OOC Name: Abstract

Name: Eliel Allistar Ellim

Alias:

Age: 21

Gender: Male

Height: 5'8"

Hair Color: Silvery Blonde. Reaches past the shoulder.

Skin Color: Pale White

Eye Color: Violet

Body Type: Thin and agile. A body type made for acrobatics. He has a look of speed in him if not outright strength.

Other Appearence: Eliel is a handomse youth. He carries himself with confidence and a roguish demeanor bordering on the arrogantly insolent. His face is open though with jokes and laughter coming easily to him.

He seems the type of person ready for mischief and indeed he does often find himself in trouble. Flamboyant, he enjoys attention grabbing clothes and actions. He rarely appears serious. Mostly this only happens when his natural charm and slippery tongue fails to get him out of trouble. He is also handy with the sword suggesting a past that had seen battle. He has a sing song voice used to fancy words and diction.

Sign: Sign of illusion

Magical Strengh: Strong. Eliel has trained in the use of his mental powers since childhood. Creating illusions come naturally to him now and he often employs this whenever he performs. He has not dabbled with his active powers though and does not now the extent of its potential.

Personality: Eliel is naturally charming. He is a roguish character not below stealing food much like a little boy. He is quite immature really. Very confident, he thinks himself impervious to harm and often acts recklessly because of this. In his mind there is nothing in this world that can stand before the combined might of his tongue and steel. He enjoys attention. He is a joker and a liar but not at all malicious. Just a youth in search of fun, which of course translates to women and drink. Typical.

Extremely creative and artistic, he revels in tales and songs and often actively creates new ones. He travels extensively visiting nobles, soldiers and common folk--anyone with an interesting history--in order to find inspiration for his next story or song.

He is loyal to his friends, of whom he has many, and will go out of his way to assist them in any way he can. He's not really dependable though. Sometimes a bit absent-minded his attention often jumps from one thing to another.

Overall he is a lively person. One who takes life one day at a time. He would probably end up in an early grave though if he doesn't learn to stay his tongue.

History: Eliel Ellim's parents were owners of an inn in a small town outside of Silver. Bard's often visited bartering their skills for food and bed ensuring that at a young age Eliel would always be exposed to music and greate tales of ages past. Being an impressionable youth, he often found himself daydreaming about seeing the world. His parents though would have none of it. He was needed in the inn they said. Someday he'd inherit it. Eliel had other plans though.

He was eleven then. An old bard had wandered into town and had asked for lodging and food. When the bard was allowed time to eat he approached him with his intent for apprenticeship. The bard was reluctant but was eventually pressured to agree. Leaving a note to his parents, he left when the bard did and trained under him. The world was waiting for him.

He trained diligently learning a number of instruments. He was also taught to juggle and when it had been discovered that he was of the sign of illusion his master often called upon friends he visited of the same sign to train Eliel in its use. Life wasn't always easy though and he quickly learned the habits of drink and theft. He only stole for survival though and avoided it if possible.

At thirteen his master had deemed him ready and the two went on their seperate ways.

At sixteen he found himself enamored with a young noblewoman. This wound up with him finding himself caught in a conflict with the noblewoman's mother and another person of the nobility. The nature of the conflict? Like so many others land. How did he get involved? Wanting to impress the woman, he volunteered himself to join the peasants conscripted for battle. She never did return his affection. Eliel foreswore love after that. Almost losing his head a couple of times for a failed cause could do that to a person.

At eighteen he won reknown at a contest held for bards. He was awarded a silver harp for being the best singer. This has done much to inflate his opinion of himself.

Now he finds himself in Silver. History was in the making and he wanted to be close by to see it occur.

Inventory:

Set of Knives: Used for performances and self defense.

Silver Harp: His favorite musical instrument. Won during a contest held by one of the great ladies in celebration for her daughter's birth.

Flute: Plain metal but elegantly engraved. Given to him by the bard he apprenticed himself to.
