I posted this in Dec's forum, but it never got any replies. So I'll post it here, too.

Hey, looky what I found collecting dust in my bookmarks folder: Insultingly Stupid Movie Physics. I'm putting it here instead of in the Entertainment area because it relates more to physics and the discussion of all the stoopid things we see in movies than to the movies. I think. rtfm.gif

Anyway, yeah. Who wants to start?

Next time I see a movie, I'll be sure to post up my physics impressions herein.

But wait a second! I do remember something from Van Helsing. Remember Van Helsing's little priest guy? Does anyone else think that his ability to make impossible throws was supposed to be some kind of in-joke? I mean, they never once talked about it, but that guy was just amazing with his arm! He threw the syringe... all that other stuff. I don't remember--that was last year, I think.

I don't really remember the priest guy, but I do remember that VH's auto-crossbow somehow managed to spit out bolts like an uzi or something (ROF, I mean). I know there are such things as auto-crossbows, but not quite like that.
