 Robot Arena 2 Game Additions

I know a lot of you are burned out on RA2 but I have begun to play it again recently since I now have my own computer. However, I was never able to use the Mod Packs back when it was popular because I had no home internet access.

I know there were plenty of sites to get them from but I can't remember one. I even remember one where there a forum to get them from.

So does nayone know of any sites.

EDIT: I have found some sites but most of them are down. I found some ARC Stuff but al ot of them are down. I found fish's site but only a few still work.

Ok, I have downloaded a few robots but I do not what to do with them.

I downloaded Omega's Pack and a few others but they are not working?

Any ideas?

What do you mean "not working"? Are they not showing up, or do they make it freeze?

They don't show up period. Plus the game keeps freezing. Ugh...

Well, I got the robots into the game but the damn game keeps shutting down.


EDIT: How do I get the Custom Components into the game. I put them in the Components Folder and they do not show up.

Ok, you pasted in the components, but did you run the .zip or .exe file or whatever. Geez, I haven't done anything like this for awhile, but there should be some sort of extra file to install or place in the main folder.

EDIT: Yeah, most custom components come with a .cfz file that you should place in the main RA2 directory.

Does anyone know how to unisntall the Starcore AI Pack. I want to install the Battlebots AI pack but the Starcore one keeps ocming up even though I authorized an overwrite.

Try gametechmods.com. They have a lot of RA2 downloads, so it's probably in there somewhere. Hell, I think they even have the ARC replicas. I'm not quite sure which one your referring to. It's been awhile.

I know this might be sprt of a stupid question, but has anyone tried playin RA2 online lately. My buddy and I tried playing online, but we couldn't find eachother's matches.

I haven't played online in a long time. I still play but it's usually just messing around with my bots I had in the Starcore V3 pack. I remember I made those bots at the tail end of ARC's interest in RA2. It would still be fun to play online once in awhile, though.
