A proper Clan Introduction

A Proper Clan Introduction:
As I hope many of you know, my name is John. If you didn’t know that well that is my name, I am a “sop*illicit material*re,” at the University of Toledo. Currently I am dual majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. Basically what this means is that I love to design Integrated Circuits, and recently picked up the programming part of Computer Science. At the University we are required to do 3 mandatory Co-Op’s, a Co-Op is a glorified term for an internship. Through our Co-Op program I have been able to interview with a lot of truly interesting companies. Lucky enough for me I have been able to secure a Co-Op for the summer of this coming year.

Since I grew up in a very small hometown there were only two people other people whom I knew prior to coming to Toledo. This actually turned out for the better because I was inadvertently forced to make friends with people up here. Currently I am rooming with three other guys in a dorm building here on campus. Dorm life is overall ok though I would much rather have a home cooked meal compared to cafeteria food, but Ill survive. Ironically enough two of my roommates already played Runescape as well though I am a much higher level than both of them.

I also have had a girlfriend for over 3 years now, she is also a student here at the University of Toledo studying Early Childhood Education. I can honestly say here patience is over a hundred times my own. A few of you are probably still awe struck that I dated her for that long but in all honesty I have every intention of marrying her one day. But to me getting engaged at 19 seems a little premature. But there are plenty of people who do get married this young and it works. Personally I would rather have my degree prior to getting married.

Prior to coming to college, I had played Runescape for a 2 and a half years. Of those years I have been a member for a little over a year and a half. And I can honestly say that this game led me to pick up a dual major compared to just an Electrical Engineering degree. In case you were wondering, Yes I would be considered one of those smart kids that ruined the curve in high school. My high school GPA was a 3.989 non-weighted GPA and a 4.3 GPA weighted.

Some of my future goals are to get this semester over! Even though I have been taking college classes for over a year now I can honestly say this has been my hardest semester so far. Every night I have an immense amount of homework and studying to due which has led me to not be able to focus as much time to Runescape. After this semester my schedule next semester looks much easier and I can’t wait. But some of my future projects I would like to complete are a ingame client that I can use for Runescape. Basically a chat feature which much like swiftkit would sit right underneath the Runescape chat box. This is going to require a lot of time and programming skills which I am not quite sure I have yet. But the main reason I would like to do this is so that instead of typing “ / “ and be subject to Runescapes chat Rules. If you would type “// “instead it would be a hotkey and go to my client and bypass typing in Runescape. Personally I think this would be a far more superior client than Swiftkit IRC but I will see how it goes lol.

Java, C++, are our high Level (easiest )

Assembly is lowest we have gone so far (hardest)
