Oooch, that can't be friendly to the environment. Cool, though.

Thought this might interest some of you guys: How to turn any LCD screen into a multi-touch surface. All you need is a wiimote, some infra-red LEDs, a bluetooth capable PC/dongle, and some software. Also works with projected images.

That's pretty amazing. Reminds me of www.instructables.com.

The results are cool, how it works though, I'm still not too clear on. Something about sending the coordinates of your pen through the LCD via the wiimote and satellites orbiting the Hoghead Nebula. At least that's what I got from it. Wouldn't be a bad alternative to a Wacom either. No sensitivity, which is a big loss, but it would allow you to draw on the screen, which most Wacoms do not. Also it'd be much cheaper.

Oh, and I got a 360 and Mass Effect yesterday. It's cool.

Apparently it also works with mirrors. Somehow. I'm thinking it probably works with ANY surface.

I've been playing the demo of The Witcher that released the other day. It contains the entire prologue and first act. So far I really like this game and now I'm definitely going to get the full game. You guys should try it out to.

(Yes, I am still alive and I didn't forget about this place)

I'm glad that most of us are still here. Still want to do something for Genesis, but I'm a lazy ass and it'll probably take a while. What's your gamertag, Twitch, if you have Live?

Witcher looks good, but my PC doesn't allow me to do much gaming.

Also, has anyone seen Carnivale? Fantastic show, along with Weeds. Too bad those HBO bastards shut down Carnivale. Hell, there's still open plot lines. What the hell, HBO? It's the best show ever. Everytime something 'different' shows up, it gets it's ass kicked on TV. Damn you critics!

God damn. I just got the Dreaded Red Ring of Death. Oddly though, I turned my Xbox off and back on, and they were gone. Played a bit, turned it off. Returned two hours later, and it's fully into Red Ring mode, can't play it at all. I'm gonna try the 'Towel Trick'. It sounds insane, but apparently it works. You cover your 360 in towels and turn it on for 15 minutes. Then you turn it off and let it cool for another 15. Then it apparently works again. Let's see how this goes.

So that didn't work. However, I did call up the Xbox help line, and I must say, I am very impressed with their customer service. It's fantastic. I wasn't even put on hold.

I personally don't like the Witcher that much, it's alright, but not great.

@Oath: my gamertag is twitchmonkey1 (some bastard always steals twitchmonkey). I'm afraid of that red ring, but eh, a few weeks without the 360 is livable.

I completed Mass Effect and I've been playing a lot of Puzzle Quest. I think it's a really good investment for $12 if you like puzzle games at all, plus it has multiplayer.

I fixed it temporarily with the towel trick, though I think I'll still send it off for repairs.

I take it back, the towel trick is awesome. Fixes it everytime. Too bad it's not permanent.

Just bite the bullet and send it in, the towel trick takes too much effort to do constantly.
