Yes, Tomb of Horrors (ToH). Don't go all ninja.gif on me, you big babies.

For those of you who don't know, ToH is a D&D adventure created by Gary Gygax himself way back in 1st Edition. It's widely known as one of the most sadistic dungeons ever created. So, naturally, I'm going to run it.

Rulez and Infoez

1. Don't metagame.

2. Rolls will be handled through Invisible Castle.

3. Use an online character sheet program, such as Myth-Weavers.

4. Roll 4d6b3 for stats. This means that you roll 4 dice, then, take the best 3 rolls, and add those together. Do this six times, and arrange those six numbers as you like for your stats. (You need to link to your stats on IC, by the way)

5. Standard WBL (36,000), plus 5,000 gold, so 41,000 gp. In addition, you each'll get two mystery items. Which I'll talk about later.

6. EXP will not be used for this. Though there'll probably be a level up halfway through.

7. Don't worry about backstory, unless you really want to.

8. 4-6 players.

9. HAVE FUN

10. You will die.

So...

Guessing everyone starting at Level 1?

I'm in, by the way. Halfling Rogue.

EDIT: Heh, I think I'm playing around a bit too much with Invisble Castle. Give me a bit.

I'm in.

Human Assassin.

Tarrche Brigandier

I'll get my character sheet up before Tuesday (I have a busy weekend ahead of me.)

I played ToH a LONG time ago, back when the 2nd edition was out of a boxed set. It was hard as hell but I can't remember much beyond that so there won't be any meta gaming from me.

I'm looking forward to this . . .

Stat roll for "Dair"

Mostly done character sheet. Still working on a few things

It took me a while to get used to how IC works, so I fucked up a good few rolls. I saw a great one come up, took my time and made sure I got it right, though.

Actually, level 9. I know this because Tyler knows this. Err... I mean because I was on Yaplet last night when he cooked this up. Also, 36000 is the standard WBL for 9th level characters.

EDIT: Also, easy way to generate stats on IC is here.

EDIT2: Can I run a Tome of Battle or other nonstandard character?

Titles? I scoff at titles! I pay no attention to detail! And furthermore, I expect to live a long and glorious time in this tomb!

Nine levels would let me build a pixie musketeer. Can I have a pixie musketeer?

Am I allowed to use an Alternate Fighter Base Class, specifically the Exoticist?

EDIT: I rolled HP for Level 9, if that is where we're starting.

Rolled six levels of rogue and two of fighter.

Roll(6d6)+0:
5,5,4,5,6,5,+0
Total:30

Roll(2d10)+0:
6,2,+0
Total:8

With my first level rogue giving me 6, that's 44 total HP at level 9.
