Ok. I have always wanted www.elstudios.com as my url but it was owned by some guy for a 4 year contract. it expired this year. So.. I have been waiting for it to expire and i was going to buy it.
Well all was going to plan when some company contacted the man who owned it and bought it out. they bought it out becuase they knew I was investigating. Since they now own elstudios.com they want to make me pay them $207! I get a emails from people who work there everyday. hounding me to buy it from them. I cant believe this has happened. People are so greedy.  today is a sad day for elstudios.  -------------------- |

Nothing new here, really. Just studying, studying, studying...

All my old movies are still lost. so a little over 145 of my projects are gone not to mention 15,000+ sound effects that I have been collecting since 2003. Music, games and 55,000 pictures and other files were lost as well.
The good news is that I can get my Hard Drive repaired this summer.. When I have $1,500 to spare.  So not lost forever hopefully -------------------- |

Well, I guess that is still quite good news, then. You'll get it back eventually. But I know the frustration.

I’m VERY!! busy. I have been doing a lot of contract work. YAY finally getting paid for what I love doing.
Right now I’m doing a bunch of Visual effect sequences for a feature film called Unremembered which comes out this summer. Making a few commercials and Im writing scripts for movies Im going to being shooting this summer. You should in the next week see my new reel go online. Not only did I get a contract, I just recently got a job at a production company that makes national commercials and movies. I’m a compositor. I basically assemble Special effects and edit. it’s awesome. -------------------- |
