It's the old story, isn't it? Too much, too young, too soon. These youngsters suddenly have fame and fortune shoved into their hands and they don't know how to cope with it.
The entertainment industry - especially the music trade - is a harsh one. It does not train or assist the immature and vunerable; they are left at the wayside to make way for the next sensation. I hear that pieces of Brittany's hair is being offered for sale on ebay. Is she down to her last million?  |

I think she has been saying that her main reason is that she is fed up with all the attention she is getting. So...she shaves her head so people won't notice her any more?

Does anyone remember the Irish singer Sinead O'Connor shaving her head for some reason? If it jogs your memory, she sang the lovely song 'Nothing Compares (2 U)'.

She shaved it because her long term boyfriend dumped her, I think. That song is basically about her true heartbreak.
When my boyfriend dumped me the first thing I did was grab a pair of scissors and cut my hair, and my mother did the same when she found out her then boyfriend wanted her for his mistress whilst he married the richer woman! |
