Shadow unknowingly used a technique that came into mind, he and Milenda both fused together as a levitating mass of darkness and flew through the creatures.
Once out of town, Shadow unmorphed them from each other. "Well hope nothing happened when I did that..." |

Shadow looked at her and smiled, not from the sarcastic remark but from some strange feeling that he notice is common among mortals. "Well I guess we should get going then."

Shadow tought for a while then replied, "well it is going to take maybe a little over a month to get there." He stopped and added, "well lets stop here and make camp. Were going to need the rest for tomarrow."

Milena nodded and sat at the base of a tree. A sigh escaped her as she lay her head back. Closing her eyes she remembered all the things that Alec would tell her. 'Life is life, live it as if it wont last.' she mouthed. Not actually speaking the words.

Milena thought for a moment. "I honestly don't know. Maybe it will be one of those moments not meant for words." She smiled at the thought of seeing Alec again. "I miss him very much. It will be a nice thing to see him once more."
