| This story begins when a lone, half-drowned boy washes ashore on a strange coastline. He has no memory of who he is or where he came from; even his own name is a mystery. Yet somehow, through many adventures—and the inspiration of Nature—he finds his true identity. Ultimately, he becomes Merlin, the sage of Camelot and the greatest wizard of all time. |
Well, I know this is Fantasy and not sci-fi, but I really have liked it so far. I'm about 2/3s the way through it and although it isn't as deep as Dune, it is pretty enjoyable. Has anybody else read this book, and its sequels? Did you like them?

Nope I haven't read it. Who is the author? I'll try to check it out.

T.A. Barron, I think there are 6 or 7 books in the series, so hopefully it can keep me occupied for a while.

Sounds familier, but as it's fantasy I know I haven't read it.
What is it about, the whle Arthur story from Merlin's POV begining from his youth?
:BTW: The Hallmark channel made a mini-series about what I've described, so maybe that's why I think that's what it's about.

I think the title is kinda funny, weren't ALL of Merlin's years lost?
:p
