The game is basically a medieval game..not really any introduction, you just begin with a sword, and a horse, use the suns rays (Not that lame, but that's the best I can explain it.. :P) to seek out where collosuls are. (collosuses are big creatures on a cursed land in which you trespassed, VERY BIG)
The game is VERY VERY FUN, one of the best games I've EVER played..And I've been around the gaming block, the controlls are a bit hard at first, but once you learn em they're easy...Moving the horse is hard for a bit to..
The story is lacking, you're a boy with no name who loved a girl with no name..The girl died in a sacrifice, you trespassed cursed land and got cursed, you asked a collosus idol to bring her back, he said kill all 16 idols in the land..You set off there, no other side stuff (sounds boring, but trust me, a game with just bosses is FUN!) NOTE: Theres not wandering enemys or anything..if any of you thought that.
Graphics are EXCELENT, they get a bit blury but that's nothing big.. Camera is fully controllable, nice.. UNCOMPARABLE. (note, its by a small company, so it has glitches, like you'll be running and a rock apears in front of you out of nowhere, but none of the image glitches affect anything...Lighting shifts dramatically sometimes..Nothing big, really.)
Sound..Well the shrine, and opening song is slow and...IDK..I don't like it, but during the boss fights music picks up but if you run out of veiw of the collosus it gets quiet..IDK, so much action when you reach the boss you don't notice the music.
Replay value? OF COURSE...The game has so many extras, you'll wanna play it a ton.

| Beat it once and you unlock hard made, and time attack..Beat hard mode and you unlock hard time attack..Hard mode is just the bosses have more HP and are harder to get to, ETC. hard time attack is the same, but I believe in time attack mode, you get 8 power ups (IE find all save shrines, better stuff, etc.) In hard time attack you get EVEN better upgrades of the normal Time Attack mode power ups. |
BUY IT, For all of you kids wanting a game for christmas, this is Defininetaly it.
You play it for PS2, if anyones wondering, and the rating is 'T' (For teen)
