Thank you for taking the time to read through these rules. They're in place to ensure that everything runs smoothly and that you have an enjoyable time here at FH :)

General

1. Please be polite when asking questions or requests. They will be taken much more seriously if you do. Also, respect your fellow members. When in doubt, PM them before taking a radical turn in the thread. Your character's actions will have consequences, as will yours.

1a. Godmoding (acting on behalf of another's character) is not allowed unless the other player has PMed me or a mod, giving their consent.

2. We are rated PG to PG-13. Topics with graphic descriptions of violence, sex, etc., are never allowed in accordance with the invisionfree terms of use. We try and keep it relatively light-hearted on this board.

3. Posts should be made in a readable format, past tense, and in third person.

4. When creating a thread, put the topic title as whatever you'd like & the date, and the topic description as the characters involved (or open if it is open to all).

Example:
Topic Title: In the Garden - 9/3
Topic Description: Sam & Kathy
OR
Topic Description: Tag Emily
OR
Topic Description: Open

Please timestamp your posts. The month is only defined by us, but you can set the day. Keep in mind that your character will be affected by the content of that post in any other threads taking place AFTER that date.

5. Icons must be 100x100 and signatures no larger than 450x250 (or 3 100x100 icons).

6. OOC text should be limited to one or two lines within a post. Anything longer, please open a thread in the OOC board or take it in the c-box.

7. Let us know when you will be away by posting in the Absences area. Thank you!

8. If you plan on leaving us (sniff!) please do let us know either via PM or in the OOC area, and we can make provisions for the threads that you are currently in.

9. I encourage character arguments & rivalries but remember not to take them off the board. ;) Please PM me if you have any major discrepancies or issues with a player; DO NOT PM THE PLAYER.

10. Finally, regarding length of posts - there is no post length requirement. Personally I value quality over quantity. Even if that means posting one line that heightens the drama or fun of the thread. That said. . . think about the players you're interacting with. Would you like to get a one line post in return all the time?


Character Rules

1. When joining, please set your username as "Firstname Lastname (Playername)". Register a different account for each of your characters.

2. Each member may have 3 characters to begin with and at least one must be of the opposite gender. PM me if you have a dire need to create a fourth character.

3. Do you have an idea for a character or want to request one to be played? Post a brief sketch of their profile and any PB suggestions in the Receiving Callers -- Characters Wanted thread.

4. If you have any NPCs attached to your character, and find that they begin to take up more posting space than your main character, please create a separate character for that NPC.

6. Both original and canon characters are accepted at this time, but canon is preferred.
