overall personality:
To most of the world Kenneth Ulliel is considered a quiet, slightly unnerving man. Although he is always friendly, there seems to be something hiding behind his smile. In fact, there is a lot he keeps hidden. Although he claims to have been a pirate in the Homelands and that he’s been living in Texas for the last five years, he is actually Death itself. Most people, even if they don’t realize it, can sense who he is and are very cautious around him. He has a very dry and satirical sense of humor and enjoys playing with people’s head, especially his students.

It is common knowledge that Mr. Ulliel’s music class is a bit of a cake walk as long as you behave yourself. As long as things are going his way, Ken is very relaxed. When things don’t go the way he wants them to, tread carefully. After living for so many years, he truly believes that he knows best and than anyone who disagrees with him is wrong. He doesn’t listen to other people’s advice or admit when he’s wrong. On the flip side, he is very good at getting things done. Laziness is considered the greatest sin in his mind and he won’t stand for it from anyone.

Ken Ulliel is a very haunted man. After collecting the souls of the departed for centuries, it’s no wonder he is fairly depressed. A New World was exactly what he needed; he sees it as a second chance to live a new life and takes advantage of it every chance he gets. The only problem is that he is doesn’t know if he is still immortal. Death is his greatest fear and he is obsessive about his health. Although there seems to be a lot negative about him, Kenny is a good person at heart who has made mistakes that he can only try and fix.

overall history:
~The Homelands: Ken was known as Death, he was very close to his brother, Ole, but unhappy with his life over all. He was tired of being avoided by people and being the one to collect souls.
~The War: Truthfully, the only reason Ken fought in the war was to change people’s opinion of him. When it came to the point where people were leaving through portals he had to all but shove his brother through before going back for more children like he promised. At the last minute he managed to get into the New World, unknown to anyone else.
~The New World: In the New World, Kenneth quickly left Grimmtown where all other fables were staying and wandered south. He had enough of his own magic to create his own disguise and went from place to place gathering information on this new place and figuring out where he fit into it all. Only a few months ago he came back to New York, claiming to be a former member of Hook’s crew. Too ashamed to face his brother, but wanting to be close to him, he became the new music teacher at the school.
