overall personality: Back in the Homelands, Darcy always wanted to make a difference. and being with Jace allowed her to do that, somewhat. She was always kind and loving, trying her best to keep others happy and content. Darcy enjoyed helping people, it was her life calling. She learned young from her parents that working hard had its benefits and she puts her hard work towards school. She tries her best to keep her grades high and does well with it. On top of her grades, she holds a job at Shining Armour Music to help pay for various needs.
While Darcy makes friends easily, she can still be distant with them at times. She can withdraw into herself, especially when thinking of the Homelands or Jace. She can get depressed for extended amounts of time, during which all she will do is school, work, and writing. She can often be found late at night in the student common room, so she doesn't wake her roommate, just writing or reading. She will often lie about her feelings for Jace to her friends. Darcy also has somewhat of a temper, though it rarely erupts. It seemingly only appears when she is talking to Jace.

Jace was forever having nightmares, neither of us got sleep. After a year passed in the New World, Jace broke our relationship off. I moved in with Cally Kendra and Jace and I simply stopped talking. A couple years passed, and Jace tried getting back in touch with me. I...I just couldn't take it. All I did was yell at him during the times we spoke. It has been better lately, somewhat. There's been less yelling, but that's because we've learned to not see each other in private. Anyway, I've been just focusing on my studies and my job, hoping that will calm my mind."
