Milena Walked aimlessly along the streets of this place. A place she knew nothing about. She had no clue where she was, what she was doing or how she got here. The only thought that passed through her mind was the replay of the last time she saw Alec. Alecsander had showed her nothing but unconditional love and she had gotten him killed when he tried to protect her. Now she wandered the streets of an unknown place not knowing where she was headed. Pausing she looked up. Her vision was blurry with confusion as her mind helped her see Alecsander. Mind tricks were common in her situation. She lifted her hand to the man that was not there only to have him disappear. She then fell to her knees in one more goodbye to her long lost love.
When her farewell was over and she felt stable enough to stand she began again on her wandering ways. Her emerald eyes now a deep royal blue. About half a block down there was a door that caught her eye. A sign above that named it a tavern. She was drawn to the door. Her hand was moving to the handle to push it open before she could stop it. With a rather depressing sigh she entered the tavern.

Nicodemous smiled lightly before speaking "I beg to differ" the odd part of this being his voice was behind shadow. The form in front of shadow soon vanished "I love after images. If only I put some training into making them more real." he continued walking on "I have little need to kill at this moment. Leave me be" he said not appreciating how his peaceful night was interrupted by this man.

Milena opened the doors of the tavern to exit. She looked in all directions before she found what she was looking for. The two that looked like they were about to engage in combat "Hey! You said you meant no harm!" Milena yelled at the shadow man. appearing next to her fellow vampire. "I don't think its polite to go back on what you said." The way she said this would make and mortal shiver, her shear innocence giving it that chill.

[Shadow]

Shadow looked at her for a moment then glaced back at the foe, "You see, things people say arn't always right. Yes I ment what I said, but this fiend decided to fight, so be it." After saying that Shadow formed into a dragon. The flesh of the dragon had deep, deep dark black scales, the eye the same just bigger and the pupils were that of a reptiles. His claws were sharper than razers, his teeth also. Shadows wings looked torn but when he took flight, he could still fly. Telepathically Shadow replied to the foe, "If you don't want to fight then its to late. Once it starts, I finish it. Never has anyone stopped me, or even beaten the Dark Prince!"

[Nicodemous]

Nicodemous sighed lightly "SO says you." he said not wanting to exert anything tonight, he was more intent on his quiet evening. "Farewell." he said simply disapearing from sight. He was far out of town when he stopped moving. "I merely did not want his company, and wants my head...sad.." he slowing to walk a sudden gust of wind soon smacked him the back and then a large trail of dust. "I need less obvious ways to run." he sighed

Milena's gaze searched for her fellow vampire. But when she could not find him she turned back to the dragon. "You are so rude. You know that!"

[Shadow]

While forming into his usual self, Shadow replied first telepathically an then verbally. "Not my fault. He thought me as a murder, which I am not."

"Can you blame him?" Milena asked, her tone far from friendly. "I have the same thought. But I am not as quick to judge." she gave him a look of question, "Would you treat me in the same way?"

[Shadow]

"I don't think so, unless you judged me as quick as he did," Shadow replied while walking away. "You know, I was sent here to protect you. I was told not to tell you who it was that sent me. He said you might know what what I'm talking about, but if not, then I guess I will tell you what is to come," he added earnestly.

One thing passed through Milena's mind, but that person was dead. He had died years before protecting her. "Why should i believe that?" she barked, anger rising at the thought of Alec's death.

[Shadow]

Shadow looked at her, then said happily with sarcasim, "Fine, I guess when you die just as your beloved Alec; don't come crying to me," a grin filled his face and added, "where I'm from, my realm is literally hooked to heaven and hell. I have seen all that is torture, hate, love, and anything else you may think of. I turned to seek the meaning of my reasoning and in doing so, kill my father for creating me and for what he has done in his realm. Oh, don't forget what he will do to this nice world."

Milena gasped, he knew his name. "Ho-how do you know him?" a knot crowded her throat. her knees grew weak and she wrapped her arms around her midsection.

[Shadow]

Shadow turned away not wanting to look into her eyes, "All those who die wonder in my realm until they are judged either as good or evil. Heaven means they can run free where ever, hell is to be reincarnated at your fear and fear what you were," clearing his throat he continued, "Alec is one that has not been judged yet, within a week he will be. If you want to visit him, ask questions, anything. You have to trust me and follow. But be warned, danger lurks everywhere I go."

(Shadows home is the same as anything else, but what you know as a graveyare. This is much worse. Nobody is nice, not even in the slitest.)

The only thing that she thought of was seeing her beloved again. In reply she nodded, "Take me where i need to go." her voice was soft and pained. Her eyes filling with unshed tears.

(not sure if you know, but you don't have to switch boards when your role playing. You just need to start in the one that you want to.)

"Then follow," Shadow started walking toward the exit and while doing so he pulled out his sword to prepare for battle. He was right, a few creatures dropped down from nowhere. One was like a dog but bigger much, much bigger, it looked at Shadow with its cold dead eyes then looked at the girl. Another just like it had armor and just lunged at her throwing it claws. The last one was human like, the owner of these creatures, he stood seven feet tall and gazed at them both. He wore old tattered cowboy clothing, his skin was rotting, and his eyes were missing leaving nothing but a blank gaze. Shadow cussed then ran after the closest on to the girl. With his sword he punchered throw some of the armor and ran the blade down it spine. Crackling noises followed from behind the blade. This made the other creature stop, it looked at Shadow then its owner nodded and pulled out a chain with spikes on some pieces. The last creature started to charge right at Shadow. The owner was walking slowly into the battle whipping around his chain happily.
