[Murasaki Junichi]

Junichi sighed, aggravated. He was in front of a door yet again. It seemed it was all he was doing that day. But he remembered that stoic, lady-headmistress of theirs with her calm, if not cold, look and decided, well, whatever. Better not mess with a dangerous-looking lady.

Besides, the old man, his supposed mentor (he had forgotten his name) told him he had to meet up with him.

So he knocked on the door in front of him and waited.

[Sync Satashiri]

He placed a hand on his laptop. The machine was busy reciting out the student roster for him. He nodded with each name, noting them down into separate files. His desk was piled with paperwork, aside from the canvas that contained a half-drawn scenery of the school grounds.

He simply did not have the time these days!

Sync sighed, sliding down two pills into his throat and quickly drinking some water.

Problem, problems...

Oh? He looked up, hearing a soft knock. Who was this now? Moving towards the door, he opened it and found himself facing that new student of his.

"Oh? Murasaki-san...Hello." He replied warmly.

[Murasaki Junichi]

The door in front of him opened and there was the old man, who said, "Oh? Murasaki-san...Hello."

"...Sensei," he answered as a greeting. He still couldn't remember his name, though. Was he getting senile at such a young age? He shook his head to erase senseless thoughts and bluntly said, "You said you wanted to see me."

He shoved his hands in his pockets.

[Sync Satashiri]

Ah, his new student.

Sync gave a small smile, gesturing him to come in.

"Don't stand there. Please do come in." He said, walking behind his desk and sitting down. He glanced at the machines on his table, dipping his head in apology.

"Forgive me if my desk seems messy." He said, turning to the laptop.

"Are you done yet, dear?"

"No, sensei. In a minute or two." The laptop chirped back.

He nodded. "Would you like tea, Junichi-san?" Sync asked, setting out some teacups.

[Murasaki Junichi]

"Don't stand there. Please do come in."

Junichi followed the teacher into the room and sat on a nearby chair, looking around the place.

"Forgive me if my desk seems messy."

He only shrugged, not caring. He was a pretty messy guy, too. It was only natural.

Then, Sensei talked to his laptop. If that wasn't weird enough, his laptop replied. D:

"Would you like tea, Junichi-san?"

Junichi blinked, shook his head to clear it, and went to answer, "Sure,"

After a few seconds, he couldn't take not asking about it, so he did. "Sensei...did your laptop just talk?"

[Sync Satashiri]

Sync blinked at the young man, and then suddenly laughed. The laptop just squealed.

"Oh~ A new student~! Hello there~"

The man shifted in his seat slightly, placing the cup of warm tea before Junichi.

"Yes...Its my Alice you see." He replied, patting the laptop. "Technopath."

He turned to the controller on his table and whispered a few words.

The machine disassembled right before them.

[Murasaki Junichi]

"Oh~ A new student~! Hello there~"

Junichi flushed as the squeal rang in his ears. Well soorrry if he was new and did not know anything. He rolled his eyes.

"Yes...Its my Alice you see. Technopath."

And the laptop disassembled in front of him.

Junichi jumped in his seat. A little. Just a tiny little bit.

Okay, fine, so his teacher had this...technopath. He was fine with that.

He took the cup of tea in front of him and steeled himself. He would not be taken aback by the next thing that his teacher had up his sleeve.
