Rainbow Bridge

Someone I know,
told me of Rainbow Bridge.
A legendary place,
that exists at life’s edge.

The power that is granted,
by this mystical overpass,
is to speak with your loved ones,
that have already passed.

This place is sacred,
and nearly impossible to find,
because, in order to get there,
it must first exist in your mind.

The person who told me,
has three waiting for them.
I’m hoping I don’t see more than one,
before I cross over life’s rim.
