, and well worth watching by anyone who really wants to know the truth about modern Israel. I realize that that might eliminate a few of the IA forum members. Nevertheless, I offer up Mr. Peled’s testimony to hopefully the majority of forum members who do want to know the truth about modern Israel.

Though this thread has had a number of hits, I observe that no one dares to start a counter-offensive. No one challenges the "myths" surrounding the state of Israel. No one cares to take on the son of an Israeli general.
