Belvedere gets good reviews, has options for 2 doubled beds, and appears to have kitchenettes (not sure if in all rooms). At least one of the hotels I was looking at tonight only has single queen beds so max two people per room. These are all 3-4 stars, averaging $140--$165 or so per night, per room (I searched with 2 people per room, 2 double beds.)
Hotwire had some as deals cheaper, 3-4 stars in theatre district for $119 --$130, but you don't know what the hotel is until it's booked. Priceline wasn't working for me tonight. Also good Hampton Inn and Best Western. These are all in the mid to low 40's blocks, so close to theatre. The Milford Plaza where we stayed last time doesn't seem to have rooms available the weekend we're going. The Holiday Inn where we've stayed before is at 57th Street 15 blocks or so, so I ruled it out. Need to know when people are going to be arriving. Betty, her niece and I so far probably Thursday. Anyone else that day? Anyone object to 4 per room? Anyone thinking about not leaving until Monday? How many folks total? Anyone want to volunteer to put on their card? May need two people to offer cards. ;fred; |
