overall personality: Delilah has always been very loving. She loves to make people feel safe, secure, and wanted, and to take care of them in their time of need. It isn't a trait she developed over time, either. She has always just been that way. That pull to make people feel better about themselves wasn't gained through any amount of trials of life. Lilah has just always wanted to love and be loved. Simple as that. How sensitive she is goes hand in hand with the love that is embedded deep in her heart. She is very aware of the feelings of others around her; she is almost hyperactively aware of them. Though her sensitivty doesn't just pertain to the people around her. Lilah herself is very sensitive about her own being. The slightest comment affects her in a very profound way, though she most likely won't show it; as long as she can help it that is. As always, there are just some things that she can't keep bottled up, and will usually end up telling someone despite her better judgment. So, obviously, she is very emotionally secretive. Delilah doesn't enjoy letting everyone know how she's feeling. Especially if its a very deep emotion such as love or depression. It's not that she doesn't trust those around her, its just for the fact that she feels bothersome if she tells anyone about her problems. So what usually happens is that she keeps her emotions completely stowed away until she absolutely has to vent. Which, really, isn't the best thing. An emotional tsunami is not the best choice after being completely dry for who knows how long. Luckily, she is slowly learning to open up before that happens.
Other than these, Delilah has many other traits that make up her personality. For instance, she is very brave. She isn't afraid to take on new things, no matter how different and untraditional they are. Though, of course, her being brave doesn't mean she doesn't have any fears. To the contrary. There are many things that scare her. But the fact that she can overcome those fears to live her life is the very reason why she is as brave as she is. Though, her bravery isn't always the best thing since, with her bravery, she has a tendency to be very reckless, and not being afraid of the consequences can sometimes be a problem. Especially when the person you are closest to is a bit.... childish. But she doesn't really see that her actions are very disruptive, no matter how hard others try to convince her of that. Which isn't very surprising since she has always been a bit stubborn. Delilah isn't persuaded of anything easily. Most of the time anyway. It's just that she always feels that she know best for herself, even if that isn't always the case. Of course, naturally, there are some subject on which she isn't completely adamant on- but still. For most subjects, she is completely stuck in her ways.
Yet, overall, Delilah is a loving, fun, and genuinely good intentioned person. But she is flawed, and she is human, and she does make many, many mistakes.
