 Promethean Heart - Custom Card Submissions Thread, WORKING TITLE*

Please submit one card you think would be an interesting addition to DMA. The card must have the following.
  • Please provide an image to go with your card. This makes it more likley to be choosen as its easyer to add cards that already have art.
  • If it destroys a card(s) it must have a cost or drawback. This can be a Life Point Cost, Cards or maybe Monster Tribute.
  • If its a monster with a Special Ability its level and 'ability to summon' must be in balance. So no level 1 monsters that can increase their 3000 ATK once per turn....
  • A Trap or Spell Card that destroys cards belonging to you or your opponent must have an appropriate cost. All cards are different so i cant be too restrictive or specific but it should balance out any effect with a cost or the ability to play the card (e.g. a situational requirement).
  • Must be original and not just raw power. Chaos type cards are also not really liked in DMA and easy one turn kills.... so cards should try and avoid falling into the abusive catagory.
You are only allowed to submit one card. You can change the submitted card or edit it. But you must edit your post to indicate you have made additions to or subtractions from so we can keep a track of the changes.

UPDATE: I have been asked about the 1 card rule, and there seems to be some confusion. Originally i had planned for simply 1 card. But you may add more than one to the same post if you are not sure which to submit. However only 1 will be used per person.

This set will contain 60 cards. This set is also subject to removal at anytime and is currently a trial.

UPDATE2: Please note that i cannot accept cards that were used in "Duel Monsters Experts" custom pack, "Wheel of Destiny", or as OOAKs. Since people have requested that they not be used, and because DME is still officially up on BYOND and may be returning. Cards submitted for this pack should be fresh and original. I apologize for any inconvenience or disapointment.

UPDATE3: I request that people do not make cards based on other anime's or games. For example, "Metal Gear Solid" cards or "DragonBall Z" cards. Please keep your submissions to your own creations. You can post these here but they are unlikley to be added. Also remember that its possible some card submissions may be changed slightly when added to the game. If you do not have a complete image for your card, try to find something that can be used with it so i have something to at least get started with, thanks.

Trap Card (Normal)
Select 1 Level 7 or higher monster on your side of the field. During this turn, only the selected monster can attack and is allowed to attack your opponent's Life Points directly. Your opponent cannot activate any Spell or Trap Cards until the end of the Battle Phase. Destroy the selected monster during the End Phase of the turn this card is activated.

Magician's Familiar/ Spell / Quick Play

Effect: You may only activate this card if you have a Spellcaster type monster on your side of the field. Place from your deck to your hand a spell card with "Token" in the card text.

((EDITS: I just typed out the effect and card incase the image isn't viewable, and added in that you need to select a -spell-. That way, monsters that allow you to summon tokens aren't searchable. Also changed Effect wording, which was somewhat akward.))

While this monster remains face-up on the field, your opponent cannot select another Plant-Type monster on your side of the field as an attack target. When this monster is destroyed as a result of battle, you may select one Plant-Type monster (except "Dryad Princess Eurydice") in your Graveyard and special summon it in Face-Up Attack Position.

Edit: Eurydice has been given a new effect, since her original one was not very well-liked... Mr. Dante had a wonderful idea for this new one! I also just updated her again, because it was pointed out it didn't say -where- she special summoned from. I thought it was from the Grave, but Mr. Dante may have meant the deck...

Sorcerer's Ring
Equipment Spell Card
This can only be equipped to a monster on your side of the field. Depending on the Attribute of the equipped monster, the monster gets the following effect:
Fire - When the equipped monster attacks a monster in defense position and the attacking monster has higher ATK than the defending monster's DEF, inflict Battle damage equal to the difference between ATK and DEF.
Water - Once per turn, during your Main Phase, you can switch the Battle Position of one of a face-up monster on your side of the field to face-up defense mode.
Earth - Increase the DEF of all face-up defense position monsters on your side of the field by 300.
Wind - When the equipped monster were to be destroyed in battle, decrease the equipped monster's ATK by 100 to prevent it from being destroyed (this effect cannot be used if the equipped monster's ATK is 0).
Dark - Whenever the equipped monster inflicts Direct Damage to your opponent, your opponent discards 1 card from his hand at random, or 1 card from the top of his/her deck.
Light - Increase the ATK of all face-up attack position monsters on your side of the field by 300.

This card can only be equipped to a monster with [Silent] in it's name. Increase the ATK of the selected monster by 200. If the equipped monster is [Silent Swordsman Lv 0] or [Silent Magician Lv 0], then increase it's ATK by 700 instead.

Field of Silent Notions
Field Spell Card
Card effects that would allow a player to see another player's hand or cards drawn from the deck are negated. Any card effect that increases/decreases a monster's ATK or DEF is negated. Monsters with [Silent] in it's name are unaffected by the effects of [Field of Silent Notions].

This card can only be equipped to a monster with "Ninja" in its name. During the Damage Step increase the ATK of the equipped monster by 300 for each card in your Graveyard with "ninja" in its name. If this card is sent to the Graveyard due to a cards effect, shuffle this card back into its owners Deck.

This card can only be activated during the battle phase. Return a number of monsters from your graveyard to the top of your deck. Select one monster on your side of the field and increase its attack by 300 times the number of monsters sent back this way. Battle Damage done to your opponent's life points by the selected monster is reduced to 0. At the end of the turn, destroy the selected monster.

All right people thought my first card was too long. So here's another card to see if people are interested.

Treacherous Field - Trap Card - Continuous Trap Card - Pay 1000 Life points to activate this card. As long as this card is face up on the field, decrease the Original ATK of each of your Opponent's monsters x200 per card in your hand.

Once per turn you may activate one of the following effects.

- Halve the attack of all face up Machine cards till the end of your turn.

This card cannot be special summoned. If this card is targetted by a spell, trap, or monster effect, you may discard one card with "Gravekeeper's" in it's name from your hand to negate the effect. Once per turn, before your draw phase, you may add one card with "Gravekeeper's" in it's name from your deck to your hand instead of drawing a card.
