The Crusades, great battles to regain the Holy Land for those that believed in it.
In the last crusade the powerful Sultan Al-Kamil agreed to an eight year peace with Europe. This allowed Christians to rule over most of Jerusalem, while the Muslims were given control of the Dome of the Rock and the Al-Aksa mosque. Many of the Muslims though were not happy with Al-Kamil for giving up control of Jerusalem and plot against the kindly king ellected by the European rulers.
Little do the English and Muslims know that armies are being ammassed to ride against them, with a full intent on attacking and sacking the holiest city on earth. The Ayyubids invited the Khwarezmian clans to plot with them in an idea of overthrowing the city.

The year is 1240, and the city is Jerusalem.

A city ripped apart by years and years of war the uneasy peace that has settled is a welcome one. Despite the fact that there are still religious murders, and more biggotry and biast then a single person can handle the city is relatively calm. A king, ellected by the conguerors of the city now rules with a policy for the fair treatment of all the religions. The law and rulers of the city spend their time trying to reach out, to include everyone, and to be honest and peacefull.

The world seems to be rallying against the cause of those that wish the Holy Land nothing but good. People plot against the king and his followers, invaders plan to sack the city, the people ignore the laws and try to murder one another, and the now fallen former leaders of the Holy Land plot their revenge.

Can the city stand as it is seemingly torn into pieces?
