Kindlee looked over at her traveling companion, Morgana, who was chattering on and on about her other student, Sidney, who was also at Horizon. Kindlee just nodded. It was all too much for her to take in. Her ankle dislocating, being in the dilapidated trailer for days before somebody found her, the hospital, the screaming, the court-appointed attorney, the judge, and now being on a plane to someplace far away. She wiped away a tear and looked at the tray in front of her. Ravenous, she had already ate everything, including the sprig of parsley placed there for decoration.
A few hours later they were in a car, headed into the woods. Well, woods weren't so bad, but they weren't her familiar swamps. She'd have to get used to them. After her ankle healed of course. They told her to stay off of it as much as possible. Hah! Like Kindlee would follow that order. She pulled her sweater closer as Morgana pulled up to a wooden structure. "Here, we are, Kindlee," she said.
Kindlee awkwardly got out of the car, and stared around the place. She quietly accepted the suitcase and backpack that Morgana handed her. She hadn't owned one before, so she didn't know where they came from. Probably the church second-hand shop. Kindlee had a lot of clothes from there over the years she had spent with the Quebedouxs.
Morgana hugged her and went off to look for Sidney, while Kindlee found the door and knocked. She quickly sat down as her foot was throbbing a little. She waited for someone to answer.

Sophie had been reading over the file of her newest admit a Miss Kindlee. She loved the name it was so unquie. So she was just finishing some last and final adjustments to her office, as she walked out, she approached, the outside to her office, and walked outdoors.
Finally she walked back and forth her hands together and moved around, and around in circles. She was nervous, she wondered if she would be able to help her out now.

Kindlee looked up expectantly when the adult female approached. She really wanted to lay down badly and put her foot up, but knew she had to go through the admit process. At least she was concious this time. She gave a small hopeful smile at the lady.

"Hey there, you want to come inside and we can get your admit underway, I promise this won't take long Kindlee." Sophie smiled as she looked at the young girl. She wanted this place to feel like hom to Kindlee, hopefully it would, and she would be able to make some friends.

Kindlee nodded and awkwardly stood up to follow her inside. She was wanting to catch up with Sidney too, as she remembered her from a few years back. "Yes, Ma'm," she said automatically, her voice thick with the Cajun browl. "Your office sounds bon to me."
Trying not to limp badly, she walked slowly behind the woman.

"Very Well." She smiled as she led the girl now to the office. She opened the door and then watched Kindlee for a moment. "You can have a seat anywhere, Couch, Chair, It doesn't matter." She smiled at the girl, as she went and pulled out the file that was Kindlee's.
Sophie sat down at the edge of the desk and waited for a moment.

Kindlee cautiously entered the room. She decided on the chair as the couch looked like it would be too hard to get out of. She winced when she bumped her foot on the rung underneath the chair. Looking around the room, she studied the various objects. Sophie looked as organized at the Quebedouxs, which made her wary.

Sophie looked at Kindlee hoping to help this girl out. But she could tell this girl seemed a bit scared of her. "Kindlee, you have nothing to worry about with being here, so don't you worry." She explained as she watched the young girl now. She just wanted to help her out, wanted to help her find the answers.
