Title: Expand Yoku?
Description: a poll on languages

Fiore1300 - January 12, 2011 11:20 PM (GMT)
So I was looking at language creator tools, and that got me to wondering if we wanted to expand the Yoku language for Hammerfell. Of course, my major worry would be keeping a Yoku language as close to the one lore (how ever minimally) presents to us. I'd be willing to mess around with creating words, symbols, and tenative grammar, but I'd need the help of those here on the forum to make sure the language maintains lore integrity.

Here's a list of known Yoku words, from the Imperial Library.

Sload did a grammar breakdown and quite a bit of dictionary. The relevant threads are available in the archive. I don't want to create a full language though, as we don't need it. Individual words and sentences can be made as we need them with an emphasis on what sounds best.

Oh, no way was I going to do a full language... hah!

But I'll take a look through the threads next time I'm willing. Then I'll add them to the list above and we'll go from there.
