Title: A Seasonal Offering
Description: With apologies to Dr Seuss

How the Kev Stole Frank's Dune

Every fan who has read it loved Frank's Dune a lot...
But the Kev, who lived up north of Boulder, did NOT!
Yes, the Kev hated Frank's Dune! Pure envy his reason!
For HE should have penned it, with that guy named Doug Beason.

As always, it's fantastic. Can't wait for more!

On the twelfth day of Christmas,
the hack KJA sent to me
Twelve inane and stupid gholas,
Eleven shitty books,
Ten cymeks flying in dinosaur suits,
Nine creepy sex scenes,
Eight years a-milking,
Seven amazon reviews deleted,
Six books where one would have sufficed,
Five times the money for one fifth the content,
Four page chapters,
Three shitty book series,
Two terrible sequels,
And one fictional outline!

I like how one verse fits so well

Talked with Mr Teg last night, and I'm going to try to finish "How the Kev Stole Frank's Dune" in time for the year-end podcast. ;)

*with apologizes to John Lenin*

Imagine there's no Normacle
It's easy if you try
No Omnious to fight us
Erasmus was a lie
Imagine all the duners
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the muad'dib
I hope someday you'll fold space
And the duniverse will be as one

Ah, yes, John LENIN, leader of the RussoBritish Revolution of 1960. One of my favorites!

(Off-topic here, of course, but there was some silly comment defending bad spelling on another thread that I thought about responding to but ultimately didn't. At the time, I couldn't believe anyone would have the gall to defend their own laziness. Everyone makes mistakes; only an idiot is proud of them.)

By the way, I didn't get far enough along with the parody to make it worth posting more. I'll keep working on it and have it ready for next Xmas. ;)
