Description: Members must read

Edric - December 27, 2005 11:11 PM (GMT)
I have decided to create some rules just for this forum.

Below are the the rules members must comply with, any member who posts in this forum and ignores the ruls will be warned and have their post Edited/Deleted.

1] Topic Titles:
When starting a topic about a book make your topic heading the Title of the book and use the Authors name as the sub-heading. So using Dune as an example the topic title would be Dune and the sub-heading would be Frank Herbert.

2] Book Reviews:
Too many topics here have begun with "Have you read this book . . ." then the only information given is the books title the authors name and about 1 sentence about the book. This is too little information! From now on your topics should begin with a Picture of the book if you can find one & the authors name and about a paragraph about the book. Now I don't expect you to type it all up you can just find the book online and copy and paste the description here then underneath post what you thought about the book. Again I will use Dune as an example using dunenovels.com as the source . . .

QUOTE
Here is the novel that will be forever considered a triumph of the imagination. Set on the desert planet Arrakis, DUNE is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Muad’Dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family—and would bring to fruition humankind’s most ancient and unattainable dream. A stunning blend of adventure and mysticism, environmentalism and politics, DUNE formed the basis of what is undoubtedly the grandest epic in science fiction.

These are still in development so expect this post to be edited frequently. If you have any suggestions just PM me and make the title of your PM Other Books Rules so I can give your message priority.
