[Lucy Raven Malfoy]

I need to get out, get away from all this mess, was the only thing that Lucy Raven Malfoy was thinking at the moment. She couldn't believe the mess she had gotten herself, Draco, and Harry into. Instead of gold, everything she touched turned to hell and she was tired of it. Ever since she had told the boys that she'd go with Harry, all she could think about was Draco, and comparing everything Harry did to everything Draco had done. So she walked to the place where her and Draco had talked about him proposing to her the night he did propose. It wasn't the spot that had all the memories, but it still held quite a few, very good memories.

She started pacing around a little clearing, not really noticing any animals or anything that came around, and occasionally almost running into a few trees or tripping over their roots.

Lucy was just thinking of the best spell. Everyone knew she was against the unforgivables so that was a 'definatly not', and cutting was out because it was messy. The only two ways she could think of being alone was running away, which was out as soon as she thought of it, and putting herself in a coma. When she had fallen off a tree she only got amnesia, so that didn't work, so Lucy was pacing, thinking of a spell, not noticing the footsteps coming from somewhere close.

[Jasper Riddle]

"Hello?" Jasper said curiously. Someone was dangerously close to his hide out and he didn't want anyone finding it. He had to protect his property. He saw a new girl he'd never seen before. He was hit by her emotions and she was very distressed. "What's up? Are you... never mind. I know you're not alright. Can I be of assistance?"

[Lucy Raven Malfoy]

Hearing someone within the same area, Lucy gave a little jump. "Oh...um..hi. Sorry, I didn't see you there." It was as if her mind had left her and she had no idea of anything. "I-I'm fine. Just need to...get away." She sighed. "I'm Lucy, by the way. Lucy...Malfoy." She wasn't sure what to use as her last name, not knowing what was going on anymore. "Do I...know you?" It was obvious that she wasn't alright, but the girl would never admit to that.

[Jasper Riddle]

"No," Jasper told her. "I'm new here. My name is Jasper. Jasper..." he didn't want to disclose his last name, but he knew he should. "Riddle. You don't sound so sure of your own last name." He looked at her, a bit confused. Then he commented, "You're distressed. Why? Fancy a talk about it or would you rather I leave...?" H eknew he couldn't leave the poor girl in this state, but maybe he could bring someone to her who could help.

She stopped to think for a minute. “Riddle...Oh..” Lucy semi-ly wanted to back away with all the dark-arts and stuff her father use to use on her, but he obviously wasn't a threat, so she pushed the thought aside. “You had to pause for your last name too.” She spit back. “Sorry, I'm just confused right now, a lots been going on.” Luc sighed. “One: if you leave, you might have two guys after you for what I was thinking about doing to myself, and two: either way, I don't want to talk about it. Although I will talk 'friendly' if you want.” She said, sitting down on a big boulder.

[Jasper Riddle]

"You're a real spitfire aren't you?" Jasper smirked. "But I've got better things to do then sit here and get snapped at. I've had enough of it - I came here to get away from it. I can't only talk "friendly". It's not exactly my nature. And I'll have you know that if you were Voldemort's own flesh and blood you'd despise your last name too." Jasper sighed. "If you don't want my help, ok then. I only came over here because I though you might want it. Since you don't, I'll see you later." He began walking off through the woods, cursing emo girls.

[Lucy Raven Malfoy]

“I wasn't saying anything against your flesh and blood. My...father couldn't be more devoted to the Dark Lord if he were the Dark Lord himself! Grow up with someone like that and you wouldn't like who you were either.” Lucy said, not too mean, but not exactly nice. “And obviously talking 'friendly' isn't something I do either, I was just trying to be nice, but maybe that was just another mistake.” She knew she seemed like a b***h when she first met someone, but either whoever she talked to ended up hurting her, or she somehow managed to hurt them, and she didn't like either of those thoughts. So, in order to protect herself and others, she pushed them away, hurting both, but not as much as if she would have been hurt if she actually started to care. “Answer me this question. You don't even know me, so why would you want to help me?” Lucy stood up, finally putting her wand back in her pocket, and took a few steps in the direction that Jasper had started walking in.

[Jasper Riddle]

"My father IS the bloody dark lord. How do you think I feel?" He shot back. He felt sorry for the girl, but she was so snippy without cause. That's half the reason he'd left Durmstrang. He glared at and stopped walking. "I want to start undoing all my father did one person at a time I want to help as many people as he killed. It'll give some purpose to my accursed life. If he can single handedly destroy the world then I can single handedly rebuild it."

[Lucy Raven Malfoy]

“I know that! And it's because of your father that my father killed my mother!” Lucy spit back at him, before looking away. “I'm sorry. I didn't mean to be so mean, its just habit.” Then she paused. “Your father didn't destroy it single handedly, he did have help, or Death Eaters. So if you need help...I may act like a b***h, but I'm really not one.” She figured that she could trust him, maybe not as a really good friend yet, but at least enough so she wouldn't bite his head off.

[Jasper Riddle]

"You could've fooled me," he replied sarcastically. "Whatever your bloody family did is it's own fault. Your dad wasn't forced to be a death eater - no one was. If he snapped under pressure, well, that sucks. I don't have ANY family. They're all gone. At least YOU have friends and people who love you. YOU have a place to call home. People don't look at you as the scum of the earth. You think you've got it so bad... try living my life for a day." Jasper was so pissed. When he got angry he always snapped at people. He realized what he was doing and darted off, making an unhuman jump into a tree, and settling down onto a branch.

Lucy glared at him. She came out here to be alone, and to knock herself unconscious, but that didn't seem to be what was going to happen. “Your father would torture people to follow them, and if they didn't follow him he'd kill them! So obviously my father had no other choice! He used to love my mum then he just killed her! And your saying that just happened naturally!!!” She tried holding back the tears, but it had been a while since had thought of the blinding green light and her mothers petrified face. “You're saying I'm so happy? If I were I wouldn't be out here trying to find a way out of this life! I'll gladly trade with you any day!” Luc stood there, a few tears escaping and falling down her face as she clutched her hands into fists, trying not to grab her wand and run until she was so far in the forest she'd be lost, and no one would ever hear her scream, or find her body. Maybe that would work. Hmm...

[Jasper Riddle]

"You're father became a death eater on his own will. Of course there were threats made, but no one was forced. The death eaters forced people to join, not MY father. They ran of their own will, he just watched. If your father killed your mum then he probably had a good reason. She was most likely a bitch as well. My father didn't tell anyone to desert their partner - just look at the Malfoys! If your mum went against your father, it was her bloody own fault." Then he smirked at Lucy. "You'd like to trade would you? Alright. I can handle a murdered mum and a father in Azkaban. I can handle a heart broken by ONE boy. I see what your problem is Lucy Raven Knox - you can't accept the fact that there may be someone worse off then you. I know you aren't happy, but you've gotta take you head outta your ass and lok at everyone else who's suffereing. You aren't the only one with problems. My father murdered half the wizarding world and now I have to pay the price! There's always someone worse off then you Lucy. How can you be SO BLOODY CONCEITED?!?" Jasper yelled in his full power. If he burst the girls ear drums then so be it. Jasper jumed out of the tree threw large boulder threw several trees. He punched an oak tree through with his fist. He looked back to Lucy, his eyes deep red. She looked so terrified that it stunned him. He'd never done that to anyone before. "No. NO!! It's happening already. NOOO!" He screamed. "I won't be my father. I won't!!" He sank to the ground, sobbing.

Ok, now Lucy was way past pissed. "Don't you DARE say anything about my mother. She was a great woman...even if she was a muggle! Hmm..wouldn't that do it for your father, for one of his followers to be with a muggle, and have two kids. But no, he killed his wife and new son. You don't even know me, or my family. And my father isn't in Azkaban! He wiggled his way out of it, and I had to pay that price! Growing up thinking your a muggle, not knowing about what you truly are, or how it is your father causes such immense pain you can't even breath!" She hissed. The memories were too much for her, and Jasper had to insult her mother, that was WAY too much. "But yes, I have accepted that fact, I just don't like to acknowledge it, surely you understand. You say how unhappy you are, do you really wanna believe that someone is hurting? If you did then that wouldn't be too nice. "So, your mum died and your father is pretty much the most feared wizard and everyone fears you for your name..why don't you just change your name? Either way, if someone can't get past the fact that you're a Riddle, then obviously they wouldn't care enough, since they didn't care enough to know the real you. It shows you who true friends could actually be! It shows you who cares about you enough to stand beside you."

When he started throwing the rocks and all Lucy was shocked and backed away until Jasper calmed down. "You...you're a vampire..." She said softly. Midori was a vampire, Sam was a vampire, Belletrix was a vampire, yet they didn't freak her out...then again none had ever gone off and threw a tantrum. Then she smirked. "I thought your father didn't force anyone to be a death eater, that it was their own free will. So don't blame your him for this." She crossed her arms, knowing she was making him mad, but she didn't care in the slightest.

[Jasper Riddle]

"Yeah, I lived like that to. If your mum was a muggle, then she was obviously either very gullible or liked to run on the dark side. People get what comes to them and some pay the ultimate price. That's what's called karma. You think you're the only one who's been abused? You're right I don't know you, but I know that there are people way worse off then you, and probably someone who's worse off then even I am. But it seems that SOME of us only want to focus on our own problems and not even bother with another's suffering. Look, I'm sorry for what your bloody dad did, really, I am, but your mum's dead now and your dad will get locked up again eventually so get bloody over it!!" He sobbed. "Why do you act like this... like your the only one who's problems matter in the world? If harry had acted like that, we wouldn't even be having this conversation. We'd be DEAD!"

He glared at her. "I don't blame my father for my problems. If I turn into what he was that's MY doing. But I won't be him! Never. If I was, I would have already ripped your head off in a clean break... like a hot knife through butter."

[Lucy Raven Malfoy]

Lucy really didn't want to have this conversation. “Say one more word about my mother and I swear I'll make your life here a living hell.” She hissed, walking over to where he was. “You've known me for not even an hour, so who are you saying I'm conceited and only care about my problems? Obviously I can't be too bad cause I do have friends, people I care for. But when someone calls my mum a bitch, and says she deserved to have been murdered like that, I tend to not care about them!” She paused and took a deep breath, not really sure what to say. “You came over to me, asking if I wanted help, I said no, that I was fine and said let's talk 'friendly' but that wasn't enough for you. Maybe then we could have avoided this! How's that for conceited? Trying to avoid yelling and crap!”

[Jasper Riddle]

"If your mum was fool enough to stay with your dad, it's her fault. Many muggles run away from death eaters and live. My life already is hell and you can't make it worse. At least I can find love and not forfeit it by sleeping around! If you wanted to talk friendly you wouldn't have provoked me the way you did. I'll be as nice as you want me to be, and as mean as you treat me. It's your choice."

[Lucy Raven Malfoy]

“My mum didn't know. It wasn't her fault, he never told her! She didn't know witches and wizards were real, it wasn't her fault!” She defended her mother. “Me, sleeping around? No, actually I don't sleep around. Two guys only, not that it's your business. Then fine, let's be nice to each other, shall we.” Lucy smirked before actually giving a small, half-fake, smile.

[Jasper Riddle]

Jasper could tell she wasn't exactly sincere. "Only if you can be real. I read emotions, you know. It's common among vampires - some more then others."

[Lucy Raven Malfoy]

"Yea, I know. Any inhanced sense you have as a human is brought over to you when you become a vampire. I know." She said. "And sorry. We didn't start off to well, so pardon me for not being too friendly now." Lucy actually meant that.

[Jasper Riddle]

"It's alright." He sighed. "I'm sorry I insulted your mum. That wasn't fair of me. I'm sure she was a wonderful woman... and seeing your personality I can tell she fought hard to keep going. So, let's start over then - pretend it didn't happen. I'm good at erasing memories. My name's Jasper Riddle. And you?" He stuck his hand out.

[Lucy Raven Malfoy]

"I didn't really know her. But yes, she was a fighter." lucy sighed. "Starting over would be good." She then nodded. "I'm Lucy. Lucy malfoy. How do you like it here so far?" Now she was being friendly, now that the yelling and all was done and over with.

[Jasper Riddle]

"It's alright. Just a lot different from Durmstrang. A lot nicer crowd here to. You really have to have a certain personality for that school - and I'm guessing it's the same at Beaux Batons, and I wouldn't conform. But it's real wonderful, I like it already. I have to make the best of it - it's my new home," he sighed. "Do you like it?"

[Lucy Raven Malfoy]

"You came from Durmstrang?" Lucy stopped to think for a second. "Hmm...interesting. But yes, the people here are really nice. It's as if we're all in the same house, except to a few people." She paused again. "I have a question; How did you know my maiden name?" When he first said it she was too pissed to ask the question, but now things have calmed down she was curious.

[Jasper Riddle]

He smirked. "Sort of a mind reader," he told her. "Not everything, and only when I try to - but I can read thoughts...pasts."

[Lucy Raven Malfoy]

"So it's kind of like Occlumency whatever the other thing is that starts with an L." Draco had told her the difference between the two, but she forgot. "That's cool though. Probably comes in handy." She said.
