Kana walked onto the train and sat in the first empty compartment she could find. She opened up her kittens cage and let him out. He wandered around the compartment then settled a place to lay down.

Kana thought to herself " I wonder what Hogwarts will be like?"

Aeron walked swiftly through the train. Her head was down and she was alone. She wasn't as excited about going to hogwarts as the other kids. She glanced up and watched them waving goodbye to their parents and wished she could do the same. But her mother had gone into hiding after the death of Voldemort, her grandfather, and refused to see her off to Hogwarts. "Cheer up Aeron." she said to herself before she entered a compartment with her all white ferret.

"Hi, can i sit here?" she said in a shy and timid voice to the blue-black hair girl with the cat.

Kana looked up at the girl who had entered the compartment, "uh, yea I don't see why not." She smiled at the girl, "My name is Kana Kohime, what is yours?"

Aeron took a seat across from Kana, "I'm Aeron" she hesitated slightly before saying her last name. "Riddle. It's nice to meet you." She added as a second thought.

"Thats a Cute cat", she saidas she noded to it"Whats its name?"

[Kana]

"Nice to meet you Aeron," said Kana as she tried to place where she had heard the name Riddle before. "My cats name is Mayaa, whats your ferrets name?"

Mayaa jumped off of the seat he was on to go sniff Aeron's shoe, he looked up and mewed.

"His name is Calix." She said looking nervously down at the cat that had just meowed at her. Calix on the other had crawled onto Aerons shoulders and hissed. the hiss was nearly inaudible.

[Kana]

"I think he wants you to pet him," said Kana as she looked at the Calix sitting on Aerons shoulder. "So what do you think Hogwarts will be like?"

"Oh," she bent down and peted the cat, mean while calix hoped up on to the shelf above Aeron. "Magical, I guess. I hope its fun though"

[Kana]

Kana smiled, "Yea, I hope its fun too, what house you think you will end up in? I think I may be in Slytherin or Ravenclaw."

After Mayaa was done being petted he wandered back to the spot on the seat next to Kana, he proceded to watch Calix up on the shelf.

"Well, I'll most likly be in Slytherin, but I'm hoping Im in Ravenclaw." She watched the cat walk away, and followed its gaze up to Calix, whom was sitting in a hunched gargoyle pose. "Do you think they are still using the sorting hat? I heard it was burned the night Voldemort was killed." She studdered on the word Voldemort. Her eyes growing slightly darker as she remembered the stories from that night, and the hatred for the wizarding world hero, Harry Potter.

[Kana]

"Yea, I think they will still be using it, or at least a new version of it," Kana suddenly remembered wher she had heard the name Riddle before. She realized that sitting across from her must be Voldemort's granddaughter.

[GoldFishy]

"Where would they get a new sorting hat from" Aerons voice was filled with curiosity. She was caught by surprise when Calix jumped off the shelf onto her lap and coiled its self up for a nap. She began to pet him softly.

[Kana]

"Not sure where they would get one...," said Kana as she watched Calix leap into Aeron's lap. Kana looked over at the compartment door and saw that the snack trolly had stopped.
