Finally the moment Benoit had been waiting for. Not only had he seen both his sisters leave home before him but he was stuck with his brother all alone at home without his sisters. Especially with what happened at Eric's graduation the relations had been all tensed up between each other.

Though all of this could be erased away. That was the past; right now was the present. He was moving in with Damien one of his best buds from childhood. Even if he was a year older then Benoit. He didn't really care. The rent between both of them would be less and Benoit would certainly be able to pay with the job he had gotten as Bartender at one of the most popular clubs.

His sisters had pass earlier to drop a few things before they headed home to do their own things. He didn't blame them; who wanted to help his younger brother or twin and his friend to move in?

Right now it was freedom. His smile on his face. No more curfew or stupid rules his parents implemented on him. He was free to do what he wanted and eat what he wanted. Sure there would be a few rules in the appartment so it wouldn't be chaos but apart from that both were old enough to know what to do and not to do.

"Well I guess this is the last box?"

Damien tapped a box in front of him with his wand and its sealed tightly with a quiet 'zip!' He had been helping Benoit pack all day it seemed, and as it was fun seeing as it was with one of his closest friends, it was equally tiring due to...obvious reasons. Benoit didn't know how to pack light.

"It better be, kid," he said, turning around to face him and sitting on the box he had just sealed, "We've been here since morning. Its almost 3. And by the time we get done apparating all of this junk its gonna be 3:05." He smirked at that. He wasn't really complaining. Just the urge to get to his new home was to compelling.

A new home. Not like the half broken to pieces one he had with his mom, but one that he would want to return to after work. One where he would sit in the living room and not hide away in his room for uncountable hours. A place to relax with someone he loved like a brother he never had.

He could already picture his room...

"Any last goodbyes to this grand room? So many memories," He said in a mock sad voice. Yet his words were true. This room did contain a lot of memories for both of them.

Last goodbyes to this room? He had done them a while ago. He just wanted to leave this place for good. No more seeing his damn brother Eric. No more his father who was so proud of Eric. He hated the fact that all the males in his family were jerks. Though his sisters and mother was awesome. So were his aunts. This house was good, comfortable but unliveable in it because of the people living in it.

"I'm definitely done. I said all my good-byes and we can now go to our freedom."

Damien was like the brother he wanted to have. Not that jerk Eric. A guy who you had fun with and that didn't pick on you for nothing. Damien had been his friends for so long. Even if they didn't go to the same wizard school they still were best friends. He didn't mind. Damien was the door to his freedom. The door to being away from his brother and father. Being his own boss. Something that he had never been before now.

"You ready to go?"

Damien raised an eyebrow in question. Well that was fast, he thought. He knew that Benoit wasn't exactly the greatest fan of his home either but even he had had a bit more of an emotional departure from his room. That little place was like his bomb shelter and he honestly did miss it...A little. It was strange how people could live somewhere for so long and grow to hate it and practically crave to go anywhere else. Look at them. They were slobbering over the concept of the apartment like dogs over steak.

"Been ready for too long," He said almost solemnly. He slid back onto the square of boxes he had formed earlier, trying to make contact with all of them. He could tell this was going to be a draining apparation. He was going to need some major food supply afterwards...Crap, do I even have food in the fridge?

"First one to get there is awesome. One, tw-," and then with a pop from nowhere he was gone.

Definitely what he would have awaited from typical Damien. Leaving before the three and go. Letting out a small laugh before moving over to his pile of boxes. He took one last glance at this room that had been his room for 20 years now. It was probably time though to move on.

Giving one last breath before leaving with a sound the room. He was finally free. He soon found himself in what was their appartment. Their new home; their freedom. A few feet to the left was Damien and his pile of boxes.

Looking down at his pile making sure he hadn't forgotten any back in his room. They seemed all there; which was good news. He wouldn't need to go back. His mom was probably looking at the empty room right now.

"Did you forget any boxes?"

If Damien did; he was the one who would need to go and get them.

Damien glared at him through the slit of his eyes as he gulped down a bottle of water. He was right. That was a tiring ride.

"No I didn't forget one of your precious boxes," he said, pausing his drinking, "Whats all in there anyway? Hair gel?" He snickered to himself on that one. He loved poking fun at Benoit, and he loved even more how he took it so well. Some people couldn't take a joke, but Benoit could do that and even give him back some. It was a great way to keep him on his toes. Not that he really needed to be an expert on witty conversation for the job he had.

Finishing off the bottle he tossed it away. Walking out of their cozy kitchen and into Benoit's room he could see he was already beginning to unpack. All that was in it was a bed and a dresser. Looking at the amount of boxes he had, it'd be home in no time. Bending over to one of them, he tapped it twice with his pointer finger, and the invisible adhesive vanished. Opening the box his sight met only clothes. Shirts, Shirts, and more Shirts.

He could only shake his head.

Benoit didn't mind Damiens joke. He barely cared; it just put more fun in their friendship. If they weren't able to take the jokes from one another they wouldn't have been friends this long.

Moving over to what would be his room. Damn was he happy about it. Having his room in his appartment. This would be his private haven in time of needs. Where he could pass time doing his own things without having people jumping in to surprise.

He let out a small laugh when all Damien saw were shirts, shirts and more shirts.

"A guy hot like me; needs more then one pair of shirt and what did you bring in your so outnumbered boxes?"

It was true. Anybody would say the same. Benoit had way more boxes then Damien. Though he didn't care. It made less to unpack and pack. Benoit had already started unpacking his shirts and putting them in his dresser. He wanted to have everything unpacked by tonight. This way his room would be a liveable place to sleep and all.

Damien stretched out a foot on one of Benoit's trips to his closet. Unfortunately he caught on to early and hovered right over. Damien smirked; it was worth a try.

"Much better clothes than you have, and just the necessities. Not everything I ever had in my previous room. I thought we were separating ourselves from our previous lives, kid," he looked around at the sea of brown boxes in front of him, "Guess someone just didn't wanna be homesick." He teased further as he placed a few more of the shirts on his bed.

"And also I have no idea what 'hot guy' you're referencing. Cause I'm the only one in this place, sorry." He gave him his devilish grin. He did so enjoy the witty banter that ensued between the two. He had this kind of friendship with no one else, and he was grateful for it. It made theirs even more unique and special to him.

Benoit continued to put his shirts in the drawers. Not all of these boxes were filled with clothes. Some were filled with presents from his sisters and mother. His father and brother were too ignorant to even think about giving gifts.

"Nah I won't be homesick. You see I have stuff in some of these boxes that are needed for my personal sake. I don't want to go crazy. I mean what would this place be without my stereo and whatelse. I ain't gonna pass my nights playing cards with you."

Taking an empty box; with all of his force he threw it in Damien direction. This was meant to be friendly no harm was wanted in this action. He used to do this alot when his brother wasn't a prick. Though that was long ago. Now Damien had taken his place and he was happy about it. No more did Benoit have to care about his brother.

"Also, some of these boxes contain what I will use to play tricks on you."

Not saying more; he just wanted to make Damien interested in his boxes. Though they didn't really contain things to do jokes. On the other hand one box that Benoit had taken care of immediately when they arrived was filled with fireworks. You never knew when it could be useful for a party and what not. Especially they were on the top floor. Good view for shooting at the sky.

Damien raised an outstretched palm out at the incoming box. He began to slowly form it into a fist and as he did so the box began to fold itself into its original state; a flat piece of cardboard. Dropping his hand, the box dropped too, making way for his evil glare towards Benoit.

"Cute, kid. Real cute," He said with a smirk on his face. The little one year difference between them would have its advantages, "And no wild tricks Ben, or you might find yourself dangling over that patio." He nodded towards the small porch that they had. Being on the top floor, it provided quite a view of the hyperactive city below them. It made him feel like he had some power...like he was in control.

"So, when are we having our first wild, crazy party?!" He asked as he threw himself onto Ben's bed; stretching himself out and making sure he was comfortable. His hands rested behind his head, and his long legs practically touched the end of the bed. He gave Ben his most fake smile as if he was completely innocent.

Benoit turned around with a smile. Not really caring what Damien did next. He needed to get these boxes unpacked. Before they could do anything; he wanted to have a living area.

"Damn before we have any parties we need to know people and have this place liveable. Maybe you should stop being lazy and help unpack stuff or go unpack your stuff."

Saying the last words with a nice smile on his face. He loved joking around; it made unpacking less boring. He soon crouched down and came back up. A volleyball in his hand. This was given to him by Fleur. She said it could come useful when going at the beach or something. Volleyball sure was a none dangerous sport to play. Not like Quidditch; maybe he would pay himself a ticket to the stadium that was located in the middle of the city.

Damien mimicked Benoit as he talked. Scrunching his face up and wagging his finger like an annoyed mother. Ben didn't notice, but that's what made it funny in the first place. He hoped Benoit wouldn't be one of those really picky roomates. Damien wasn't a slob at all, but he wasn't one to keep his room as clean as a whistle either..

"Hey kid if you didn't notice, I only have one box left, cause I only brought so many! Unlike you who brought the whole fricken' house with 'em!" He retorted. Maybe he was exaggerating a bit, but damn, the kid had brung a lot. He hadn't performed such a tiring apparation since he first began to learn it.

"I think we need to throw one though...A housewarming party, if you will. Cause I just like to know who I'm living with, and if there's any...let's call em...possibilities."

He gave Benoit a quick wink. He knew what he meant. There wasn't ever much else on his mind.

Benoit was too busy placing his things properly in his dresser to see what Damien was doing behind him. Though whatever he was doing was probably not a bad thing. He didn't care what Damien could do. The only difference was that neither had seen the other use offensive magic before. Both going at different schools meant they were taught differently.

"Ok, will hold a party as soon as this place is liveable. Also if we do throw a party. I don't want my room becoming the place for lets say your possible action. As we all know my room is gonna be the best looking."

Benoit was used to having everything clean. Though usually his dressers weren't. All he loved keeping clean was what people could and would normally see by glancing. So that meant the floor, the shelves and his bed. Other from this he barely kept anything clean and organised. This was the way he had been raised.

Damien rolled his eyes at Ben. Of course he had to be the mischievous one right? Well, it wasn't like it was a lie. Between the two of them it was always Damien who had created and taken them through dangerous and rule-breaking adventures as kids. And now that they were older it could only get worse because less was off-limits. Oh, the possibilities.

"Believe me, I wouldn't use this bed. To rough. Have fun getting any of this 'action' on that," he intimidated with a light punch to the shoulder to add more to the effect.

"And how long will it take for this place to be livable? My side is perfect, now yours on the other hand," he turned back to see the few boxes he still had, "Might be a while."

ooc: bleh shortness.

Benoit didn't care of Damiens comments. His bed was good and comfortable compared to that hideous bed of his. Feeling the little punch from Damien on his shoulder. If the guy wanted to have a fun little fight he wasn't going to get it. Atleast not now with all the boxes filled with precious things.

"Oh yeah I forgot girls love old rags that make a bed instead of a true bed."

This sentence coming out in a playful tone. The meaning of it was quite mean but Benoit hadn't used a serious tone neither did he meant it. Damien would probably know that it was just a joke. After all they had spent so much time togethier that whatever one said it couldn't really affect one another.
