Milena's Reunion

[Shadow]

Shadow and Milena walked into a graveyard of his hometown. "Home sweet home. Just be extra careful here, there are many demonic being here." He walked down the middle of the graveyard his sword at ready. "Oh ya, you might want to get your weapon ready, this is the worst place to be if you ask me."

"How so? I'm already dead?" She smiled as she grabbed her scythe. "This is like being home all over again."

[Shadow]

"Dead... this is far from it, and as for home, I wouldn't ever have dreamed to call this place my home," Shadow replied looking around as if something were going to spring out of nowhere and attack him. "But hay, call it what you like."

Milena gave Shadow a smile only she knew the meaning of. Haha, If only he knew the world I lived in. she laughed inwardly. "Okay, mister sir person, where to now??" Her mood, having been down for a while, rose. Milena was having a very optomistic moment. "Next stop, world's end." she joked. Or at least attempted to.

[Shadow]

Shadow turned and glared at her, "And hay, my names Shadow just to remind you. I don't like when people refer to me as anything else." He looked at her for a while and smiled, "you do remind me of someone, someone who lived here. Only met her once..." Shadow's smile faded. It was the only time he knew love, until Milena came along. But she wasn't for him, she already had a man although dead.

"You know whats funny, were being watched this moment!" Shadow said happily.

"Yep, I know. And why are you so chipper about it?" Milena replied. "Its not like its a good thing to be watched by some unknown source."

[Shadow]

"Because, this means we wont be attacked at the moment. My father or his mage is holding back the creatures right now. They either want to see how far we go, or they have something in mind for us." Shadow's smile widened. "This is going to be fun!"

"Weird." Milena sighed. "Why do i get stuck with the weird ones?"

[Shadow]

Shadow just smiled from her "compliment" and keeped moving forward. After a while, what seemed to be hours, they were almost out of the graveyard when creatures started to sprout from the ground and fly out of the trees. All of them looked dead, flesh rotted, most with insides or just meat showing, and clotted blood that fell like light stones to the earth. All of them groaned or shrieked while moving forward. Others cried allowed with glowing red eyes.

With razar sharp claws and talons they swept at both Shadow and Milena. Shadow unsheathed his sword and started to parry the attacks. "Come on, don't just stand there, fight!"

"Well gee.... thanks for giving me time to react!!!!!" Milena said sarcastically as she shifted he scythe from hand to hand. She swung at the creatures that came near. "Any clue as to why they attacked when we were leaving????"

[Shadow]

"Were not leaving, were just getting in, you know as in my home town. Their coming up to stop us from me getting in," Shadow still wore a smirk on his face. He swung his sword in a pattern when then his sword had illuminated with bright light. "One of the few white magick spells I know, an very effective against these bastards." With a wave of his sword in the direction, even if the blade didn't strike some othe the creatures, they were hit by the light. Some fell dead while others fell in pain. "So what do you got?"

"Cover me" Milena said as she folded her hands. She began to chant.Milena then began to glow, "You want light? You got it!" she said flinging her arms open and light flooded the area. This light had a golden glow to it; angelic. The beings began to fall one by one, burning in to nothingness. "Back to where ever you came from, damn bastards."

[Shadow]

"Nice," Shadow chuckled, "but watch this!" He started to morph into a creature that looked like a white peacock, him had a light aura gleaming from him. Beat his wings down at the ground and started to fly. 'you know, morphing and talking telepathically is quite fun! You should try it sometime,' he joked.

The light around him started to glow brighter as he angled himself at a good line of the undead creatures. All that could be seen from him as he flew was a faint streak of light that was left behind as sounds of bursting bodies followed.

"Showoff" Milena mumbled. "Do what you want... ad remember I can't morph...."

[Shadow]

He morphed back into his usual form right next to Milena. "Hope I didn't make you jealous by doing so," he teased.
