`The Powers

Power(s) description: Solkat's power is to make plants grow at a celluler level. Solkat's body constently pulls in solar energy, both to fuel her power and to slow her ageing. However her power litterly lacks a way to turn them off. This means her body constently pulls in solar radiation, the more the energy builds up, the harder it is to keep her powers in check. When uncontrolled, Solkats powers will useually mutate random nearby plants or induce rapid growth. Despite her ability, she has been unable to produce any eddable food or reduce the size of a plant. Her hair generates small seeds which she can use to fuel her ability from her hands upon grabbing them, these seeds grow in the inner layers of her hair so their not easy to see. Solkat has been able to mutate new species of excisting plants. SOlkats hands and eyes glow pink while this power is used though she needs neather to use her power, as she can sence the excess energy plants natrully emit.

Her slow ageing is a result of a small internal organ that generates the seeds in her hair, as they produce seeds, they give off an excess enzyme, which retards the ageing of her cells, to the point whare she ages at just 1/7 the rate of humans.


Power Flaws: Her powers lack controll, which often gets her into situations which atract attention. The strain of keeping her powers in check also produces violent mood swings in which she has been known to kill normal humans. Solkat can also grow nothing eddable, her fruits useually smell rotten and tend to be acidic. SOlkats powers can also be entirely negated by encaseing her in a room without acess to natrully derived materials.

Weaknesses:Able to be blinded by rage in combat, and over a human killing a mutant. The No off switch for the power thing (feeling like i spammed that reason), Violent mood swings. Her powers can be entirely nutraized by trapping her ina room made entirely of sythetic fiber. with no new plant or solar enenrgy even the seeds in her hair will stop growing as will what she can do with them as her own stores fade. Personality: Solkat will befreind any mutant or otherwise powerd being, however she will treat humans much like animals. She beleives Mutants are the next evalution. So before she befreinds somone, she will first try and figure out if their mutants or humans, her reaction to the person almost entirely dependent on the answer. Solkat also has violent mood swings, which coupeled with her hatred of humans often ends in her trying o kill humans around her, even as she tries to flee bad situations caused useually by her own powers. She beleives her killing of humans speeds up the rate at which Mutants will conquer the earth, and thus sees no issue with their deaths. Solkat will often stay up for days, somthing she elarned to do as she worked in mexico and Californya in order to stay alive during this time useually Hideing or trying to meditate in trees, she tends to choose a few freinds and stays close to them though to date Solkat has eather abandoned or killed those she called freinds eather for being human, a crime in SOlkats eyes or for betraying her. Solkat also has a moral ambiguity when it comes to the law, Often dominateing the Drug markit in a given area and making it more potent testing it on humans to make sure it was not deadly. Although she sees no issue in killing humans, she deplores the idea of killing mutants at all, seeing it as killing a sentinent lifeform.

Unable to trust Phychics and not wnating to save humans, Solkat has so far stayed away from the X-men, not wnating to fght other mutants or have to save human lives. At the same time she refused to join the brotherhood on the grounds they were willing to use mutants in ways that could kill them against their will just to get what they wnated. Unable to take a side, Solkat grew somwhat despondent and her mood swings have began to increase to do this, amking her less stablke then ever, her violent outbursts have destroyed more then one of her aprtments and have led to many deaths as she often seeks out combat during these periods, her personality somwhat shifting intoa more murderous persona. Solkat also has abandoned her real name, though she says this is becuse it wa s ahuman name, in relaity it is becuse she fails to recall it and so uses various alias's often amber Delkar,a woman she murderd at one point.

History: Solkat discoverd her powers at the age of 14, however once her father saw what she was, the man declared she was demon spawn and attemtpted to kill her with his shotgun. Scared Solkat's bodys reacted to the threat and a rose plant grew quickly enough to stab her father through his heart. Upon his death she ran away, and went to sleep. Soon kidnapped and taken to Japan, upon wakeing up from the drugs, she quickly. SHe was shadowed away by an old ninja master running an underground business in Japan. Training Solkat in the use of a sword, meditation and stealth as well as robbery and murder though after only a year, SOlkat discoverd the man was really simply useing her powers to make a fotune on the medicenal markit as well as to destroy his compatition. Angerd and betrayed Solkat slipped seeds into the mans food, and then used her powers to rupture his stomach. Making her way across the ocean, Solkat landed in Mexico, whare she was knocked out by a minor drug cartel. Solkat deminstrated both her powers and her willingness to fight and kill. Useing this the once small cartel grew in power and money, untill Solkat murderd the Drug cartels leaders and set sail to America. Solkat landed in san francisco and quickly got to work. Able to outgrow her compatition she quickly drew both good and bad attention. Though various raids were made on her apartments and wharehouses, police often found plants that while looking like pot plants had no THC in them at all, and were thus legal. Her ability to not get cought as well as grow her supply in minutes, quickly made Solkat alot of money. SOlkat Then met a woman, named Shari, a hitwoman she had found, falling in love with her, Solkat moved in with her. Months later she found out Shari was in reality an undercover agent and that her powers were actually the product of technoligy, feeling betrayed and hurt but unable to kill somone she had loved so much, Solkat abandoned her drug empire, and fled to the east, ending up in NY. Solkat quickly slipped into her old ways after trying to work as a casheir at a local super markit, which was boring to her as well as the lower pay rate. Buying a three story house, solkat began to convert the basement into a hydroponics facility, as well as buying two dogs, a German sheperd and a collie.

Encountering a phychic a littile time after, the Phychic used Solkats mental powers to easily delve into her mind, trying to take over her mind, if not for her pet dogs, mauling the man, when they went back to her house, Solkat realized she would have remained unde rhis control forever. Solkat develloped a hatred for phychics from this including them as targets of her anger like the humans though unlike the humans she swore never to act on it unless she was forced to.

Sample Post: (~fifteen sentences; ten minimal, average post length please) Solkat flexed her back as she looked around the street, it was morning and not to many people were on the street yet. RUbbing her head, AMber grimaced as she rubbed her head. Her hands began to tremble a bit, as they took on a soft pink glow. All around her plants began to grow visably, screaming she released her barriers holding back her powers, and the trees and plants began to warp, The side walks around her cracked as root trippeled in size, other trees grew thick spikes around their trunk and still others began to grow fruit that smelled a bit like rotting fleash. Looking around franticly she could tell everyone was looking at her, breathing hard as she reined in her powers, she pulled the katana out from behind her hair, they were only humans after all, but police would soon be thare, Solkat started running making for the enarest allyway.

SOlkat barely made it to the allyway when she heard the sirens of the first car streak by and screech to a halt as the spotted her still glowing hands, beleiving a fight to be inevitable SOlkat scatterd small seeds across the ground, as she waited she lit the joint she had been hiding in her hair, and breathed in deeply as she kept her sword low and unthreatening. She was no longer trying to force her powers back, but now, she gatherd the strands that only she could see, as they did not actually excist. WHen the police came, Solkat routinely dropped her blade and put her hands up, the officer slowly moved forward as if not trusting the situation, as soon as he enterd the alleyway out of veiw of most people on the street. The seeds sprang to life a sher eyes began to glow, before the officer could tell her to stop, the seeds had grown into thin but strong vines which grabbed his hands pulling them to his sides. Raiseing her Katana, Solkat walked forward with a smile traceing a path with it across the officers chest, he screamed but, Solkat used her powers, her eyes and hands glowing to make the vines grow like a gag in his moulth, he could feel thorns scraping the top of his moulth.

"Those thorns are quite poisenous, so i would watch it" she said casually, even as she stabbed him with the bkade and proceded to cut into him carefully, when a fist size hold had been made Solkat smiled as used another of the sccaterd seeds to form a slightly thicker vine, this one lacked thords, and thrust itself into the wound, the officer tried to scream, as the pain sent tremors through hsi body, shock took over however as the vine ribbed one of his lungs from his body ina shower of blood, raisieing it to her lips SOlkat took a bite out of the lung and spit it onto the ground.

Why do you like x-men?:I grew up with the -men, it always a great show that brought up issues to kids that later showed people how to acept others, weather were blue or furry, just nothing else, Kidding. Anyhow, My first experince was with the early 90s show, i think it started in 87 or somthing. Hated evalution but the new wolverine and the x-mens all right

I think i took care of it, if you wnat a diffrent picture i can choose another one. It is an odd request so iw as unprepared for it. I expanded the three sections you highlighted as well.
