Hillriver View This is where the wealthy live. And in a city that, to quote the chef-by-day, superhero by night known as The Chef, is "in hot water, but not done yet," many would say that life for the rich is a bit dry, and that many of the people who live here are flaky and half-baked anyway. |

Saint James' Hospital St. James' is clean even for a hospital. Most people, if given the choice, will choose this out of the two hospitals, both for that reason, and due to the fact that many think that crazed surgeon wasn't insane to begin with, but that the city hospital has something strange in the tapioca pudding. |

Club X The rich have been trying to shut down Club X since the middle of the nineteen seventies. Many of the wealthy like the security that comes from believing that the poor are incapable of setting foot in their area of the city. Despite its location, Club X tends to draw in a rough crowd, and the inhabitants of Hillriver View and the surrounding area don't like that. |

Pleasant Garden Residential Complex This is the oldest part of the city, and was actually a nice place to live once... before it became overcrowded early in the city's development. Finally, it got so bad that the wealthy began to have homes built in other parts of the city. Since then, poor placement of city funds have slowly turned the area into what one might call "the slums" of Gideon City. Currently, nine out of ten buildings in this area are apartments, nearly all of which belong to Pleasant Garden Property Management, who, to put it bluntly, doesn't give a damn if your water's out, and if you catch them on a good day, may recommend you call a plumber. |

Cider Avenue With the reputation "enjoyed" by Pleasant Garden, you'd think those who weren't forced to live there would avoid the East Side altogether. Not so. One street, through its commitment to retaining the culture of the original St. Gideon (as the town was originally called) as well as the restaurants, bars, and gift shops all along the area, has captured the attention of the wealthy, and as a result, still stands today, much the same as it did two centuries ago. Well... now it has electricity and indoor plumbing, but you get the idea. |

Downtown Apartment Complexes These are the apartments scattered throughout downtown Gideon City. Usually, they're clumped together in three or four city blocks in a row. Many of them are right outside the business district. |

Gideon City Hospital Though people still go here in emergencies, most tend to schedule testing or surgery at St. James' Hospital, as many people are nervous about the city hospital ever since one of the surgeons decided to extend Dr. Kevorkian's policy to the young and life-loving. |

Gideon City Zoo Interestingly, located at the exact opposite end of town from the prison is the Gideon City Zoo. From aardvarks to zebras, any animal you could possibly want to see is probably here somewhere. Children and senior citizens get thirty percent off of admission on Tuesdays! |
