Hello Guys n Galls, well i thought i'd try and help out all you fans out there by running a little Near x-mas comp and give out a free 1/100 kit to one of you lucky people. Though Free is never free is it:) I'm going to give you till the first week of February to submit one of the following, the best (and most likely funniest one) will win the prize and i'll sort out all the postage costs to boot!

Right you have to write or draw a short Gundam themed story based around the credit crunch. I just think that'd be ace, it can be a single panel drawing, a short story, a small manga or anything you wish really just don't go overboard. feel free to swap ideas or anything but my main suggestion is make it funny:)

I'll let you guys post your scans into me at a later date and we can all agree on a voting system for the winner, i.e. we can all view the work, or just leave it to me and the mods or anything you guys feel is fair. Oh and don't worry if you can't draw, the point is the quality of the scirpt, not just the artwork.

I've been thinking and lux and the admins feel that it could be unfair to enter as they are admins but i want as many people to enter(except myself of course), so what i'll do is probably select the winner myself based on what cracks me up the most and offer a smaller 1/144 as a prize for a group vote from the forum, what do you guys think, that way we can all get a laugh from everyones work and there are more prizes up for grabs?

Once we've made them what do we do with them?

Well it's good to hear it's still going. If anyone feels they need the deadline extended let me know, i'd like to get as many in as i can before the prize awarding goes out. Good luck again to you all and hopefully catch some of you at Telford Expo this weekend.

Ok well i am occasionally getting dribbles of replies back for this so i am officially extending the deadline to the end of this month. After that it's over, perhaps i should emphasize the single panel drawings as that seems the most popular way to go. The winner will get sent a mystery 1/100 kit to their home address free of charge and hopefully like it:) I picked a simple single panel drawing that was ace and made me laugh, as i said it didn't have to be epic and well drawn so without much futher ado the winner is . . . . snoops619!
