"Well, I suppose I could tell you a little bit about myself. I'm the eldest of my brothers and probably the most stressed. I'm the only one with a job in my house, so I have all the responsibility. I don't hate my job, necessarily, I just wish the pay was better. I like the New World, I miss the Homelands, but there's alot more oppurtunity for my brothers here.
I like people, usually. In my line of work I tend to see the stupid side of people more often, but most of my customers are decent. Life coiuld be better for all of us, but I'm doing my best. I guess I'm a bit jaded because of everything that's happened. I'm trying my best. I hope my brothers understand the meaning of hard work when they get out into the world.
Outside of work and my worries, I'm a pretty decent guy. I like relaxing, I don't like going out to bars or clubs often. I just want to relax, you know? I work so hard trying to make enough money to support my brothers that it's hard to find time to relax. I'm not really that great in the love department, I haven't really had many girlfriends. Most women want someone with a little less baggage I guess. It probably also helps that he's not living with three other men. I don't really care though, I guess. I have more to worry about."

Eric couldn't believe how slow it had been today. Well, for the past week and a half actually. He sat behind the crowded counter, flipping through the most recent issue of Superman. He'd already read it a couple dozen times by now. He could go find a couple fresh comics to flip through but he was comfortable right now. It would probably be a good idea to move, he was half-asleep. He'd actually started to nod off a couple times, but was awoken by the bell above the door ringing. He jolted awake each time, hoping it was a new customer or a friendly face. Sadly, each person had already entered and were just leaving. Maybe comics were becoming obsolete.
No, they weren't going out of style or anything. They were makinig comic book movies left and right. Hell, there were at least three or four comic book movies coming out in the next few years. He was actually really excited about them all. Except Antman, he never really was a fan of Antman. Whoop-de-doo, you can shrink and control ants. What good is that? Are you going to send the evil villains into anaphylactic shock? Eric rolled his eyes at the thought. They sometimes make the worst characters to keep things flowing.
He was excited for Thor and Captain America. And The New Avengers with Thor, Captain America, Antman, the Hulk, and Iron Man. Oh, Iron Man 2 would be coming soon too, that makes five comic book movies. Iron Man was pretty good. Speaking of sequels, there was supposed to be a new Superman movie coming out in the future sometime. He pushed his chair around to the other side and clicked on the computer. As soon as it was completely he signed onto the web, easily finding the news. He grinned like a child given a fresh bag of candy and read through everything he found out about the movie. Completely satisfied, he turned back around after shutting the computer down.
This really made up for his crappy week. He'd barely talked to Becky lately, he really had no idea what she'd been up to for the past couple weeks. No, he wasn't completely obsessed with her every move, but she is his best friend. Not that he doesn't have any other friends, Becky was really the only one he hung out with and did whatever. Everyone else was to appease his super geek side, Becky got tired of his nerd talk real quick. She did, on occasion, humor him if he promised to buy her a drink. Eric laughed to himself and tucked his fresh Superman comic away. He grabbed a notepad and began doodling.
"Welcome to Paper Heroes, let me know if I can help you with anything." He called cheerfully as the beel above the door rang. It had been empty before the new arrival.
