overall history: "During the Homeland Wars I used my healing song to help the injured and fallen and my feathers helped light the way for the cavalry. It was a good fight and I really felt like I was contributing to a winning effort but relief never came. Eventually our numbers dwindled and I was ordered to be the leader in helping who was left out of the Homelands. It wasn't long before I lost my plumage and was given a body more suitable for a less magical world. I have the tower witch to thank for that. Sadly I can feel death on my body and around me, and it's a new feeling compared to the immortality I felt as the Firebird. I suppose it's best now because as a bird I could have never performed surgeries or saved the lives that I have."
