So I have been getting a lot of messages about this and some about other things, but been trying to deal with it without it turning into a full out post. Can't do that anyone and don't want to. So Going to do this a full out post for all to see. And I don't want anyone to think I'm being a bitch about this or anything. I just want this to be a place everyone can come and not feel bad or feel like it's not a place they can call a safe haven anymore. And since the board has almost been opened for two years now, I'd hate for it to all crumbled because issues that make you not want to come to the board anymore. So decided to make some changes in the board.
But here is the thing. We are all on this board before of one thing. We all love Elizabeth and Lucky. We all love the couple... as well as the characters. Sure some might like one character more then the other, but that so doesn't matter, all that matters is we love Elizabeth and Lucky as a Couple. Also everyone. This was someone one of the Coaches used to say to me. Leave your drama at the door, because when your in practice it doesn't matter we are a team and we need to stay a team. (And if one falls down, we all fall down).... So goes to say this, If you have issues with other boards, with people on other boards, Other fan bases, I don't care if it isn't on this board leave it at the door. Last thing I want if the board to get into the middle of a fan base war. There are enough of them going on, lets not add to it. Also bashing of other people, Just because someone pissed you off on another board doesn't mean you can go off on them at this board. how ever, if you want to tell your friends about it via PM go right ahead, for I have no control over that one. Other wise leave it at the door.
I mean sure I have heard some things being said about certain things, but honestly unless it's going down on this board, I will ignore it and not worry about it (Mostly because I'm not on that board). But I see no point in getting into a fight I can clearly void. So please any issues out side of the board, leave them at the door and don't bring them here.
Same goes with all site information. Anything posted on here, like Images, Clips certain things you know you can't find anywhere else, please doesn't post them anywhere else. (At least not without proper credit. And you all know the clips rules)...
Also been hearing about negativity on the board. Okay I know we are at a very bad place right now with the couple, but doesn't mean we throw in the towel yet. And I know we aren't ready to do that yet, This is just a bump in the road we are going to face. We just need to stand strong and keep on fighting for our couple.
As for characters and stroylines. I don't care who you love more, but chances are everyone isn't going to like every single storyline that character or that couple is in. It's part of watching the soap. If you can like every storyline and every couple good for you, but that isn't everyone. And even if it's Elizabeth's current storyline or Lucky's current storyline and you don't currently like it, It is no a crime it's just simplely you don't care for the direction that TPTB are putting the character in. And that is okay. And If we work together, Be loud, Campaign and let TPTB know we don't like it and we rather a different direction hopefully we can make it change.
So here is a change. from no on all ranting and raving and anything might have to say about current storyline, certain character or couple. Put it now in the Ranting forum. That way all the Negativity, angry and anything else you might feel can be posted in there and if anyone wants to they can chose to read it or skip over it.
I can't really stop you all from being negative, I can try, but we the Admin staff are just three people. We try out best, but we can't catch it all. And we are trying to make this a great place to be for all Liz and Lucky fans.
And one last thing since I'm trying to hit everything I can. Like I said in the begging on the post. This is and ELIZABETH AND LUCKY BOARD. I don't care which character you like more, But this is a Board for Elizabeth Lucky as a couple. So we love both characters as equal here. This isn't an Elizabeth board and this isn't a Lucky board.. it's for Elizabeth and Lucky together!!! And yes Elizabeth "has a baby with" Nikolas.... and Lucky is currently in Ireland with the red head.... but doesn't we are going to start pimping those two together. And yes we aren't gong to get Liz and Lucky back together anytime soon... but we can still support them together. We need to stop worry about what is going on with these pairs and start worrying about finding ways to let TPTB we want our LnL2 Reunion. That we want to LnL2 get over this bump and end up stronger together. So lets stop the talk of other couple ideas with Liz and Lucky and start focusing back on Elizabeth and Lucky.
And like I said everyone. Not doing this to be mean, just trying to be fair to all parties that have joined this board. I want everyone to feel at home here. So if some don't, let me know or an admin know and we'll do our bet to work it all out. if things still can't be worked out and you feel to the need to leave, we can try and stop you, but if we can't just know we'll miss you. We try the best we can. It's not always good enough, but it's the best we can do.
