1. All in-character posts are to be well-written. This means you must minimize the number of spelling errors you have, use correct grammar and punctuation, and put adequate effort into each post.
Adequate effort is defined as ensuring each post has a general fluidity and sense of style. While we do not impose arbitrary rules, your post should be at least two or three paragraphs (or about 15 sentences) of narration (not dialog). We appreciate conciseness, but less than this, it is very difficult to produce a solid post. We do encourage you to use as much space as is necessary to make a great post, so keep in mind that this is a minimum and you are free (and perhaps even encouraged) to write more - much more if necessary. However, please note that we do not want you to just drag your post on indefinitely. Quality, not quantity, should be the motivation.

2. Treat all your fellow roleplayers with respect. Learn to differentiate in-character with out-of-character. Your characters may hate each other in the game, but out-of-character, it's expected that everyone feels welcome. You may not particularly like a person, but do not flame, troll, or otherwise be a jerk towards someone else.

3. Do not harass any members. This includes PM, email, instant messaging, or through posts. If someone expresses no interest in speaking to you, please do not continue to send messages.

4.Be proactive. It's critical to the plot that you are active; and not only active, proactive. Feel free to make your own threads and to push the envelope. The magic word is tantamount. If you have a position of importance, or if you play a character of note, you should be active enough to ensure that the threads you are participating in go to completion. There is nothing more annoying than a lot of wasted potential in the form of incomplete threads.

5. Do not advertise on the site.In your profile there is a specifi spot for a URL. That is the only place that another sites URL may be found unless posted by myself or another Admin

6. Registration does require that you use a first and last name. Your name must be acceptable, unobtrusive, and unobnoxious. It must be attributable to your character in that it is one of the following:
--The character's full name.
--Part of the character's name, such as a first or middle name. Only do this with recognizable and/or unique parts.
--A derivation or diminutive of the character's name, like Addison.
--A nickname of the character that is labeled in the application.
---This means that we should not see any numbers, underscores, or random words in your username, as it is highly unlikely those are in the names of your character.

7. Participate. If you are unsure how to jump in, ask an administrator. It is your responsibility as a roleplayer to make sure the realm goes. This means it is up to you to get involved. Do not be overwhelmed; it is critical that you engage yourself.
