Basic Rules
The necessary evil


| Rating |
    ° Grimmtown is rated R, so there will be violence, blood, gore, sex, drugs, and foul language. You know, all the good stuff. So if you have a problem with that then I don't suggest joining. Topics with mature content in it must have [M] in the topic or description to warn members.
| Play Nice |
    ° Even though your characters may be enemies, everyone as members must be kind to each other. The first person to throw around hurtful words will be warned. No annoying other members, if a person asks you to stop talking to them, then please use your manners and do as such. If you have any complaints about other members send their name and what they have done to a Mod or an Admin.
| Activity |
    ° Try and stay as active as possible, if you don't think you will be super active, don't take on an important canon. If you are going away then post in the Absent board. I just find it rude when people disappear forever without a goodbye or reason.
| Registering |
    ° Your user name but have first middle and last name. Every first letter of the names must be capitolized. Example: James Jark Jury, Marie Claire Jones, Michael Larry Jerome.
| Icons |
    ° Since 100x100 icons are so boring, I have made it so keep your icons 150x150 or 150x250. Also I have no limit on signatures but if we (the Admins) find it is too large we will ask you to change it.
| Staff |
    ° Please be nice to us. I don't want to have to verbally bitch slap people, while I do enjoy it, I don't want to do it. When you are corrected by a Mod and/or Admin then understand they are doing their job whether or not they roleplay. Password Part One, starshine. Even if it is just a silly mistake like forgetting OOC, you will still be corrected. Learn from your mistakes.
| Warning |
    ° Okay so if you're gonna be a dummy head, we'll let it go the first time. However, if you keep being a dummy head, we will knock you so far back in time, you won't even be part of this site no more. So please, don't be a dummy head.
| Post |
    ° Okay so I don't want to give a posting requirement. Everyone has their off days but give the person you're role playing with something to work on. So a good solid paragraph will be the limit because one liners piss me off.
| Characters |
    ° While Canons and Originals are accepted, you must fill out the proper forms on the Canon List before you accepted. Don't just register a character name and post an app, it makes things a bit more difficult for us admins. ALWAYS RESERVE YOUR CHARACTER WHETHER ORIGINAL OR CANON BEFORE POSTING A FINISHED APPLICATION. Once a reserve runs out, it's up for grabs unless you renew it.
    ° No RPing any one's characters except your own, unless you have permission from that member but you must put that in the post where you RP their character. Password Part Two, Duck. No god-modding. This means, no making your character absolutely perfect and untouchable. Your character has flaws, if they get punched they might might not always duck it. Be fair. This rule also means, no mary-sues or gary-hues or mopey joes or sad sallies.
    ° We love seeing people take on multiple characters only if you can handle it. Now, each character you take on must have a unique personality. If we find that your characters are too similar, we will ask you to change them. If we find that you are inactive, we reserve the right to ask you to give up one or more character.
    ° If you want to take up a new character, each of your previous characters must have a finished thread. A finished thread is one that each person participating in the thread has agreed that it is finished and a moderator or an admin has moved it into the Finished Threads category in the Graveyard. We will check when you begin creating a new character to make sure everyone of your characters has a finished thread.

    Attention Reservers! Grimmtown has experienced spambots posting ads in our canon section. So please register before you post a reserve. We can always change your name if you want a different name later! We're sorry for this inconvenience.
