Elite Hunters: Clan or Community?

I am seriously thinking of making EH a "Community Clan"

what this is is similar to what we have with a few changes:

- All requirements will be dropped (anyone can join)

- Members could join another clan and be in the EH Community

Post your thoughts.

I have been thinking for a long time of deleting Runehead, and have us all join a IRC Team that has active clan wars. That way clan is a community clan but we leach wars off of a Team for those that like to war. But my only negitive feelings for this is that it will truely be the end of Elite Hunters because it won't be neccissary to join EH Chat anymore and the site will also become useless... This has good merit though I don't know if its good for the clan or not.

im with torb i dont like this idea to let elite huntrz die i mean look when we merged clans with bounty hunters and elite forces every 1 thought ( the ones that still remember that) we wouldnt last an look we been active for id say almost 1yr an 6months id say id like to see US as a clan just need more members and clan or even hc can decide what to do on that an inform clan- thats how i feel

I don't really know, yeah a community clan is great, so is having more wars, and more active people, but then it wont really be "Elite Hunters" anymore.

Well, if there were no requirements, people that just started out in the game would join the clan and not take things very seriously. They might join the clan and quit a week later because they lost interest in the game.

If members were allowed to be in other clans, there might not be as much activity in this one.

The idea seems good on the surface, but a little deeper look into it brings out some big disadvantages.

why the hell was runehead name changed to elite hunterz community?

Yeah, I don't know if this is still going... but I will have to agree with lancer. When i first saw adley's post, I was like "This seems like really good idea!" but after reading it again a couple times and thinking about it, i came to realize that yeah, Elite hunters (as a clan) would disinigrate before our eyes. So i vote NAY!

Technically, Elite Hunters is already a community clan. Think about it, Elite Hunters already meet majority of the qualifications of a community clan.

1. Elite Hunters has a very friendly and close community.
2. Elite Hunters rarely have wars. About 1 war every 1-2 months.
3. Elite Hunters has a lot of community based events.

Pretty much where I am going at is you guys are technically are a community clan and the only thing that is really keeping you from being an 'actual' community clan is the fact that know one can really admit it.

Do I want Elite Hunters to be a community clan? Not really. When I merged clans I originally had a goal of making Elite Hunters a mixture of Warring and Community and since I left the warring has vanished away slowly. I'm not saying you should bring back warring into Elite Hunters, that is up to the current leaders, but what I am saying is. Whatever you decide, make sure its for the better of Elite Hunters.
