overall personality:
Back when she was Rapunzel in the tower, Adelaide found it easy to entertain herself. That still holds true today, despite the fact there's more to do in Grimmtown than the top of a tower. Adelaide often seems very child-like. Living by herself for a majority of her life didn't really allow her to mature. Sure she took care of herself from a very young age, but she never had to face real life. She never had children teasing her or adults scolding her. Mother Gothel had always treated her well until her last day in the tower.
Ada often seems spacey and out of it. She often gets distracted by little things and would much rather sit and read her romance novels than do anything productive. Adelaide is fascinated with voices and will often just sit and listen to people talk and not give any input until someone speaks to her. She does not like harsh words, whether or not they are spoken to her. She is not easy to anger though and most people will give up before they can make her angry.
Adelaide is a complete, hopeless romantic. She does nothing but read romance novels, wishing for a love like that to return to her life. Her separation from Kevin was upsetting, but she never became angry with him. Adelaide could not bring herself to be upset with him. Ada can be very naïve as well. She doesn't exactly understand how the world works, having never really been out in the real world back in the homelands. She doesn't understand how people can be evil and will usually avoid mean people the best she can.

overall history:
Before she was even born, Rapunzel was claimed by Mother Gothel after she found Abraham in her garden plucking rampion. When Rapunzel was born, Mother Gothel came and claimed her, much to the dismay of Rapunzel's parents. Mother Gothel built a tower with only a window near the top. It was here that Rapunzel grew up, seeing Mother Gothel only once each day.
Living up in a tower you cannot leave was a boring life for a little girl. Twelve years passed and the best Rapunzel could do to keep herself entertained was singing. She'd come to train her voice very well and that was how she would end up meeting her prince. One day, Mother Gothel left Rapunzel once again for the day. Not too long afterwards she heard the woman again and, assuming she had forgotten something, Rapunzel let her hair fall down again.
It came to her surprise that it was in fact not Mother Gothel but a strange man. He spoke to her friendly enough and she grew to love him. He asked her to marry him and she accepted immediately. She told him to bring a skein of silk with him each time he came and she would create a ladder so she could climb down and escape with him.
Several nights passed, the prince bringing her the silk every night. Rapunzel was not used to having secrets from Mother Gothel, and on accident let the secret of her prince slip from her lips. Mother Gothel grew angry and snipped Rapunzel's hair completely off. Mother Gothel left Rapunzel in the desert and returned to the tower to wait for the prince.
When the prince returned, Mother Gothel let down the hair and he climbed up. He was surprised to see the old woman instead of his beloved Rapunzel. once Gothel told him of Rapunzel's fate, he leaped from the tower, the thorns crowded around the bottom of the tower piercing his eyes and blinding him. He wandered for quite some time before coming back upon Rapunzel. Her tears of happiness to have her prince again brought back his sight. They returned to his home to prepare for their wedding.
Just days before their wedding, the Homeland Wars started. They escaped together to Grimmtown and upon arrival wished to be made young again and to have the scars from the prince's fall to be gone. They claimed new names to leave their sorrowful past behind and start fresh. Kevin realized that what he felt for Adelaide was not true love, just merely his first love. Much to Adelaide's sorrow, they broke off everything, their engagement, their romance. They agreed that they could be friends and went on to their own paths. Adelaide's hair grows several inches each day and the only one she lets cut it, let alone touch it, is Kevin.

Isadora arched a brow at him. "It better be, Mr. Poe. I can't have these kids thinking I'm one of those softy teachers. That's when you get eaten alive." She offered in a joking tone. Markus couldn't help but laugh again. He felt so comfortable around her all of the sudden, it was nice. It was definately a turn around from his usual time spent with his brothers. Maybe he should get out of the house more often? It would do him some good to be around others closer to his age for a little while. Isadora shook her head, chuckling. He grinned at her.
Isadora glanced around looking for Edolie. Markus followed her gaze. It was not like Edie to allow someone to go hungry and thirsty. Isadora turned back to him suddenly and began speaking, her tone still somewhat awkward. "So uh, my job can I have its interesting quirks. I'm sure is not lacking in them as well. Whats it like to work at the 1001 Nights?" She asked. Oh, well Markus had never really been asked that question. He wasn't exactly known as the friendliest bartender, but he worked hard and he was good at his job. That was probably the only reason Mr. Larame kept him around. "It's a pretty decent job, I suppose. It gets really busy. No one really sits around and chats at the bar. It really isn't a place I would personally go to hang out, but it pays the bills. That's what matters the most for me right now I suppose." Markus offered.
Markus offered Isadora a smile before looking back towards the counter. He wanted to go up and get a cup of coffee, maybe splurge and grab some sort of pastry. He didn't want to just leave Isadora here by herself. He started to offer that he'd go up to get her something too, but the cell phone in his pocket rang. He pulled it out and checked the number. It was home calling. Markus had made a deal with the boys, phones or television. That was all he could afford, one or the other. They all chose to get their own phones. That was fine with Markus. As long as they didn't run up the phone bill. He already had to confiscate Corbin's for a month. "Excuse me please." He offered, standing and moving a few steps away from the table before answering the phone. He spoke briefly and hung up. Returning to the table he offered an apologetic smile. "I apologize for leaving so soon, but apparently the toilet's broken. I really have to go, I'll see you around?" He asked. He offered an awkward smile before moving towards the door. As Markus pushed through the door, the bell tinkling above him, he scolded himself for saying "I'll see You around".
