New Powers and Warning System

PLEASE READ! EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!

After a meeting with Mville and Guardgod addressing a few issues that had been happening during cc chat, new powers were given and an updated warning system has been formed.

Captains, you have been given the ability to kick. Be warned, however, any abuse of this power will lead to an immediate deranking. You've been given this power for a reason-any abuse will not be tolerated, AT ALL.

New warning system: Because of several conversations that have erupted and started in cc that lead to many people getting offended and constantly have spiraled into chaos.

Racism, racist remarks or jokes: 1 warning before kick.
Racism will not be tolerated, this is ridiculous, all of us should be mature enough to know that being racist is extremely offensive and rude towards others.

Inappropriate language: varied warnings, 1-2 before kick.
Depending on the situation, you will be given either 1 or 2 warnings before kick. Language directed towards another clan member in an offensive way will not be tolerated, along with excessive use of language that isn't needed.

Spamming: 2 warnings before kick
No one needs the extra lag on their computer, you only need to get our attention once. Spamming is not allowed in Runescape, therefore not allowed in our cc.

Event Flaming: varied, max 3 warnings before kick
The event starters work hard to think of something creative and fun for the clan to do. These events are made to bring the clan together and keep us strong and on the same page. By flaming events, you're destroying all the hard work that they put into it, and it's very rude and immature to do.

Questioning Leadership/Authority: varied, max 3 warnings before kick
Members are given their ranks because of a reason, and anyone who questions that or refuses to listen to authoritative clan members will be dealt with immediately. If you have any issues with a higher ranked clan member, bring it up in a meeting with a gen or a PM, this will prevent issues from escalating. The leaders are trying their best.

Offensive remarks towards other clanmates: varied, max 3 warnings before kick
No one deserves rude remarks being made towards them, even if you don't like someone, be civil or polite. There is absolutely no reason to use offensive language or names towards others. Also under this category includes talking behind people's back, etc.

3 KICKS/WEEK=DERANKING!
5 KICKS/WEEK=BANNED FROM CLAN.

WARNINGS WILL BE GIVEN IMMEDIATELY AND UNDERSTAND THAT THERE IS ZERO TOLERANCE FOR ANY OF THE ABOVE. THIS IS IN EFFECT IMMEDIATELY. A TALLY WILL BE UP AT THE END OF EVERY WEEK (SUNDAY EVENING) WARNINGS WILL BE ERASED AT THE BEGINNING OF A NEW WEEK. THE POINT OF THE TALLY IS TO MAKE YOU AWARE OF WHAT WARNINGS/KICKS YOU HAVE RECEIVED SO YOU WILL BE MORE CAREFUL IN THE FUTURE.

I think that this has been a GREATLY needed improvement to this clan, to make the clan chat a much more friendly atmosphere to those seeing if they wish to join. Also, this will keep everyone in a better mood and keep things calm.

i agree with these rules, but on the other hand for the poeple that dont know me unlike ville, lancer, torb, cry, irish, jt aka jacob, veron and chad. im prolly the most
racist person at times an use offencive language like every other 5 minets so just aheads up if you cant tell i was joking then please read what has been said cuzz if anything was ment for you purposly i would call your name out. and on the other hand if i have offended you please tell me cuzz i will appologize for my offence towards any 1 in clan. just thought to get that outa the way cuzz inkow im abe banned within a few weeks pce peeps.

Deths, as said in the post, you'll get a ban only if you get kicked 5 times within a week. At the start of the next week, you'll have your warnings erased and a new week will start.

This was needed, after witnessing many people in cc even a general i won't name who all insulted and ganged up on 1 person today, which was unnecessary -.- people need to learn to respect their clanmates on a good day and on a bad day, more so if they have asked you to stop

Grumpy, two things. First, the things addressed with this thread were talked about and released after your deranking.

Secondly, it's not new about how you've been treating other clanmates, flaming events, certain comments, etc. I personally believe you were lucky enough to not have something done to you until now.

I agre with the rules but I don't think captains should be allowed to kick thats alot of people who are allowed to kick I think it will just cause chaos.

I understand where you're coming from, Dragon. But as highlighted in the initial post, any captain who abuses their kicking power will be deranked ASAP. To be perfectly honest, I doubt kicks will happen much-since many of the offenses listed will give 1-3 warnings before a kick, and usually people will become smart after the first or second warning.
