NOTE: If you are under 13 do not bother registering. Sorry, that is the Invisionfree TOS. They are our provider and it is only fair we abide by their rules. 1. This site is a PG-14 rated site, which means the following: There will be cursing, there will be sexual content, and there will be violence. Don't take this as an excuse to get carried away though. Don't let the sexual content get too out of hand, this is still a PG-14 site. Careful with the wandering hands and stuff. Also, easy on the cursing. It isn't literate, funny, or entertaining to be cussing every other word. On the flip side; please do try and be mature about it all. I know this sounds horrid, but major immaturity is a major pet peeve of mine. If you're mature enough to roleplay this anyways you should be mature enough to handle more adult content. 2. Spamming...DON'T DO IT! There is a SPAM board and in that little slice of the forum it's perfectly fine, but don't do it anywhere else please. Double posting is included in spamming. The edit button is your friend. Use it. If your computer is having a problem that does not allow you to edit your post and it is a necessary edit, then that will be an exception. OOC is okay, just make sure you have an IC post to go with it!!!! 3. Harrassment is wrong and quite annoying, sometimes it can even be scary. If I hear that you are harrassing someone you are immediately banned without a warning. If someone is harrassing you SAVE THE PMs or the conversation. I will need proof of the harrassment because some people may just want others to be banned for no reason. Also, if you suspect that someone has broken into your account: change the password. if that doesn't work we can discuss other security measures. 4. One-liners are strictly forbidden on this forum. This is, quite simply, something I can not stand. Each post must be atleast three paragraphs. Paragraphs are 5-7 sentences long so your post should contain atleast 15-21 sentences each. It's easier than you think when everyone is doing it I promise. Just use some details! If you need some help, we will be pleased to offer Help. I'm not asking everyone to be an advanced roleplayer. Sometimes I understand there's really just not much to say and that's okay, but let's not make it an every post occurance. If you start posting too little too often or start posting something that's out of character (applies to main canons only) then one of the admins will have to have a talk with you. Note: It's fine to use one-liners in the SPAM board and anywhere else where it is not an RP. 5. I am also a bit of a Grammar Freak. I am not asking you to write professional posts, but please, there is a spell check option; USE IT! Take time to reread your posts before hitting submit. If you need to, get someone else to double check it for you. I understand everyone makes mistakes. I do too. But a lot of common grammar and spelling mistakes are avoidable. Infact, I have grammar and spelling tips in the RP Help area. 6. I'm not asking for everyone to be on 24/7. I understand we all have lives. I myself have one of those. The password is Footloose. But I am going to require one post a week, ESPECIALLY for a major character. 7. Graphics are to be no bigger than 500 x 200 (signatures) and 100 x 100 (avatars). Images are to be PG-13. No nudity! 8. Also, you may have up to three characters, no more than that. I can and will check IPs to make sure this rule is followed. If you think you can handle more than three PM me and we'll discuss it. This is for a good reason. I am not trying to be a control freak. 9. Okay, now the other stuff that will probabely come up: Killing off your character. Well, that is actually rather realistic round here so I won't completey ban it. But I would like to be informed before hand please so I can tell you "Hey! No. Still detrimental to the plot" if you happen to be rather important. If you find you've taken on too much then give your character to someone else (post in wanted ads) or allow me to delete your account. No killing off important roles because you've gotten too busy. Pregnencies. Hmm.....gotta remember this is still a highschool roleplay. There may be one or two but please don't go round making every character pregnent. Not realistic or fun. Trust me. If you're pregnent then by George you need to roleplay that way. No six week pregnant woman is gonna be out partying. There are consequences to our actions people. If you are an important canon (which is basically all canons) then you should probabley PM me before you announce your character pregnent. Drugs. Consequences. There ARE consequences. Addictions. Overdoses. Ect. DO NOT go around making everyone addicted to drugs. I do not want to have to set up a rehab forum as well. This is highschool. Drama is good but there IS such a thing as too much my dears. This is not a regular highschool roleplay. It is based on TWILIGHT. Let's keep it so, shall we? Having a character that swings the other way if you catch my drift. I am very sorry but I do not think I am going to allow that here. I have nothing against gay people, really, but I do not want to see any of that roleplayed out. Plus, I am a christian and while I'm not gonna go mucking in someone else's buisness, when it comes to my site, I will not have it. NO FIGHTING OOC. We are all working together to create a story. I do not want a bunch of people going around talking about one another behind their backs or fighting with eachother. If you have a problem, let me know and I'll step in so we can solve it like adults. I've been on sites like that and I hated it. Aren't our cliques bad enough in real life? Fighting. Just don't do it. Not here. If you continue to be a problem and fight with all the members I will ban you without a second thought. Make new members feel welcome. You might just find a person you enjoy roleplaying with. 10. Finally, have fun. Be creative and dramatic and whatever else it is you wanna be. I'm honestly not the terrible person these rules make me out to be. I'm more leniant than I sound (though this is the only time I shall ever admit it). If you have a suggestion, tell me! I'm happy to hear what you have to say.
